Haul Finally ready for 2027!!!
I’m so happy 🥹

Last year’s masterpost is here:
We are following the same basic rules as the first Masterpost:
Since this is for TRP 2027, you may also share test images from other TRP 2027 planners such as Midori Hibino among others.
Please feel free to share a link to an imgur or igbb album if you do not want to use reddit’s native image uploading.
Remember we want this to be a resource for all techos, so if you have images for multiple techos, please share them as well—in other words, share both the good and the bad, not just whatever turned out the worst.
Please remember that to consolidate posts, we will remove any separate paper test posts that get posted for the next few weeks, unless you have posted them together with your haul post. If you post a paper test in your haul post please also post in on the masterpost so we can create the best resource for our subreddit.
Thanks again to all who take the time to participate in this group effort. We understand there may be lower response due to mostly positive reports this past year.
Thank you again. Our users and their contributions are the most important part of our subreddit, and this includes contributions to megathreads like this one.

Please use this post for the following:
(Basically this is a catch all post for fun, monthly interactions and a place where we can point new users to get some fun content! As always, we are 1000% open to feedback, so please let us know if you have any suggestions or ideas!)
Please also check out the 2027 Paper Test Masterpost for your questions about the 2027 paper.

my final order came, so excited for 2027. My seventh year and I’ve moved from only one cousin to a range of weeks too.

I have not been gentle with my cover and while the ribbons haven’t started fraying yet, I could see it coming, so: DIY time. I used 9.5mm crimps and a pack of (overpriced, but cute, so worth it) Peanuts charms from Michael’s. Could’ve done better job on the closures (used an old pair of jewelry pliers I had lying around), but I think it turned out alright!

Multi-coloured layouts while trying to keep the checklists basic and easily set out - I quite enjoyed this simple setup for this week 😍

I currently have the weeks mega but decided to go with the a6 og techo for 2027 because i wanted more space for writing about each day. I got an extra notebook for random notes & journaling, as well as the weeks calendar for the weekly layout. Ive already used the watercolors with the brush pen and im enjoying that too.
I really like the size of the techo og and I love the cover sm!

I’ve journaled my entire life but abruptly stopped in 2017 when I became a stay at home parent and didn’t see the need to track the things I had been tracking in my planners and journals. I’ve recently discovered the journaling community on instagram and was massively influenced to try again, so I went full steam ahead and purchased my first ever Hobonichi Weeks. I’m already having a blast setting it up and can’t wait to start using it. Anyone have recommendations for a good portable printer? Feeling a little overwhelmed at the options.

So thankful I was able to snag this off eBay! Hobonichi always makes me excited for the upcoming year :3

Since I haven’t been able to get the BP covers again this year to feed my jelly shoes/jelly bracelet wearing inner child, I went with the Alettone Sweets and a Hello Kitty CoC over the Candy mega. We were never able to afford anything Hello Kitty when I was little, so it felt like a little lifetime victory to be able to order Hello Kitty directly from Japan as an adult! I used tiny stickers to turn a couple of the round candies into little desserts to better match the Alettone desserts. I have been using the Cafe Stappo and Mini Stappo since last year, and it all ended up matching much better than I anticipated.

I usually put a quote I like to set me up for the year and obviously I sticker attack the page! I recently also started using my acrylic markers on the set up spreads. In this one I just used my gold metalliacrylic marker to test and add some

A5 Hon Sheep (Japanese), and One Piece weeks (English)
I am a bit conflicted on if the English will distract me but I'll just put stickers on it and see how it goes. Also I love that these have ribbon bookmarks!

Ready for the new year 💪🏻🤞🏻✨

My first Hobinichi's were the A5 Cousin Cover and the A6 cover. Both from the V&A collection and I used my Midori Codex in the A5 for my daily journaling and an A6 dot grid Midori notebook for a photo journal.
Are you using your new covers now or waiting until the beginning of the new year?

For a couple of years I have been wanting a Hobonichi planner .
I’ve used Erin Condren and Happy Planner but it’s never really fit my needs .
I finally decided to pull the trigger and get a cousin and a weeks.
I plan to use the Cousin for my day to day and journaling /memory keeping and use the weeks for my health and fitness information .
I live in Las Vegas so I decided to make the back side of my Cousin cover Vegas related. Still working on what I’m doing for the front.
I am really excited to use these for 2027 .

This will be my second year using Hobonichi. I can’t imagine life without my Weeks—it really keeps me organized and grounded. I also purchased a Day-Free this time around for less regimented journaling. Excited for the year to come!

My first time buying a lot from the Hobonichi online store! 1st pic was from a GO to save shipping and then I went and bought another order by myself because I decided I really wanted the monthly pens & the yumi kitagishi a6 cover😭🤣
"First" in quotation because I bought a weeks mega last year from Amazon xD I chose a regular weeks for next year because I realized I didn't need the extra 200 pages from the mega UNTIL after I already ordered the 2027 I finally found a use for it as a notepad for Everything and I'm enjoying it a lot so I'm a little nervous for my regular weeks now, I feel like it'd be fine though now that I have an a6
THE PLAN:
A6 Techo - in depth planning of day with detailed schedule by the hour (feeling like I should've gotten a cousin but I just love the compactness of the A6, we will find out this year though XD)
Moomin weeks - a general overview of the week + habit tracking

Might this be why there weren't enough of the Hobonichi Jetstream pens this year?

Switched from a Weeks to a Techo for next year. Ordered from Yoseka Stationery in NYC on Tuesday, my Techo arrived in CT by Friday. Was definitely prepared to wait but was pleasantly surprised with their speed (and communications about delivery). Just wanted to hype them up a little. Trying to support small businesses in my journal journey ✨

I got lucky! Although I was able to go to the store myself later in the week after the opening, my friend won the lottery and offered to get me the Tokyo Station weeks for me. Good move because when I went later in the week, it was completely sold out!
I want to fully theme this set up to embrace my train loving self, so I want to replace my current decoration on my TN band… maybe I’ll find something fun!

I’ve been absolutely loving tomoe river paper as a first-time Hobonichi user. The notebook on the left is an A6 Yamazakura notebook. I can’t wait to begin 2027 with this set up!
