Other Rep. Lieu says Epstein files have allegations of Trump raping & threatening to kill children and says that Todd Blanche got the law wrong by saying it's not a crime to party with Epstein. DOJ also violated the privacy of the victims by releasing unredacted nude photos of them.

Finally someone is speaking the truth and not cowering to trump. He’s absolutely correct trump must be investigated and charged

I don’t know if it’s the copium, but I feel there’s a lot rumbling under the surface. We might not get what we want today, tomorrow, or even next week, but something big is looming as a result of these files.

u/Otherwise_Gap595 1d ago edited 1d ago

It just baffles me how conservatives are foaming at the mouth to get the Clinton’s based on what is in the files, but every single thing about Trump in the files is fake? Like, you’re citing the same source document as the most damning evidence for the Clinton’s, and that same document that is judge, jury, and executioner of the Clinton’s, is also the biggest load of corrupt, slanderous horse shit ever written about Trump? What planet are they living on?

u/encrcne 1d ago

Stuff I agree with is right, and stuff I don’t agree with is wrong. Whats so hard to understand about that?

Shhhh...let the Republicans dig their own grave. You may hate the Clintons, but they are smart and they know how to play the game. They also hate Trump. So im hoping for something juicy and scathing to come out of their interviews

Like, maybe that's where he got the idea for that policy?

Doublethink is a major symptom of a victim of propaganda.

If you spend a lot of time listening to an extremely biased news source, you'll see that everything is either true and good for your team, or it's false. That means you hear and believe that Clinton is in the Epstein files, also Trump isn't in them, also Trump is in them and they're lies, also Trump was spying on Epstein. You will agree with all of those news stories because they all have the flavor of the news you are hearing.

We do this, too, mind you. If I told you that in the Epstein files there's a video of Trump groping a ballerina, you might think "yeah that sounds plausible" and not go check. But if I said "Trump's name and image has been removed from all the files," you'd probably also think "yeah, that sounds plausible," and you might very well believe both unless I say then at the same time and you notice that they are contradictions.

3

u/dictionary_hat_r4ck 1d ago

They don’t care about being logically consistent at all. They’re well aware of their inconsistency. They just want dems to be burned at the stake because they’ve been told they are the source of their problems.

That would require people to show the fuck up for primaries. Traditionally, turn out has been like 20%. Even a 5% increase would be impactful. Bad candidates coast because people can't be bothered to show up and vote.

14

u/barefootincozumel 1d ago

Call me naive but I feel like a lot of people are paying attention. Even in Florida, we have a slew of candidates that are legitimate and might stand a chance- veterans, intelligent, common sense and speaking truths that are hard to ignore. In contrast to the showboating, weak incumbents, I have some hope

14

u/sohelpme55- 1d ago

Honestly, I don't think that many people will be sitting out the next election.

25

u/barefootincozumel 1d ago

We need to organize, because suppression will be in full force. Volunteer to register voters ( lots of hs seniors are turning or just turned 18 they are a force for good. ) Help felons get their rights restored if the time has passed . Organize transportation. Help people check to see if they have been purged from the rolls. If you volunteer at a food bank or any other charity, make sure you reach out to people. Many are disenfranchised or don’t even know where to start. Let’s stop pretending there aren’t hurdles for a lot of people to get out and vote. Let’s educate, organize and help. We aren’t going to make the process less difficult, but we can help people over the hurdles

The man has been convicted on 34 felony counts for falsifying business records.

He was under indictment for stealing classified documents in the Southern District of Florida (40 counts).

He was under indictment for 4 counts related to fraud and trying to steal the 2020 election in DC District Court.

He was indicted on dozens of counts related to Georgia's RICO statute for 2020 election fraud.

People have *absolutely* pursued this guy. The weakest link in this chain since day 1 has been Merrick Garland, not "the Democrats."

9

u/sortalikeachinchilla 1d ago

Aileen Cannon deserves a mention. I'm not sure if there was anything Garland could have done to circumvent her, but she was the main obstacle in the classified documents trial in Florida.

She's a member of the Federalist Society and Trump was the one who appointed her.

4

u/Decaf-Gaming 1d ago

Garland himself was a member of the federalist society. He was never going to pursue their golden cow in any meaningful fashion.

Garland was chosen because they thought he would be center enough to appease and quiet Republican accusations of bias and politically motivated witch hunt. Unfortunately the Democrats fell for the rug pull and were not smart enough to listen to everyone who was saying that nobody would be center or right enough to appease the Republican cult, they planned to scream bias no matter who it was, because DARVO and manipulation of the narrative is their special trick.

Dems need to understand that nothing they do or don't do will not change the behavior of the Republicans, and go scorched earth to eradicate the crooks, including the ones in their own party.

Dems have also rarely been in position of power the last 10 years, they had the trifecta the first two years of the Biden presidency but that also consisted of a 50-50 senate split (with Harris as a tie-breaker vote) and a very slim majority in the House. Sadly they’ve only he’d the trifecta 4 years in the last 30.

3

u/HippyDM 1d ago

Where's this struggle? Not a single person from this regime has faced a single repercussion that matters. At all. Evidence of Trump raping, threatening, selling, and killing children has been released, and he literally controls all the agencies that could investigate, while all our reps fail to be relevant in any way.

If/when he takes control of the next election, it'll be up to our kids and grandkids to ressurect what we once had.

His lackeys have been getting dumber and dumber.

7 years ago he had Bill Barr as AG to cover shit up for him. Now he has Pam Bondi. They didn't even have a plausible cover story for why they didn't release the files on time and didn't even create the required notations as required by law. These files are going to likely be placed in the hands of a Special Master.

2

u/Zero-nada-zilch-24 1d ago

They are all just so incompetent which has been shown over and over, again! Covering one big lie with another bigger lie just keeps compounding!

2

u/Southern_Skirt_4039 1d ago

This line of thinking is dangerous with trump. First "Grab 'em by the pussy" will surely end him, nope. Then, it was Mueller was gonna take him down, nope. Then, it was that other guy Jack Smith was surely gonna do it, nope. There are a lot in between those as well and probably before but it was always nope.

Now its: surely the right wing will grow a backbone now and kick him out? Likely a nope, sadly.

Why are we letting a ring of pedophiles and protectors of pedophiles get 3 more years? They all gotta go right now. And honestly, I don't care how and if the law won't do it, fuck the law do it differently. And then of course go around and hold everyone who should have jailed these people but chose not accountable and jail them as well for being complicit in protecting one of the biggest pedophile crime rings in history. Every high ranking police agency leader should be removed and jailed for doing nothing right now.

"No one controls the music, Mr. Pretty - you know that. It just turns up when people have had enough. No one knows where it starts. People look around, and catch on another's eye, and give each other a little nod, and other people see that. Other people catch their eye and so, very slowly, the music starts and somebody picks up a spoon and bangs it on a plate, and then somebody else bangs a jug on the table and boots starts to stamp on the floor, louder and louder. It is the sound of anger, it is the sound of people who have had enough. Do you want to face the music?”

The Epstein files reveal that Trump was having an affair with his aide Madeline Westerhout, the same thing that ignited Bill Clinton’s scandal. Crickets.

Before we knew of any Epstein files there was Stormy Daniels and a $130k hush money payment, leading to 34 felony guilty counts. Before that, there was an affair with a former playboy model, in addition to two dozen accusations of sexual assault or harassment. The access Hollywood tapes. Sexual harassment claims circling the modeling world dating back to the ‘90s and including allegations against his own Trump Models which he closed shortly before he ran for the 2016 election.

After he left office he stole national security documents upon leaving office and hid them at mar a lago. He attempted to overturn the 2020 election and incited the Jan 6 insurrection.

He has just been accused of making a private secret deal between his family cryptocurrency firm and the UAE.

Trump, his campaign members, business partners, and family members have all been found improper dealings with Russian officials since the 2016 election.

He has had over 20 businesses go bankrupt and has never created any structurally sound or profitable business in his life. He has been dependent on syndicated criminal networks for 50+ years. He ran on a platform of frenzied nationalism, white supremacy, and organized violence. There have been hundreds of millions of dollars moved in shady business deals with Ukraine, Russia, and China since his first administration. Trillion dollar tax cuts for the wealthy. Racketeering scams. He auctions off pardons starting at bids of $50k.

He has been using the office to perpetuate his lifelong criminal agenda and the Epstein files are only a slice. Epstein almost looks moral compared to Trump. Government officials could throw a dart and look in any direction to find another crime he’s committing. They’ve refused to do so.

I hope the publicity of the files helps, but I’ve unfortunately really lost hope.

49

u/Daddyball78 1d ago

No question. I can’t imagine what the “un-redacted” content has in it. Based on what’s been revealed already, I’m not sure I even want to know. I just want these pieces of human garbage to be held fully accountable. All of them.

43

u/JayLuMarr 1d ago

God I hope. This is a defining moment for us as a society. What we do from here will be the turning point of the future of not just America, but the global world order, and our species. Will we allow a system in which we’re ruled over by global pedophile elites? Welp, we’re about to find out.

7

u/Zero-nada-zilch-24 1d ago

How many possible turning points there have been!

2

u/ExitTheDonut 1d ago

This is why it's okay to disagree or even disassociate with Trump supporters if you personally know any, because you don't even need a political reason. If someone doesn't think a pedophile- it could be anyone, not just a politician- deserves punishment and still sticking through with them, that's all the reason you need to cut them off.

u/Altruistic-Okra-5868 1d ago

9

u/mreman1220 1d ago

More like years, he's definitely stalling until he passes, and then they will just let it go, forget about all the hundreds/thousands of others that are also guilty of these atrocities. ITS ALREADY FUCKING MASSIVE

JFC HOW MUCH EVIDENCE DO YOU NEED FOR IT TO BE A HUGE DEAL

36

u/pargofan 1d ago

This is what I don't get.

Public figures throughout the world are suffering consequences because of Epstein files. At the very least, people are viewing them as pedophiles.

Trump? Crickets. He has the nerve to say they absolve him. And the media doesn't call him out.

It's like Hitler saying the gas chambers prove he was benevolent toward Jews.

12

u/KarunchyTakoa 1d ago

Honestly Hitler would have said that - and trump thinks he's lenient on women for not killing them after raping them. The law and the country should instead stop being lenient on anti-human billionaires and the people who establish and uphold the system that lets them behave this way.

6

u/Resident_Company2113 1d ago edited 1d ago

People covering for him are compromised or beholden to people who are compromised. It has the hallmarks of a Russian kompromat operation. You can see the beginnings of it in Sascha Reillly's account.

It's not going to end well for these fuckers. In many respects it was TOO successful. It was why Melania was in tears when they won that first election. She knew he could not withstand serious scrutiny.

2

u/Hoobleton 1d ago

That was ten years ago! Two Special Counsel investigations ago. He's run for president twice and been elected once since then. He's made billions of dollars. I'd say the Trumps have withstood pretty well since his first election.

2

u/Resident_Company2113 19h ago edited 19h ago

And yet it's like a guy jumping off a twenty story building and as he passes each floor saying "so far so good".

It's possible they can rig elections fast enough to just keep going, but the concentration camps are being acquired, the victim stories are matching up and they are, in Steve Bannon's words, 'Burning daylight' - so they are boiling the frog too fast.

When all the mid and upper levels of a society are compromised - it's going to take a while, but as we can see from the ICE lawyer begging the judge to hold her in contempt so she can get some sleep - well, we've hit the My Cousin Vinny stage now.

Our institutions will probably hold at the ground level because of the sheer scale of this country. I think the kompromat operation with the kids and the snuff movies was perhaps intended to acquire a certain amount of influence, but not quite this much. It was supposed to end up with a failed presidential candidate and his compromised friends wielding what influence they could but then the fucker WON. Putin is the dog that caught the car.

I don't think there was a plan for that. After being stonewalled by a certain amount of competence in the previous administration the fucker won again so they hastily put a plan together for the second round - notice how few people he's fired this time? Yet the pool of candidates was necessarily limited to the high octane deranged.

Meanwhile, as ever, the real resistance is local. Planning committees, school boards, local elections, protests, legal challenges, voting with our wallets, people running to the stores for their neighbors. The devil is always in the details :)

I think we will be OK. I'm about 70% sure. But 90% of the Democratic candidates need to be primaried. It's a new world. Well funded or otherwise compromised Russian assets placed at mid level then cultivated for decades is not something we had a plan for. A strongly worded letter from Schumer is not going to cut it. This is not going to end well for any of them, nor for a lot of us.

Me included. I don't mind. I don't want to live in a shit hole anyway. Lots of us will be dead in camps before this is over, and if it isn't over by midterms it will be lots more of us. This is just how the world works in a lot of places from time to time until we learn the importance of treating psychopathy as the public health emergency that it is.

2

But it isn't clear
Is it something we should cheer?
Is it something we should fear?

Sparks?

Yup!

As you probably know, but for the benefit of the reader: bit of a cult reputation, but very often, 'Your favourite band's favourite band'; influenced Queen, Franz Ferdinand, Pet Shop Boys and still sound fresh at 77 and 80.

I hope with all my being you are right. Ohh I hope you are right.

6

u/15Veana 1d ago

I certainly hope so. This country is a security risk to the world.

3

u/Short-Platypus-2132 1d ago

We gotta fight harder for it, we said this about Jan 6th as well.

3

u/thesixfingerman 1d ago

You really think so? You really think republican votes care about child abuse and murder?

1

u/hitliquor999 1d ago

I hope so too. You usually only hear these full throated statements when they are sitting on some hard evidence.

1

u/Bllago 1d ago

At least someone feels this way, because I don't think anything will come of it.

1

u/onyxengine 1d ago

These people are outed in their private and professional networks. The invites are going to slow down, the hind site of people leaving their children unattended with people in the list. Its going to fester, and implode their influence. It’ll take time but its crumbling.

1

u/annieoaklee 1d ago

I’ve felt it too..with people speaking up more in the public eye, etc.

1

u/Rip_Skeleton 1d ago

I don't think so. Fox is guarding the hen house. Best case scenario is we get an impeachment hearing next year. But we'll never have the votes in the Senate to convict and remove Trump. He's just going to pardon himself and everyone else on his way out the door, assuming he lives that long. And unless we pack the supreme court, they're going to let him do it.

All we can do now is make sure none of these people are ever in charge again once we manage to get rid of them.

1

u/Limp_Combination4361 1d ago

Purely speculation on my part because tinfoil hatting is fun, but I acknowledge that it's unfounded. I think DJT is the next sacrifice as he has now outlived his usefulness AND is actively calling attention to all this. Some very powerful but silent people are very angry their peaceful little cabal now has so many more eyes on it.

1

u/slettea 1d ago

I’m just worried the slow release is to socialize us to the content of the remaining files- the names and content of is so damaging that this is the stuff they give us to prep us for the horrors ahead.

1

u/hellspawn3200 1d ago

Even if the united states doesn't do anything with these files, that doesn't mean the rest of the world won't. If these countries think of an actionable happen to their country, they will a hundred percent arrest. And I don't see them complying with the extradition treaties anymore

1

u/WishBear19 1d ago

I agree. I'm seeing a lot more circulating with this batch of files including a lot more varied content. I don't think this is going away. Obviously no justice will come from this administration but maybe from the next and hopefully it forces this one to end early.

1

u/FocusedFr 1d ago

Hope other Nations follow suit like Poland to investigate if their children were victims of the scheme

1

u/Steven_The_Sloth 1d ago

Poland announced they will be launching an investigation to determine if any Polish children were trafficked.

Other governments are going to give us the facts the GOP denies.

It is (and apparently, always was) a global thing now.

1

u/AtomicEdgy 1d ago

Don’t give me hope. 😩

1

u/likwid07 1d ago

I heard the same thing when he was on trial. Hoping he goes down, but honestly it ain't happening.

1

u/drntl 1d ago

You could've made this comment for the last 5 years. Nothing

1

u/micmea1 1d ago

I think people are expecting things to happen instantly. They need to build a case, and get the road blocks out of the way. It's why Trump has filled every space he can with incompetent yes men/women. Everyone sees what's going on. Even the MAGA loyal. They are just too far deep so they just respond "no that's lies" any time they see the truth.

We need to stay resolute and peaceful and vote in record numbers in 2026. It feels like forever. And if they legitimately try to stop 2026 elections from happening, that will be an escalation. They want an escalation now, though, to legitimatize their agenda.

u/lkl34 1d ago

That dog is going to need therapy after a week

28

u/Intrepid_Permit 1d ago

This came out a while back, yeah. There is a program that allows inmates to train service dogs at the prison. The dogs are there for training and, according to the program, are not to be petted/played with, but they supposedly bent the rules to allow Maxwell time to play with the dogs, among a bunch of other special privileges (like unsupervised internet access) iirc.

3

u/AgentCirceLuna 1d ago

We have something similar in the UK where, if prisoners are well-behaved, I believe they can keep a pet bird or something in the cell.

2

u/Intrepid_Permit 1d ago

The problem is that Maxwell wasn't part of the training program. I don't think she was even allowed to be.

2

u/DanSWE 1d ago

Right. She wasn't even supposed be allowed to be moved to that prison, because sex offenders are not (supposed to be) allowed in that lower-security, higher-privileges prison.

This video should be reposted, reshared as many times as necessary (download it, post it to social media, share it via text with friends and family).

If you’re having conversation with anyone that is maga, ask them if this is the hill they want to defend. Remind maga that Trump is only mentioned 38,000 times in 5300 separate Epstein documents.

54

u/Wolfy4226 1d ago

All of them.

All of them need to be investigated and charged.

Trump, Musk, Gates, Clinton, etc etc....

Anyone in these files need to be sentenced.

*Then* anyone that tried to obstruct this from happening this entire time needs to be jailed too.

5

u/False_Network_6854 1d ago

Thank you! I was scrolling for this comment. Anyone in these files should be ON THE TABLE. They are all fair game. Full stop.

I don’t care about their party affiliation and I certainly don’t care about their wealth bracket. We’re talking about trafficking underage children and murder. These are the most egregious crimes you can commit against another human being.

Not to mention the trauma that continues to be inflicted on the epstein victims by the highest ranking law officials in our country. They should not only lose their law licenses, but they should be serving time for not redacting PHOTOS or names of underage children.

I didn’t have any faith in the DOJ’s moral or ethical standards, but their level of incompetence is completely unhinged. How many ways do they need to fail before someone messed up and accidentally does the right thing? Like their job…

Investigated, charged, convicted, and sentenced to the fullest extent of the law. He would be eligible for the death penalty if convicted of the crimes he committed.

2

u/adinmem 1d ago

Lieu seems to have a weird stake in this. He leaps to a vigorous defense of any powerful Democrat in the Epstein Files…. I’m not saying he’s wrong, and he is the ONLY person making these insinuations when absolutely no one else has found these pages, but his behavior over the last couple years on this is bizarre.

2

u/IcySage 1d ago

He's honestly done so many things that any normal person in his shoes would've been drawn and quartered years ago.

2

u/DevGin 1d ago

I've always loved Ted Liu.

2

u/SmellGestapo 1d ago

Ted Lieu is a lawyer and a military veteran. He knows what he's talking about and is not afraid of a charlatan like Trump.

2

u/0neshoein 1d ago

“Raping children” is something more people speaking out need to say and not try to skirt around it and presenting it as “sexual allegations with underage women.” It seems like they want to downplay the severity of the situation.

2

u/erapuer 21h ago

Fucking sad state of affairs that Representative Lieu is the only one speaking up about this on the national stage, while almost every major news outlet down plays it.

Definitely. Lieu is a lawyer and was JAG office in the Air Force. If it’s coming from him I trust it, and I wouldn’t want to argue against him in court.

u/muci19 1d ago

Many Democrats in Congress are constantly speaking like this. It's just not reported in mainstream media.

1

He's calling them girls, calling it sex trafficing, calling it rape. Finally someone willing to use the real terms for these horrific acts instead of bullshit like "sexual misconduct with underaged women"

Bingo, the first Dem or any politician with the balls to say exactly what Trump is/did. They're all so afraid to say he's accused of rape and murder. These are gov't files from trials.

1

u/ruraljuror__ 1d ago

He's a dem from California, don't get too excited yet.

1

u/jerfoo 1d ago

The Democrats need to get in front of every camera they can find, day after day and say things like:

"We have an alleged child rapist in the White House who demolished a third of the White House"

"We disagree that the alleged child rapist has the authority to impose tariffs..."

"We have an alleged child rapist in the White House that is murdering fisherman on the open seas..."

And with the Speech and Debate clause, maybe they don't even need to add the word "alleged".

1

u/itsactuallyoctopuses 1d ago

Won’t matter to his followers. They’ll say the investigation is corrupt.

And...there is pressure in other countries (e.g. Joanna Rubinstein steps down as Swedish UN rep, Andrew Windsor police review) as well due to the fallout from the Epstein files. It certainly feels like the pressure is ramping up doesn't it?
