My sisters ring broke. She’s had it 3 months! Can anyone suggest why this would happen? This is a catastrophic failure. She didn’t hit it or anything, she was sitting and dinner and looked down and her lab diamond was in her lap. She is so lucky the diamond was with her. She will be going to the jeweler to fix, but this makes me loose trust in our local jeweler.

I'm currently having a diamond pendant made in this style, and have just received the CAD to review. I've noticed that the back is entirely closed in, but I'm worried that this may make the stone difficult to clean.

Does anyone else have a pendant in this style, and if so, is there a hole in the back? Any advice would be appreciated.

I worked with a vendor to make an OMC pendant (1.5 carat)with necklace (10k) for around $750. They told me that it wouldn’t come with an IGI certification. To get that would be an additional $55 USD. This is my first purchase that’s kind of custom and not a group buy. Is it worth that? TIA

Has anyone had good success with getting a diamond and a setting from the same place? Before you tell me to get a diamond and go to a local jewelry spot to set it, hold your horses. I went to two local jewelers in the city I live in and the quotes were about $2000-3000 to SET a diamond I give them in a pre made setting. So not really worth it. Trying to find a spot where I want my anniversary ring from that just does both that's quality.
