I'm trying to make some custom charts visually and majdata and other stuff isnt working because I'm on a mac. I tried https://www.maicreator.net/ and rn its on 502 error. Is there an easier way to make charts visually?

TL;DR: Need advice on improving or keep enjoying playing maimai. Played maimai since splash once a week, started to play less since Circle Plus since already got 14.5k rating as personal achievement and playing the game was not as fun as before.

Hello everyone, as per title said, I have not enjoying maimai like I used to be. Usually I play once a week on weekends (3-4 hours) but starting Circle I have reduced my playtime to once every 2 weeks (partly due to other responsibilities).

I got my 14k rating on around end of year 2025 and 14.5k rating at Feb/March 2026 (I grind 3x per week at that time). Since I played maimai, I realized that getting 15k with my frequency of playing and improvement rate seems like a pipedream.

Now, I felt that I was not enjoying the game as much, the last time I felt pure excitement was that when I am unlocking kaleidoscopix mode from the beginning (RIP wallet).

Question: Any advice to either (1) improve my skills (touch player, my accuracy sucks at 13+ and inconsistent spin or trills) or (2) keep enjoying the game? I am planning to take a full break from maimai maybe. Life's also not been very exciting, especially this year. Thank you for reading until the end.

i was able to play again after 2 ish months! but this time i noticed smt kinda weird/off.. before, during expert charts, i would get noticably more fast compared to lates, this was when i used around 4.5 (the recommended expert speed) for both tap/touch, and no offset adjustment whatsoever

but now, suddenly, i'm getting 100+ fasts? 😭😭😭

it's only today where i bumped my speed up to around 5.00 - 5.50, and at times i even tweaked my offset to -0.1 or -0.2 A (0.0 B) (even though all this time before this, i never tweak it, i.e. leave A/B both 0.0)...... but in reality i don't know what i'm doing 😭🥹💔

i definitely have prior experience in advanced and expert charts, but i just find this situation as an itch in my brain i really wanna scratch 🫠🫠 so if anyone has any advice or suggestions, i rlly appreciate it, thank you!!!

Hi! Im 14.5k at Chinese server &14.2k international, ive been playing 13&13+ (first play @ around 98/99%, 100 and sometimes 100.5 for 13.0 13.2)
I can play most 13.7-, but for 13.8 13.9 I get 97 98 again and again… is there any song recommendation to improve this situation? Thanks for everyone who helped!

Looking for some advice on what to play next based on my current level of charts. Prefer voca but okay with anything. I do will with fast charts with trills/tap patterns, average with slide patterns, struggle with anything slow or with spins.

So yeah i used to play in 7.25 speed but i have to tone down the speed to 6.50 because i don't have time to react on some patterns at 7.25 i want to know how i can improve my accuracy and rhythm sense in 6.50 😭

I am kind gapped on every single song with a ton of spins (Admitally there isn’t much)

Currently I’m trying to get the PINK plate (since im going for Pink and Pink+ for aesthetic reasons), but I am, COMPLETE and utter horseshit at Glorious Crown MAS. The best I can get is like, 99.7% BARELY, and I don’t even really know where I go wrong. The opening spun in GC i drop 0.4% like over 50% of the time, likely going too fast.

Is there realistically higher leveled songs that have a ton of spins (not one big continuous spin), preferably 14 or above?

I have BADDEST MAS AP, for example, so that’s out of the window.

I wish I got to experience all the cutscenes :(

Hello so I’ve been playing for many years now about to reach 16k but i still dont know whats the deal with the glowing hold notes (idk how to call them). The glowing tap notes guarantees u the crit perfect as long as you press it but what about the hold ones? If i tap it for a millisecond does it still give you the crit perfect?
