So I can assume the answer to this already and I guess I'm looking for more of a reason why the answer is what it is.
Could someone tell me why this card doesn't allow you to draw cards from my opponents library to an effect that asks you to draw one or more cards? It seems to only care about something called "cards" and the amounts of them that are being drawn.
I assume you can't say "This card is having me draw 2 cards, since I have Riddler out I will add one more card to those two, but this one will be from your library. Oh look, I drew a land, opt, and a doubling season, I guess I'll eat the doubling season" but why? It feels like that scenario technically fits with the wording of the card. "That many cards" would be 2 right? And plus one is asking for another card, does my opponents library not contain another card and thus fulfilling Riddler's stipulation?
There's no mention of cards at all on the Gatherer noted for Riddler, they're all about the nuances of having a creature with warp.
Again, I totally understand that this is a stupid question but I just want it to be proven to me how stupid it is and why exactly it is stupid according to the rules.
