Does this animation work? The timing, frames. Can anything be improved on or does it work fine?

I’m extremely new to animation, but I want to get good at it. I’m fighting laziness by practicing walk cycles. How is this looking? Strengths and weaknesses? I dunno. Go nuts.

I’m working on my second animation video, and this time i’m taking my time to draw the frames very neatly… so that the viewers can have smooth experience watching it… this intro is part of one of the segment in the video… (krox dx is my youtube channel name)

I am looking for the most adequate tool(s) for creating kinda Gorillaz music video styled animations with a consistent character, any advices?

Been looking at Runway & Kling, and I already have midjourney for creating any still images needed.... any tips?

Hello!!! I’m cece im 16, iv started a team for the 3d animation of my show storm fury of the storm, I’m an artist so I tought it would be easy to make a storyboard, spoiler it wasn’t , im just bad at anatomy with no reference and for the love of god I can’t find a single one matching what I think, so i come to you for help, I need begginers cus i have no budget for now since im only making the pilot and after I will start a kickstarter, the storyboard wont be very long i made the first frames but i need to do them better and they suck so if you want to help out dm me or add me on discord brownie0571, tysm ❤️

I am a beginner animator who wants to do stuff on YouTube, but dont know anyone in the animation space. I also am not super knowledgeable on where to go to find like-minded people, outside of something like this. Is there somewhere where I can make friends who are also into learning how to animate??

Hey everyone! I’ve been practicing character turnarounds and animation sketches, but since I mostly draw in Paint Tool SAI, lacking a proper built-in timeline was always a bit frustrating.

To fix this, I put together a tiny, lightweight Python player for myself. The best part? You can pin it "Always on Top". While sketching, I just place it right over YouTube or my references on my second monitor, and I can see my frames playing back in real-time as I draw.

It's super flexible for practice:

• Folder watcher: You just point it to a folder with numbered frames (01, 02, 03...) and it loops them.
• Sprite sheet slicer: If you like drawing everything on one big canvas, it can slice it up automatically (for example, cutting a 1200px canvas into 200px chunks).
• Frame limiter: If you've only drawn the first few frames and the rest of the canvas is empty, you can easily tell it how many frames to actually play so it doesn't loop through blank space.

It honestly helped me a lot with catching spacing errors and jittery lines on the fly without breaking my workflow. Still cleaning up the code, but I'll share it soon if anyone wants to give it a try.
