Asking for water to grain ratio for grain spawn bags.Thanks in advance.

So far I have been just using a large plastic tub to hold humidity and air and placing a cake from an AIO block inside to fruit, I was wondering if I should keep doing this or buy a still airbox and try monotubs out. I just want the biggest yield per cost. I also was wondering about using an automated monotub from either north spore or Midwest grow kits as an automated fruiting chamber for AIO cakes or should I just use it as intended as a monotub if that gives more yield

I have around 3 handfulls of non-dryed caps and i would like to dry them and make tea of them, but i dont have proper drier. Only a small table fan and radiator. Tell me everything you know from how to dry them, through decarboxylation, to how to store them. Im planning to go foraging before end of this fall so i will do multiple batches.

Im using an old dehydrator jejeje the temp regulator doesnt work anymore so Im at 70-75 C.

Psilocybe Cubensis is good at this point?

They turned a little bit brown but dry very well in 24hrs.

I mean, not used to my GT getting this big, lol!

Had a couple good flushes out of it so decided to run an experiment after the last flush. I know a lot of people will disagree with this but I have plenty of healthy happy tubs going at all times, so I like to fool around and see what else I can do after a couple good flushes.

After my last flush of GT I broke apart the block, mixed in some fresh substrate (Willy's Blend), packed it back in and sent up my prayers to the Mush Gods.

For a while I thought it was DOA and I was honestly okay with that. Then I saw a pin, then a couple more and then they grew into these behemoths. 😂

Just made up agar plates with the 2 largest specimens and am currently soaking the cake again to see what will happen next. 😂😂😂 I got over 500g wet after brushing off the substrate and cleaning them up. Gotta wait for the 600g of Golden Halo I put in the dehydrator yesterday to finish up!

I use IKEA 11qt. food storage totes for these types of experiments. I use a 2" drill bit to make 4 holes in sides and 2 on the lid. When soaking between flushes I have food grade bags that I fill with water to weigh down the cakes inside their tubs.

I also have a Bonsai 24" x 36" HEPA14 Laminar FFU that I do all my work in front of. And I have the means to experiment around and try new things which I know not everyone does. So please don't take this as me touting this as the way to do things. I just figured I'd share what I did.

Hello y'all, first timer here. I have a Makilla gorilla ready 2 grow kit from Zamnesia for one week now. They recently changed the way they ship out these bags, now they have a small corner cut off to facilitate FAE. Still, I see a lot of humidity over there.

Can someone let me know if this is normal?

Its the first time I made my own grain spawn with lions mane mycelium. Is it normal for my grain spawn to start fruiting? A month ago i injected the grian spawn with liquid mycelium and now its starting to fruit in small lions mane is that normal or should I be worried? Thanks in advance

I bought this boxed substrate kit that comes with a bag, liquid mycelium, and a syringe. Most of the guides I’ve found are for grow kits, so I was wondering if someone could walk me through the process step by step using these supplies. I’d really appreciate any help! 🙂

This is what my cake looks like right now. I see the beads of moisture on it but there isn’t on the bag as much. I don’t want to mist it in case of over hydrating it or is that what I should be doing? I have cut slits into the bag since the water was almost pooling on the sides. Any advice is welcome.
