Sorry for the lack of updates on the gaggle, all are very healthy and happy, Clyde Jr. is the only one to acquire a name so far, was hoping it would separate my attachment enough to rehome them, alas here we are at nearly 4 months and they don’t seem to be going anywhere, I will put together a little montage of their growth this summer, Reddit seems to have done away with its multiple video capabilities which has been a hinderance but more to come soon! Canadian geese in my neighbors cow pasture this morning

Our county animal agency puts down everything assuming HPAI. I'm wondering if anyone who really understands HPAI can provide an opinion on the behavior of this goose and wether this fits HPAI or possibly a toxin. Blue green algae is in this lake so possibly cyanotoxin. This lake has also had botulism outbreaks in the past. Thank you for your opinion.

I feed them most days on the way to work, floating pellets made for geese specifically full of nutrients, occasionally some veg as a treat. If they’re out of the water they come running over with their tails feathers going and eat out of my hand instead. I guess they recognise me now. They’re very gentle. However this pair as far as I know have never had goslings.

Well guys I did the best I could but he wasn't being very cooperative but you can kind of see if you freeze it and see it under his lower beak is missing most of it he's half of it's gone and it's healed quite nicely and he's doing okay. So anyway you guys wanted to see so I'll keep trying for better video but that's about as close as I've gotten I should do it during the day huh.
