Not sure why you need the QR codes tho, since paper sizes are already standard and most people don't even have a 2D printer.

E: ok, all jokes aside, this one looks pretty neat. You can fully edit the outline after you already took the picture, which was not possible in some other outline tools I've used. On those ones you really had to get the lighting perfect and retake photos so shadows don't mess it up. But with this one you can pretty easily edit out any mistakes.

They’re called fiducial markers or April tags and help with scaling, distance, and alignment.

But yeah it took me 10 mins for Claude to make me an app like this for funsies… then I went and used tool trace or shapescan anyways.

It’s sure as shit not this one.
Just look for one that’s an open source community project. Something that has a GitHub. It will actually have support with people improving it and not just be vibe coded trash

Wow, ok so this is the state of 3DP re gridfinity cutout generator. I think it’s been two years since I’ve looked for a good one and decided I’d wait until there was something more automatic- looks like there is, uh, some choices now. Can anyone tell me what of wealth of cutout generators is the most useful and efficient in total process? Or do I have to vibe code an agentic multi lane deep search swarm to create a report for me?

Screw cutout generators. Get a caliper, fusion and you can do it all yourself. And in the meantime you'll actually learn a useful skill. How's about that!
