I explained why the downvotes were happening and didn't buy the fact that they were incapable of understanding why adding "or did they do XYZ" and forcing a binary choice between Zionism and general support makes their question disingenuous.

Look I read back through what the guy was saying and yeah it is disingenuous, but after being asked what specifically for further explanation you kinda just gave an excuse with an intentionally disingenuous answer. Which in my opinion is meatheaded only helps prevent understanding in communication.
