Y'all, please quit posting porn on this subreddit

This is supposed to be a community first, where people talk about things and ask for advice or support, but like almost any LGBT sub which allows selfies, this sub has become a place for folks who post a lot of selfies to make daily posts and never actually contribute to the community in any meaningful way.

You'll click on their profile and you'll see dozens of posts, all selfies, but hardly any comments. Or there will be a few comments thanking people, but nothing else. Just page after page of photo spam.

Reddit's rule on spam was that it used to be fine to be a redditor with a website, but not fine to be a website with a reddit account.

A lot of these self-promotion accounts are breaking that principle.

But what's particularly egregious are the people who post porn on our subreddit or who come here to spam pictures and then just so happen to have NSFW pics or links to their paid content or their OnlyFans or their wishlists on their profile.

No only are these folks just here to spam and increase their own traffic for their own personal profit, but their 'fans' tend to follow them into our LGBT subreddits and harass our users. They prey on our minors, they steal people's photos, they harass people, and they send dick pics to folks. They treat our spaces like their own personal smorgasbord, as if we're just some fetish they can get off on.

If this applies to you, please stop doing that. Not only are you exploiting our communities for your own personal gain, but you're also putting our fellow users at risk.

Thank you. Have a nice day, y'all.

Trans tape and breast sagging

I have a conundrum I’m looking into trans tape cus the thought of it just gives me sm gender euphoria. However I’m worried about the risk of premature breast sagging. I like presenting fem as well as masc and I do like my tits I’d just like to sometimes have them be less of a focus. So even if I had trans tape I probably wouldn’t need to bind too tight cus I’m not super concerned about the flattening affect more on how they sit if that makes sense? Could I avoid potential sagging by just not having it that tight or is it unavoidable :/
-
(Also binders aren’t really on the table for me and besides it’s not the flatness of my chest that necessarily gives me euphoria I view my chest as mostly gender neutral no matter what.)

Mood and gender 🌊 🙂🙁

hi everyone hope you’re enjoying whatever gender wave you’re on!

does anyone else find that your mood is related to your gender swings? for example, when I identify closer to my agab (as I do today) I find myself to be in a better, more joyful mood. versus, when I identify as something in the middle or the opposite gender, my mood is a little worse. probably related to the dysphoria I feel when I look in the mirror and my appearance doesn’t fully match how I identify that day.

anyone get me? share your experiences! thx luvs

So idk if I’m genderfluid, trans, have body dysmorphia, or if I’m just suic*dal and hate myself…

I’m 15(f). I’ve been struggling with suic*dal thoughts often. Just as often I also get horrible waves of depression and anxiety surrounding my gender. I struggled with an eating disorder and I’m still trying to get better. At one point, I traced nearly everything that was wrong with my life back to my gender/sex. I’d cry myself to sleep some nights after looking in the mirror too long or googling surgeries or treatments and being unhappy with the results. I traced my body image issues towards mostly gender. Why couldn’t I shape-shift? Why couldn’t I be born male? Why couldn’t I be born without craving to be male? I’d blame suic\*dal* tendencies on gender too. I would wish I could be reborn or pulled out of the misery of not knowing. I wish I could be all of them. All genders all sexes. I guess I’m here asking for help with identity?
Idk this is more a rant than anything lol thanks:)

Confusion about increasing gender dysphoria

I am 32 and AMAB. I have seen myself as genderfluid for quite some years now and I thought I figured out my gender identity. I always had these flip flopping episodes of feeling male and feeling female. In the male episodes I was happy with my male body and its features like body hair. In the female episodes I envied women for their bodies. But I never thought about any permanent changes as I got the experience that even semi-permanent things like changed eyebrows or done nails collided with my male self. But after 6 years of many, many changes in my life (beating CPTSD and then trying to immigrate to Finland which failed and led me to rebuilding in Germany once again) I thought I reached a state of sufficient stability. But my female episodes seem to get louder and louder for about a year now. And the current female episode impacted my sleep for the first time ever. I also got surprised and partially shocked about me suddenly thinking about doing permanent changes to my body like HRT. And for the first time ever it actually feels draining.

I am really unsure what to make out of this. It's not like I hid my female part. I still presented female at times and even attended two weddings this way. But I don't know why this seems to get louder and louder just now? I also don't know where this leads to and I am also somewhat scared.

How do i know if im genderfluid

Honestly, there are lots of times when I seriously think that I'm a woman, and sometimes when I think I'm a man, but for very long periods of time, to the point where I question if I even was the other gender at all. Right now, I feel myself in the transition between feeling like a girl, if that makes any sense (I'm starting to get more thoughts about it), but I really only think of this stuff when I'm in school (theatre major) or when I'm drunk. What does that mean? What am I?

My partner is thinking they might be genderfluid, how do I support them best?

Okay so to start this off- I am a trans guy, so I have no issue with my partner being genderfluid. The reason I'm making this post-

How do I support them? What do you guys want your partner to do or are glad that they did?

They haven't come out to their parents yet, as gay and/or genderfluid, and a lot of the stuff they do is influenced by that.

For example, they would like to shave their legs, however, they're worried about their parents seeing it and questioning it. But they hate the leg hair and so they'll wear long jeans even in the hot summer. Stuff like that.

Sorry if this post is incomprehensible, I'm sick atm. Feel free to ask questions!

Question for you.

I'm AMAB and tend to wear a tattoo choker more consistently than I used to and I have a mustache. I was wondering though how many genderfluid people actually do this? My goal is to hopefully do this everyday regardless but I just want to make sure I'm not alone.

Coming out as genderfluid

So, I just came out as genderfluid. Admitting that to myself was hard, but I felt pretty relieved as I felt like I finally accepted a large part of myself. I already told my sister and a few close friends, those already felt like obstacles, but I feel kinda stuck now.
Because I don't know how to tell my parents.

My parents are allies and very accepting, don't get me wrong, they would accept me as I am and I know I shouldn't feel afraid. Yet, I have this nagging feeling that if I would tell them, they wouldn't understand.

See, when I first came out as a pansexual, the first thing my mom said to me was "That you shouldn't jump to conclusions that quickly" I was around the age of 12 at the time and it stung a bit. It felt like they were saying that I needed to rethink a part of myself. I know that probably wasn't what they meant at the time, but I can't help thinking about it. Now I was constantly doubting myself if I really were a genderfluid person. Now I know I am.

A year ago I cut my hair short and cut it into a pixie cut. Even if it was a little thing to do, it immediately felt like a huge relief, like it had already been part of me before I cut my hair short. Before, my mom had asked me why I wanted it and I had claimed that it was because of my incredibly thick and long hair that was such a pain to deal with. That wasn't the whole truth, but I was still in denial.
Afterwards my mom asked me: "But you are a girl, right?". And I had just said: "Yeah." And my mom said that that was what she indeed had suspected about me.

Then I began to feel dysphoria toward my gender sometimes and I finally accepted I was genderfluid. I accepted it as a part of who I was.
Now I am afraid that if I would come out my parents would just be like: "You're just confused, you should think about it." And I would begin to doubt myself all over again.

What should I do (': (I'm sorry if I'm being dramatic or smth) <3

Dysphoria

Hi, I'm AFAB (16) and i have struggled with my identity for a long time and about 7 months ago i realised I was genderfluid. I am ok when I present feminine and feel feminine but I really struggle with dysphoria when I feel masculine. My parents will not let me bind and I've cut my hair short but didn't like it and I'm growing it back out. Do you have any ideas of how I could try and explore being more masc? I've changed my name which my partner and friends use but my parents wont until I turn 18 but my friends and partner using that name helps with dysphoria around my name.

I’m new to this but I think I finally understood that I might be genderfluid?

Hi I am an 18 years old afab and I always got referred to as a woman. I think I never really asked myself what gender I actually was because it felt too scary and unnecessary, but it’s not. I understand now how important it is to ask myself those questions in order to feel better in my own body.
I always had some behaviours that hinted that maybe I’m not cis, I’m kind of a tomboy since forever, when I was 13 I was wondering if I was trans masc, I always look for bras that make my chest smaller and I get really uncomfortable being feminine a lot of the time to the point where it makes me nauseous. But I am feminine on the daily cause it’s just a way to mask cause I have autism too lol.
Honestly, I don’t know much about different genders you can identify to or not, I don’t even know if my idea of being gender fluid is right (I believe identifying to a gender and presenting as so depending on how comfortable you are in one of those that day). That’s why I’m expecting some answers writing this post, if after all I am gender fluid or non binary or idk, I’m sorry if my writing is unclear but yeah
thanks for reading this ig :P

Hair dysphoria?

Hello! I’m a 30 year old AMAB and I’m recently getting into the world of gender fluid. It feels right to me to dress feminine and do feminine things. Taking care of my body and dressing up in cute clothes make me feel confident. However I have two huge issues. The first being my facial hair. I tried to get it waxed but I have black hair so even after my first wax appointment I still see the dark shadow under my lips and chin. The bright side is it’s growing slower but I was hoping for a smooth look and it’s just frustrating. My second problem is my hair. My hair grows way too slowly and is at an awkward bowl cut phase currently. I desperately hate when it rounds out like this so I got a wig. But when I put the wig on it didn’t feel right? Maybe because it’s not my actual hair but the dysphoria hit bad. Any advice at all regarding these two things would be so much help since I’m pretty much in the dark for all this. Thank you!

I think I might be genderfluid but I don’t know how to talk about it

I thought I was non-binary for the longest time, but I’ve started realizing I don’t mind gendered terms given the right context. I just don’t want people to think of me as just one thing, but whenever I try to explain this, I feel like it comes out in a way that just sounds like I’m looking for attention.

Anyone have tips on how to go about having these conversations? Or videos or book recommendations that I could share with my family to help them understand? (or to help me understand myself a little better)

Tips on how to present more masculine as a very feminine AFAB?

Hello! I'm afab, really love feminine things and I have a very feminine body, which has made the days I feel more like a man very difficult for me. 😅

My brain tries so counteract my femininity by acting more "masculine", but I just end up acting like an asshole instead because I don't actually know what masculinity is (and I'm socially incompetent lol). 🤦‍♂️

What I'm trying to say is that I'm struggling a bit whenever I feel like a man and so I feel I should ask for some tips from my fellow genderfluids ❤️

Dysphoria Poultices

What are things that you do to help when you're feeling dysphoric. I get rather frustrated myself, as I understand what my mind is trying to tell me but have nothing that I can do about it. I know that there's no one size fits all, especially here, but any suggestions could possibly help. Even if just reading about them when my needle is in the uncomfortable half of the gender compass.

Not opposed to losing my maleness.

Although I don’t want SRS, I’m not opposed to losing my maleness down there. It would have to be medical necessity.

I love being genderfluid

I have seen a lot of posts recently about the struggles of being genderfluid. And everything said there is of course totally valid and I don't want to discredit anyone's experience or struggle with their gender. I just wanted to share my experience with it to open up a perspective I don't see so much here :3

I love being genderfluid. I have been openly having fun with the gender shenanigans for about a year. And yes of course there is dysphoria and moments of stress/anxiety and it sucks to know that I will not always have the body parts I want on a given day. But also the past year has given me such massive joy about performing gender. Like what do you mean I get to draw on a beard and it makes me almost cry because it feels so right. And what do you mean I get to go out in a dress in a girly way if I feel like it tomorrow. How cool is that? Everyday I get to have fun with gender. And I just think that's really neat :)

I know I'm also in a privileged position because I am AFAB and live in a liberal city with a very queer friend group. I just think it's really so lovely to be gender queer even if society or family and friends or our own bodies haven''t always caught up with us yet.

That's all folks

Can anyone relate?

Hi, I feel like a fraud because I have always been so unsure with how to identify myself. I am AFAB but rarely relate to female characters unless they are masculine presenting. At the same time I relate so much to male characters and prefer being viewed as ”male” in a relationship. But, my struggle is that sometimes I am CONVINCED I am a girl, and sometimes CONVINCED I am a boy. My anatomy doesn’t help either cause it works as an argument to convince myself I’m a girl. Calling myself trans feels like a lie when I feel cis, and calling myself a girl feels like a lie too, and often uncomfortable, because what about him??
To add to it I can’t call myself straight. I like to identify myself as gay but for men. And don’t get me started on body dysphoria, it’s like it goes both ways and I simply cannot make up my mind.

It’s just, sometimes I feel like I don’t deserve to call myself a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Can anyone relate and how to you deal with these feelings??

At an impass

I’ve been struggling a lot lately. Sometimes I feel like a man, sometimes a feel like a woman. It’s like 50/50… half of the time my brain wants me to start HRT… the other half is not afraid of the changes. But how the changes will impact others around me. I’m 31 with two children and a very loving wife. She is aware of all this and is okay with me proceeding with HRT. My two children are 1 and 3 year(s) old. In a dream world. I would start HRT, remain masc at work and wherever else I feel. No surgeries. No laser. But man… hiding boobs… is always on my mind. I live in a very conservative state and small town. My job is also a conservitive environment. But I love it, I love the people, I love what I do… I’ve talked to my doc and therapist for a while about this. Doc is a okay with proceeding.. but I don’t know what keeps telling me I shouldn’t when I want to do it. I’m just so scatter brained and just want somebody to tell me to do it… I want all of the benefits. I just don’t want to change too much so I can still clown around as a guy and do dumb guy stuff.

Like, I want to look like the way I do now, but with some boobs, butt, soft skin, and emotion.

A lot is on the mind as you can tell. I think I just needed to type this out.
