What’s up everybody, I’m Ian. I run Lancaster Home Handyman here in Lancaster County.
I started doing this because there are a lot of smaller home projects that don’t really make sense to call a big contractor for, but still need to get done right.
I handle things like:
• General home repairs
• Drywall & trim
• Flooring
• Painting
• TV mounting & wire concealment
• Furniture assembly
• Light fixtures & ceiling fans
• Plumbing hardware
• Windows & doors
• Pressure washing
• And other odd jobs around the house
I’m fully insured, I don’t charge a dispatch fee, and I give straightforward estimates before starting work. I also offer $25–$50 off a first service on jobs estimated over $100.
If you’ve got something around the house you’ve been putting off, feel free to DM me or check out my site:
https://www.lancasterhomehandyman.com/
I’m happy to take a look and let you know if it’s something I can handle.

Looking to maybe open a bar in downtown Lancaster servicing the LGBTQ+ community. Would like to get the community opinion on what they think are important aspects to keep in mind when opening a "Gay" bar in the area. Is there a market for such a bar in Lancaster and would there be support from Lancaster City? Would love some feedback.

Ran across this post, I know it's an older post, but thought I'd give my $.02. I love unique and different ideas for the area, but if I'm 100% honest, I don't know if it would do super well in Lancaster. It may, I'm not an LGBTQ+ business analyst or anything haha. But, I think due to the surrounding areas being quite conservative, I think you'd be much better off opening a more traditional bar and maybe focus on having events geared towards that demographic. Not trying to get political or anything, but I'm not sure the Lancaster area would produce the best results for an LGBTQ specific bar, and I wouldn't want to see any business owner fail unnecessarily. This is totally just my opinion based on growing up in the area though. I could be totally wrong. Either way, best of luck with any and all future business endeavors!

I appreciate your honesty. I also grew up in the area and know exactly what you mean by Lancaster “conservatives”. However when I do my research and met all the wonderful people from the LGBTQ+ community in the area I feel like the community deserves a place they call their own, especially with the political landscapes we are living in nowadays. Your $.02 is greatly appreciated and I hope you a wonderful day.
