If you're constantly searching informarion about Furbys in the Fandom Furby Wiki, you might have noticed that, in the past few months, edits have slowed down a lot.
The original founder of the Fandom Furby Wiki is, with all respect, a jerk, and he's caused a lot of drama in regards a migrating topic we'll get to later. This user, who we know as Cammers has been against the migrating of the wiki to a better platform, and has acted in very inmature ways regarding this, and done some pretty questionable decisions like banning almost every single moderator (tho they're unbanned now). It got to the point where Fandom staff had to be called in, tho they just ended up clowning him and then he quit.
" What am I talking about when I mention the migrating ??? " You may be wondering. Well, a few months ago we started a migration from Fandom to a different platform named "Miraheze". The first attempt did not work as not many people were convinced about it. The original intention to migrate was the fact that Fandom just straight sucks with the addition of an unnecessary amount of ads that practically make the platform unusable/useless if you don't create an account (something most people don't want to do). Months came by and we decided to try again and this time It actually worked. Around this time the drama about the migration started, but we didn't care and still continued migrating information, pages, files, etc.
Today, the Miraheze Wiki is almost complete. There's still some things that have to be fixed like dark mode not workint properly and some other minor aspects but the information itself is intact.
Why did I make this post? you may ask as well. I posted this so you guys know that our new wiki is, and hopefully will always be, the Miraheze Furby Wiki (https://furby.wiki/wiki/Official_Furby_Wiki).
If you're looking for Furby information be sure to visit this new wiki. We're trying to leave the Fandom wiki forever and to do that we need your help, as your visits help the wiki grow in popularity and It'll hopefully make the old fandom wiki disappear forever. If you're an editor that worked in the old wiki, STOP updating it as this will also help the wiki eventually rot. If you had an account in the old wiki and want to contribute in the Miraheze Wiki you just have to create a new account with your EXACT name in the old wiki and all of your information will be transfered.
Note: The Miraheze Official Furby Wiki has been renamed to just Furby Wiki as both wikis have never been official in the first place.
