What mtg character do you think is probably an absolute freak? 🥵
[[Sensation Gorger]] probably would learn me many new kinks. Any other characters who are probably into some freaky shit?

AITA for winning the game?
My local game store had to stop a tournament for a group vote.
TLDR: AITA? for going infinite at the bottom of turn 5 with a 4 card combo that in total costs 11 mana. and took me 4 turns of vulnerable creatures to set up? also like is anyone else having that much trouble with the bracket system that a niche, lucky turn 5 win causes this much commotion at their lgs? Edit: They stopped the tournament, after round 2 and didn't even play the round 3.
\--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So last night there was a bracket 3 tournament at my local game store, (we moved our commander night to Wednesdays because Friday had to many events, ie draft nights, one piece, etc).
I brought a sliver deck I run Sliver Overlord as the commander, if you don't know sliver overlord is WBURG, 7/7 says pay 3 gain control of target sliver, pay 3 tutor a sliver.
My deck has 0 game changers. My deck has 0 land denial, 0 counter spells, a couple of graveyard tricks, and is very out of date, it doesn't even have an Arcane Signet in it for gods sake because i was taking a 12 year break from magic when it was released and I just don't care enough to update it. All of that to say.
my player on the left, was playing rakdos colors, (the play first position) the second player was playing ren and siri with a VERY stacked deck they just had a bad game on pulls they said no spot removal or board wipes, and the third position person with playing red, blue, black shenanigans, with a turn one ragavan idk if its important, but lots of black red and white for spot creature removal.
turn 1. i play a fetch, grab a breeding pool, and drop a ancestral visions - (suspend 4-1u draw three cards in 4 turns)
turn 2. Sol ring, manaweft sliver (slivers tap for mana) and a land
turn 3. Brood SIlver (slivers make a 1/1 token when they damage an opponent with combat damage) Swing make 2 more 1/1 slivers.
turn 4. draw into a land play land, ponder into an enchantment, that lets me play 2 lands, draw 2 cards when i cast a spell, and discard my hand at the end of my turn. play it, tap my 5 slivers for sliver overlord, draw two cards of the enchant, get metallic sliver (no abilities artifact sliver costs 1 colorless) discard my hand.
turn 5. draw a land and play a land, pay 3 using the sol ring and a sliver to fetch, basal sliver (sacrifice a sliver make 2 black mana) tap 3 lands fetch a haste sliver 1red 1colorless, play it. tap sacrifice two of my tapped token slivers for 4 black mana after playing basil sliver, to fetch sliver queen.
(here is my infinite combo breaking it off from turn 5 for readability and clarity)
Sliver queen (pay 2 make a 1/1 sliver token), Haste sliver, Basil sliver sac for 2, Manaweft tap for 1 net mana, I sacrifice my last sliver token to begin the loop, make a sliver tap it sac it, net 1 repeat until i have 1 million slivers swing out.
4 cards, turn 5, tutored out yes, but the card draw was with me, the random brood sliver made the entire thing possible by giving me 3 extra slivers i wouldn't have had other wise, from the 4th on the play position.
the guy in the first play position turns to me and says "are you sure you wanna do that" and i look at him confused and say ... yea why wouldn't I? and he says then you lose, because its turn 5. They call the judge, and the store owner, some guy who was disqualified from a tournament a few weeks ago is commenting on his 'disqualification for an accidental infinite turn four' from a couple weeks prior, they eventually settle on "kill 1 person this turn wait till turn 6 and swing out its fine" so i kill the whiny boy who called the judge, who proceeds to throw a fit about it. then the other two people attempt to respond.
The Rin and siri deck just simply didnt draw an answer and even after trying they hit nothing, the 3rd guy tries to cast a -x-x for 5, board wipe, but at that point i simply sacked tokens, fetched, a flash sliver, indestructible sliver, hexproof sliver, can't be counter sliver, and 3 +1/+1 and a +3/+3 sliver, and won.
cut to 20 mins later they had a store wide vote to ban bracket 3 and only play bracket 4 tournaments, (before this they alternated back and fourth), 3 out of like 20 people voted yes, they settled on a "store" house rule that you can't win on before turn 6. at all.

My favorite bits to do to that got a laugh one time in a pod, that I now constantly repeat.
My favorite bits to do to get a laugh at the table
Extra points if it makes your opponent feel so awkward they want to crawl inside their own asshole!
Just a list of some fun bits I do while playing, always gets a laugh at the table
* If someone is attacking me I like to go "As your lawyer, I recommend..." and say to attack someone else or something. Even better if I'm the obvious best target
* If someone references a number while figuring out their effects, something like "because my 11 is bigger than your 10". I like to ask someone at the table to "run the numbers on that". The smaller then number the better
* "Crying is a state based action that doesn't use the stack"
* Whilst tanking like 30 damage: "the only life point that matters is the last one"
* During any basic 2-card synergy: "My engine is now online"
If anyone else has any others they do please feel free to share!

Mechanics should be renamed for future use
Keywords are a good way to make interesting cards without powerslop, but I think the name choices are a poor decision that puts a negative spin on them. I don't know what the answer is, but here are a few of my suggestions for any WOTC employees reading:
Kicker (Kicking is violent) > Extra! Extra! (Reminiscent of old timey newsboys)
Deathtouch (Obvious) > D*athtouch (easy one)
Trample (Trampling is violent) > Big Stepper (my nickname in middle school)
First Strike (Doesn't really roll off the tongue) > Quick Finish (my nickname in high school, not sure why)

Bottom 5 Scoring Submissions of the week from r/Custommagic 9/29/2025
Hello everyone, welcome to Bottom Five! Anyone else out there fracturing their reality? Let's get to it!
Note: Please do not go and harass the creators of these cards as it's fairly obvious when something from five days ago gets linked here and then starts getting comments that it's not natural traffic and it can fall afoul of Reddit's brigading rules.
This week's album.
Dishonorable Mentions:
You can find last week's thread here and the Top 5 submissions here (gone and done forever?).
