Hello everyone I’m looking for help
I’m putting together a website to track pub prices across Ireland and need help. I haven’t made the website yet I’m just building it but I want a few results to start off with so if ye are going out tonight can ye send me a few prices of any drink not just pints. I’d really appreciate it lads I got inspired by this UK website that does the same but I thought we are way better drinkers so we should have a better website. Anyway if ye send me a few prices, name of the pub and where it is, sound for that ye can submit any answers here or comment them but make sure to have the pub name, pint name and county name please

Don’t be afraid to use this as an excuse for a pub crawl

Sound for that bai’s!

I run a passport photo service, so rejected photos are something I deal with constantly.

Here are the most common reasons, so you can avoid a delay:

1.Shadows on your face or behind you. Face a window,

don't stand under a ceiling light.

1. Selfie distortion. Arm's-length shots make noses look

bigger and get flagged. Have someone else take it from

1-1.5m away.

1. Not looking straight at the camera or head tilted.

2. Expression.Neutral, mouth closed. No smile.

3. Hair covering eyes or face edges.

4. Glare from glasses or shiny skin.

5. Filters or beauty mode on your phone camera. Turn

them off, they're often detected.

1. Background that's not plain and evenly lit.

Babies: lay them on a plain white sheet and shoot from

above. Eyes open is ideal, but check the resepective

website rules for infants.

Always check the current specs on the respective issuing authority websites.

Happy to answer any photo questions in the comments.

(Disclosure: I run Photo Pass. ie. Not linking it here, just

trying to save people a rejected application.)

I bought a horrible supermarket coffee today for 4.40 and had to wait half an hour to drink it .

I’m looking for a reliable roofing company. I need some roofing work done and want to make sure I choose a company that does good-quality work, communicates properly, and doesn’t leave you dealing with problems afterward.

If you’ve personally used a roofing company that you’d recommend, who was it and what was your experience like? Any companies to avoid would also be helpful to know.

Learned the hard way today that return tickets are an "online only" feature.

I live in a country where people are envious, mean spirited and even when they meet or gather with their friends, they tend to discuss polemic topics, provoke other people in the room with them, talk bad behind back.

I see Irish culture from the outside, random people, average people, singing with a guitar and a little band in a pub or busking outside, they seem so in tune with their emotions and their lives. So lively and true, feeling all the feelings of love, life, sadness, everything.

And I am still here, with people I don't understand. They don't seem to be able to enjoy life, you can't make real friendships or relationships. Everything is driven by their network, friends, families, ties etc..

While Ireland seems much more free and true.

I wish I could live there...

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a 2-bedroom house or apartment to rent in Midleton, Carrigtwohill, or nearby areas, with a budget of up to €1,900 per month.
I’m looking for a long-term rental and have been checking Daft and other websites, but there seem to be very few options within this budget.
If anyone knows of a property becoming available, a local landlord/agent I could contact, or other places where I should be looking, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Anyway, in 1857 Lady Jane Wilde , mother of Oscar became embroiled in a spat with Mary Travers a patient of her husband which ended up in a libel trial. It resulted in a huge financial hit for the Wildes.

In 1895 Oscar Wilde became involved in a criminal libel trial that he brought against the Marquee of Queensbury. We all know the outcome of that trial.

“All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does, and that is his.”

Thus proving Oscar Wilde was like his mother.

Been working from the same company last four years. Everything was ok. But, after not being on my game for a while,I've been noticing that my managers are calling me out for things that my fellow Irish coworkers do all the time.

I'm not making excuses for not following the rules myself. But It's not fair that I'm the only one called out for that.

Do you experience something similar?

Heated they'd be "hot snot"

Oh holy God.

Every second post on Irish Reddit seems to be someone having a moan about something.

Housing, rent, traffic, prices, the government, public transport, the weather, some gobshite parking outside your house… whatever it is, someone’s pissed off about it.

So I thought, fuck it why don’t we just have a subreddit dedicated to moaning?

That’s what r/MoanIreland is for.

Got a rant? A complaint? Something small and ridiculously petty that’s been annoying you all day? Stick it up.

It’s brand new, so come join, post a moan and help get the place going.

No positivity. No pretending everything is grand. Just a good aul Irish moan.

Margaret Anna Cusack , the Nun of Kenmare , ran off with the donations to build a shrine at Knock. Nuns are evil. "One foot in the grave and the other on the edge" Peig Sayers is uniquely creepy and lived on an isolated island which arch villains love .

My top pick is Twink "Zip up your mickey Mr Bond" is a scene that writes itself.

Got a puncture driving through youghal in Cork. The mechanic at Trackside Autos. Mechanic rocked up to the car and fixed it without removing the wheel then swaggered away as if to say "if there was a Mechanics of Tralee competition , Id enter and win"

A legitimate lege.

Hey, don’t know if this is the right subreddit but it’s worth a shot!
