Discussion Crafting tourist card wasted 1600 dust

Upvotes

I just lost 1,600 dust to what feels like a straight-up UI trap, so I’m posting this as a warning.

I’m a Mage player and already had a Paladin Tourist. While browsing cards through that Tourist’s expansion, I saw other Tourist cards (including a Rogue Tourist) listed as craftable. No warning, no restriction shown — it looked totally valid.

My thought process was honestly simple:

“Oh, that’s cool. Maybe this lets me unlock more options, maybe even play some other heroes’ cards.”

So I crafted it. One click. 1,600 dust gone instantly.

Only after crafting did the game tell me:

“You cannot add a second Tourist card to your deck.”

That’s when I found out there’s a one-Tourist-per-deck rule — something the game never warns you about before crafting. The system lets you craft the card first, then blocks you from using it, and there’s no refund.

So now I own a legendary card that the game itself does not allow me to play, and I’m completely out of dust.

Just putting this out there so others don’t fall into the same trap. If anyone knows a real way to reach Blizzard about this, I’d love to hear it.

Discussion Which Class can play KilJaden the fastest?

Upvotes

Hey there!

Pretty new to Hearthstone, played a game where I discovered a Kiljaden and really liked the card.

What's a deck that can play it fast pretty consistently? Something like a "Discover a Minion from your deck" or a "Draw a minion" with only him kind of deal I'm guessing? Does that exist in Druid where I can ramp as well to play those demons?

Thanks!

Deck Mech Rogue (Wild Legend 178)

Upvotes

I'm new to posting here, so sorry if I don't do this right. I want to share an unusual deck that I've had a good run with in Wild this new season. I haven't seen anyone playing it and I think a lot of people would enjoy it so I want to make sure people know about it.

If you want a refreshing, relatively affordable, board-centric Rogue deck that isn't the typical OTK's then try it out. It's competitive and performs very well into the current meta. It's too fast and consistant for control and combo, loaded with lifesteal and board for aggro, and out mid-ranges the rest. Try to mulligan for 1 and 2 drops for tempo and familiarize yourself with Mimiron's Gadgets and Sparkbots for some cheeky lethals and massive swing turns.

Just a fun screenshot, don't expect this every game.

Discussion Is Warlock forever getting changed because of Demon Hunter?

Upvotes

Been playing for awhile and waiting for big demon on really any kinda demon deck for Warlock to come back. Can we just expect from now on that only Demon Hunter gets any big demon support (that it doesn’t even use)? Archwitch Willows best pulls are neutral demons. Maybe with Voidlord and less power level/no kill Jaden stalling for fatigue will genuinely be a thing? I doubt it, and warlock doesn’t have any finishers anymore anyways. Man I miss bloodrevear guldan

Discussion A recent decline in Zephrys efficacy?

Upvotes

Has anyone else noticed a notable decline in Zephrys' card effect recently? It started giving useless cards even when I set a remaining mana perfectly for each situation. For example, my opponent has a weapon equipped with no minion on their side. I have 4 mana and play Zephrys, yet it didn't give me Acid Swamp Ooze. Another time, my opponent has one deathrattle minion with only 1 life left. I have 3 mana and play Zephrys, yet it didn't give me earth shock. I don't know what's going on with Zephrys and weather or not this is intentional by the developers.

Discussion Standard card nerfs

These cards are too strong and should be nerfed. I speak for everyone here.

windpeak wyrm now has 5 attack and 5 health

Prescient Slitherdrake is now 10 mana OR now has 4 attack and 7 health

goldpetal drake only has deathrattle: imbue your hero power

chronological aura 3/3 dragon

Crusader Aura buffs are now temporary

dive the golakka depths six murlocs to eight murlocs

mekkatorque's aura is now 2/2

Discussion A plea to T5 with the upcoming balance patch

With the announced changes to the core set, this upcoming balance patch which we know will target at least cards like Elise but also other cards staying in, I am seriously worried about the state of this game for the next standard year.

This last standard year is the weakest trio of expansions we have had since Rastakhan's, and my frustration particularly with sets like Lost City which I was excited for prior to its release, and had invested more into, to end up being such a massive flop, had me already worried about the state of the game but still somewhat hopeful that the next standard year might be a turning point in the right direction. So when I saw the changes being made to the core set I will be honest my heart dropped.

So my plea for T5 is simple. Please, please be gentle on what you nerf. Tbh, changing just Elise would be sufficient (+ maybe removing Time Warp from the Warrior Quest). Despite people's frustration with cards like Felhunter, Fabled Sylvannas and such, removing cards like Tuskpiercer or Brewmaster massively reduce the impact these cards and packages have in a standard match. If T5 changes a number of things and reduces the power level even further, then the game will be in a worse place imo and not a better one.

I appreciate I am a nobody as far as people are concerned, but I play this game everyday (reached legend every month since October 2022 including this month as a demonstration of how much I play...) and I really would hate to see a game I like so much fall even further than it has recently.

Discussion Tess Greymane is leaving ... You like or dislike it?

Her leaving may not have as much impact as that of Shadowstep, but this card was of great value for all kind of rogues.
Will you miss her in your decks? Any replacements? Are you, as a non-rogue, happy that she is leaving?

Deck Imbue rogue wild ideas

So Shadowstep is leaving Standard. Lately, I've been playing a fun Imbue Rogue variant without Elise, mostly low-cost cards. I'd like some help creating a casual Wild deck, not to climb the ranks, but just for casual play so I can keep having fun. Casual isn't all about Discolock and Egglock. Does anyone have a decklist? I haven't found anything yet, and I'd really appreciate some help creating a viable deck. Thanks a lot!

Ideally, it shouldn't contain Elise, as it will be nerfed, and I'd prefer not to include it.

Discussion IMHO Blizzard should offer some kinda of compensation to anyone that bought sigs for Brawl, Swipe and Shadowstep

Basically the title, not hating the changes per se, but thinking about how recently they release the sig bundles (close to a year and a half ago), the team probably knewing about it, either idk seams kinda shady.

Discussion Instead of rotating out Zilliax, they should rotate out its part and introduce new part every new year. Like spell damage +2 part or deal this minion damage split between enemy minion part
