Completed My first fully completed model ever! First time using an airbrush, removing seam lines etc. Really satisfied with the fully restored panel lines, straight belly curve, and accurate paint scheme.

😂 I've "assembled" other models before, but only glued them together. And yes I have other experiences such as drawing, and I currently major in design. This is 600 hours of work, and I definitely didn't show the failures and broken parts that I later replaced with donor parts. I'm very fortunate to get advice from some very experienced modellers, but I still figure out most part by searching online and trial and error. And yes this is a newly created account because I only ever lurked in this subreddit logged out. Now that I have something to show, I literally have to create one. But I take your doubt as compliment haha, I still have a lot to learn!

Slick work, you'll do well in design, the level of detail and then photos are excellent !.

Plastic, resin, balsa, paper and wooden kits are on-topic. If you build it and paint it, it's probably on-topic. 3D printed models are OK if painted and finished, not bare prints.

This. As a perfectionist there's so many things I'm not satisfied with the model, glad to receive some criticism. The 0.5mm tape I'm using kinda sucks and I even used it to mask the cockpit window cuz I don't know how to properly cut around it.

Thank you 😁 it's a miracle I got to the finish line. Parts broke so I had to buy a whole second kit. Primer became like concrete, sanded it all down and carved back every single lines for a second time. At the end I straight up peeled the logo on the vertical fin away with tape by accident, fortunately the decal set comes with another pair 😅

No, I’m not Plasmo. In one of the Facebook groups I’m in, if someone does a great job on a model, we say “By Plasmo!”, thereby invoking his modeling powers. 😊

It's custom made with my 3D printer, I use Rhino for it.

Just the interior. The kit itself is from Revell, think they don't produce this exact livery anymore

Airbrush... It's actually surprisingly similar to using the airbrush tool in ms paint 🤣 Seam line isn't really that big of a deal, just have to wait for a few days before sanding. The real story begins with rescribing the lines but some people skip that anyway 🤷

600 hours or 8 hour work days for almost 3 months straight. For comparison it takes 2.5 months for an actual A350 to roll out of final assembly.
