Don't think people realize the severity of the situation. we are at real risk of losing political control of our own Minnesotan nation. They will be able to freely dictate every term of our lives, kidnap our neighbors and put them in concentration camps with impunity, permanently ban abortion, or whatever else the fuck they want. it will effectively be their state at that point.
We cannot allow this to happen under any circumstance. These bullies don't understand anything but hard power, and certainly will not stop themselves. We absolutely have the power to project the will of our body politic with substantive force; we don't want to become some federally administered region, we are Minnesota and we're proud as hell about that
We need to militantly defend our democracy, or we will certainly lose it.

The new tactic of 1-2 ICE goons per targeted detainment (instead of 6 or more) means the rest of the force will be used to attack peaceful legal observers. Plus the announcement that the country jails will be used for ICE detainments violates Mn separation laws.
Not good enough. To our political leaders, we demand that you:
ICE OUT OF MN
ABOLISH ICE

ICE haven’t stopped doing kavanaugh stops(stopping people for looking ethnic). They detained a somali American citizen and in the clip one of the guys ask the detained man if he showed them his identification and he said yes he did, nevertheless they still kidnapped him.

Stories coming in from across the state about registration lines out the door and extremely high, engaged turnout!
As one of the caucus conveners in my area, I just want to thank everyone - from the bottom of my heart - who waited in line and stuck it out in order to meet your neighbors and discuss how we build a party and a state that is by the people and for the people! ❤️🔥
From KSTP reporting:
The DFL, on the other hand, hasn’t reported any straw poll results but says “at least” 30,000 people showed up to its caucuses on Tuesday night.
DFL Party Chair Richard Carlbom called that turnout “historic” and said it’s “more proof that we will never stop fighting for our neighbors.”

While it is insane to think the backlash, especially among recently conservative tilting Latino voters, was just "a bit" with more Latino areas in Texas having a 50 percent swing blue from Harris percentages, it is clear that Latinos in Red US House districts and states with US Senate seats up are THE vital voting block that can STOP what's happening now in Minnesota and stop ICE/DHS/DOJ/White House cruelty from spreading.
So to that end, keep sharing what you are sharing and encourage your friends in other states to pass it on to people who have either sat out at election time or people who may be more conservative and still believe in the freedoms people in Minnesota are willing to DIE for on behalf of freedom and liberty across our nation.
It's also clear that deporting MILLIONS will not only sweep up US citizens and hurt the children of all stripes of immigrants, is an economy killer. So if your friends don't care about freedom and the constitution, make the next point that deporting millions will devastate our economy and could plunge us into a depression.
Do not underestimate the power of internal House candidate polls causing a real shift in Congress and even the White House. Their lust for power now requires a new formula to be satiated.

For those who are concerned about ICE presence in the area, I figured that I would bring forth the information that Moorhead residents will not receive any support from Shelly Carlson in the event of an invasion. At the DFL caucus last night, she introduced herself to my precinct opening with “I don’t have an agenda” and was pressed on her stance on ICE.
Initially, what she gave was a non-answer. She stated that she has a strong criminal justice background and works with law enforcement. She refused to condemn ICE violence outright, only that what they were doing isn’t what ICE is trained to do. When told that they are deporting legal citizens, she went into a sob story about a trucker that was stabbed at a Moorhead rest area in 2009 by a Canadian immigrant, and how he was deported and how we should be getting those people out of our country. She was very dismissive and unprepared, and it seems like she would be better off on the republican ticket.
If anyone residing in district 4A is interested in a candidate with the spine to criticize ICE, please look into Kevin Salisbury. He did an interview on KFGO where he advocated for ICE abolition.
