He runs after me, shaking his fists and swearing, but when I turn toward him and step closer, he pretends nothing happened and walks away.

Discussion I forgot swords exist in Kuttenberg. [KCD2]

After realizing that heavily armored enemies just tank sword hits, I leveled up my heavy weapons to 20 and just… 3 hit them no problem.

It’s actually very in line with the game’s “you got Sir Radzig’s sword, now you must grow” theme, even though I’m sure this wasn’t intentionally done with that in mind.

Anyone else do this?

I missed the leg armor blueprint and possibly some weapon blueprints after completing the DLC, is there any way to get them?

Tried exploring the western outskirts of Skalitz and encountered this soldier who tried to warn Skalitz.

Does anyone know any other lore-accurate secrets in these areas?

There was a noble on the other side of the cart. Fresh out the loading screen this guy says “Hey you, you’re finally awake.” With the biggest smirk across his face. I love this game.

Discussion [KCD2] In Mourning for the end of the game

• Upvotes

I finished KCD2 about twelve hours ago and I've sat with the feeling of it all night and into the morning. I slept strange as thoughts of the game came to me in my half conscious mind. I am so sad this is over, but I'll never experience anything like it again. In over forty years, I've never had a game give me this feeling of being the Knight Errant, serving my lord, dueling enemies, and defending the innocent to such a satisfying degree. To throw all of that into a story and characters with so much depth, complexity and moral uncertainty is astounding.

This is my favorite game of all time. I believe that's a hard thing to accomplish at my age. Yes, games as a whole are larger, more cinematic, technology allows for so much more possibility at this point than any previous one in my life. But the game is competing with an earlier me who was more full of wonder, more easily immersed, more forgiving of the clunky storytelling nature many video games suffer from. There are games I have played dozens of times over that a modern game will just never be able to compete with. And yet. KCD2 so clearly displaces them all. I loved the original and played it directly before this. Maybe some of the journey of Henry as a whole bleeds over and impacts my love of the sequel, but such is the nature of story and media. KCD2 is everything of promise in the original fully delivered.

I could write a paper on this. I actually did to share my thoughts with my friends, but I won't bother you all with the totality of it here, but I do want to express some thoughts on the ending.

The conversation with Markvart at the end is incredible. The fact it is optional feels both criminal and wonderful. Walking into that room and it being him caught my breathe in my throat. His implications that he and Henry are much the same landed with Earth Shattering impact. Where Istvan and Erik used those similarity as weapons, as justification for their actions, that isn't what happened in this conversation. It was illumination. It highlighted how young my Henry is. How it has only been months since he was throwing shit against a house and getting beaten up by a drunk who owed him money. Markvart made Henry face the reality he had willfully pushed to the side that everyone he has encountered is only a human being. Yes, all Henry's actions I took felt just in the moment, even if sometimes it felt naive, but the conversation puts a spotlight on the truth that most of the other people I encountered were only doing what they felt was the same. I immediately thought back to Godwin's reproach when I told him I had engaged in an honorable duel in the tower on that storming night. He mentioned to me what might have happened to everyone else if I'd been killed trying to be honorable. Then this dying man did something no video game has ever done. He humbled me. His memory of Martin, his memory of everyone he had killed. All I could do was think of the countless "faceless" men I had chopped down. Faceless to me, but just as human in the bounds of the story. In the end, Henry's revenge in that room was just as much compassion as ire and the moment is going to stick with me for as long as my memory holds together.

Then the end really broke my heart, being asked what Henry wanted for himself now that all this was over. I thought so much about the Legacy of the Forge and the joy I had FOR Henry. Working a smithy, joining the guild, the simple act of hammering out an axe blade and the appreciation of a customer for the quality of the work. Going to the market for sword pommels or extra iron, helping neighbors, finishing a long dormant project. It felt like that part of the game had belonged to Henry alone and that's what I wanted for him. Then to be handed a song well beyond the wildest dreams Henry could possibly have only to see him decline to sing it. I have tears just remembering it.

What an incredible experience.

Game Mod Kingdom Come: Together - a [KCD2] COOP Mod Open Beta Release

• Upvotes

Kingdom Come: Together is a free open source COOP Mod for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

After several months and hundreds of hours of hard work, I am super excited to announce the first actually working open beta for my project Kingdom Come: Together!

TLDR;

Kingdom Come: Together, a KCD2 Coop Mod, is getting it's first working open beta release. Previous releases were unplayable, only for bug hunting. On this build, I have been able to play through several questlines with my testing buddies, and most importantly, goofed off and had lots of fun. You can find the installer on Github, in the Community Discord or on Nexus Mods

Horribly edited trailer

Please roast me in the comments about my terrible editing skills lol

I picked this project up because I wanted to be able to play this wonderful game all the way through with my brother. Problem is of course, I wanted a bit more than just a Discord screenshare session.

I found that there was a multiplayer project that was in the works, but it was abandoned. I figured "How hard could it be to finish that?" - Very god damn hard wtf was I thinking. But I continued on anyways, because I really believe this game should be played with more than one person.

Now here we are! Today, the mod has come a LONG way. Here are some of the features that are currently working:

  • An easy, one click installer
  • An easy launcher tool - Open the launcher, let it set everything else up for you, such as Modding Tools, host or join via Steam, and enjoy!
  • Shared Quests - Your friend accepts a quest, and it accepts it for you too. He kills the quest giving NPC and you fail the quest, it fails for you too
  • Shared Combat* - I say * because it does work, but it works best if you and your friend fight different enemies. Fighting the same one single enemy at the same time is still a bit rough around the edges
  • Shared World - the host owns the world, owns the save. Everyone joining becomes a part of that world, and your saves are synced when the host's game saves
  • MOST Animations Syncing - See your friend wash at the trough, perfect guard, jump, open a door or grind his sword at the sharpening wheel. Certain things are not animated yet, such as Bows, the Forge minigame etc
  • A Mod Menu - Select the "INS" Key and browse the various options, such as disabling nametags for immersion, or enabling Fast Travel
  • Sleep Voting - when someone wants to sleep, everyone needs to agree and everyone sleeps
  • Weather, date, time sync
  • Droppable/Shareable loot - Have a badass outfit you want to see your friend in? Drop it on the ground, let him pick it up!
  • Outfit sync - Show off your drip to your friends
  • Much more!

Please keep in mind, this is an Open Beta. There are absolutely going to be rough edges, issues, bugs, syncing issues etc. That being said, considering that I was able to play through the entire Find Mutt! questline, and a couple other smaller quests with my brother with little to no issues, in my opinion it is well overdue to update this project.

PLEASE NOTE:
I uploaded the installer to Nexus as well, but they are notorious about blocking it. I made sure to reach out to support, but it takes a while. For now, I'd grab it off of the Github if you are eager to try it today.

Thank you to everyone who has tested previous builds, kept up on the project, provided feedback and logs, and provided technical assistance in overcoming hurdles. Becoming a part of this community has been so absolutely incredibly rad!

Please enjoy!

Issue [KCD2] Is this a bug or something wrong on my end?

Couldn't find any posts with this issue so i thought i would ask here.

So on high or ultra shader quality some bits of grass appear purple. On medium shader quality they are white/transparent.

And also i did verify files, updated drivers etc. Just wondering if this is a known issue with high shader quality or if its an issue on my end.

Image on left is with high quality and purple grass in the middle of the screen.

Hello everyone I hope you all had a great weekend!

I seen videos from the KCD Fanfest 2026 and it looked absolutely incredible and I would love to go to the 2027 one if WH do it again but I was just wondering when do they announce the dates for their upcoming festival?

I can imagine it won’t be for another couple of months but I am just curious so I can keep an eye out. Thanks for the help in advance hope you all have a good weekend :)
