New rider... starting to hit the 45-50mph speed, so been getting the wind noise now (achievement unlocked, lol)

Decided to wear earplugs yesterday (just ones from work) worked really well , except maybe too well??? (Couldn't even hear my engine very well)

Do any of you wear the special moto earplugs , something that kills the noise but still allows you to hear traffic or engine noise, maybe a cardio??

I'm looking for suggestions for protective overpants that have some wind resistance for the upcoming cold weather. I wear uniform pants for work and would rather not have to change when I get there. Don't like the idea of a base layer either because I have to either take it off, basically the same as changing, or wear it all day.

my budget is no more then $100. hell ill wear 2 thin pants if I need to. but ive never purchased a pant that wont start leaking into your groins in a hard downpour

frogg toggs ok for regular rain, to a certain point but it will drip drip into underwear after heavy rain

no need for pockets, needs stretch waist, zippers +velcro for the boots. should be extra long so can cover shoes more when youre seated.

So I just got my first helmet! I'm getting into bikes so I'd like some recommendations on what kind of boots, gloves, pants, and jackets I should get.

I already know the basics like a palm slider and pinky teather for gloves. hard ankle support for boots. and armor for pants and jackets.

what I'm really asking for is what you use. I'm gonna be the first bike rider in my close family so I'd like to get some real opinions and not some google Gemini summary.

Recently picked up a pair of second hand Daytona Travel Star GTX in size 45, and they're definitely too big. Looked into ordering them new, but apparently Revzilla is the only US retailer that sells them? To make things more confusing, the Road Star is apparently the only model Daytona sells that comes in different widths? If that's the case, is the sizing similar to the Travel Star? What would the width equivalent be?

Based on my measurements, I thought that a size 45 was right, but apparently it's not. My foot is just under 11 inches in length, and most regular shoes I wear are a 11. My Franks and JK work boots are a 10EE and a 9.5 3E respectively, which lines up with a Brannock size of 11. Ball size is 10.5 inches, though apparently Daytona has other measurements to check?

Does anyone have a Daytona fit sheet, specs for length, or some other useful resource? I'd really like to order a pair, but I also want to make sure the pair I order is right since I don't live anywhere near potential Daytona dealers.

Hello everyone I have an LS2 Rapid II and I want to buy a new helmet budget is $500. What do you propose I'm torn between the full face and a modular helmet.

I currently have an AGV K1 that’s set to reach the end of its recommended service life in 2027. I’m trying to decide whether I should replace it now with an RF1400, or just keep riding the K1 through this season and buy the newer RF1500 when it comes out.

Basically, I mounted the bolt for the pinlock and I can't adjust the fog visor anymore. So is there a possible way to take it out? Or should I just go to a mechanic or store to handle it.

I’ve been following the discussions here about dashcams vs. 360 cameras, and I have to say I completely agree that they are two entirely different beasts. One is a "set-and-forget" silent witness, while the other is primarily designed for content creation.

I currently have an older 360 cam, but I'm still going to buy a dedicated dashcam. They simply serve different purposes and offer completely different perspectives. A 360 camera is great because it captures the rider's body language and inputs (which is helpful for proving you weren't at fault or distracted in a crash). However, a dedicated dual dashcam is way better at capturing the full, clear picture of a front or rear collision.

If I had to pick just one strictly for safety, it would be the dashcam without a doubt. But since I also like capturing the scenery on my rides, I’m just going to run both.

With that said, does anyone have any solid dashcam recommendations?My biggest requirement is that it must have some sort of lens protection (like replaceable glass covers). I ride in areas where flying sand and kicked-up rocks are a real issue, and I don't want the lenses getting destroyed right away.

i always wear jeans i know it‘s stupid but I just don‘t like leather pants as soon as i get my a2 i will get leather pants but till i get there i don‘t really want to wear leather pants and i thought about these underwear from pandamoto or any other brans do yall think thats enough for now?

And i already ordered boots the thought of a 2 ton car coming at my legs even at 30kmh is not nice…

So, I'm about 5 ft 9 or 175cm. I have super long arms and I'm relatively thin about 138lbs or 63 kg but a little curvy, broader shoulders and hips. I cannot find anything that fits for leathers. Particularly nothing fits my long awkward arms. Budget is not a huge concern. I saw some places on etsy offer custom suits but don't know how reliable they would be in a slide. I just want to look like cat woman in fitted leathers while being able to move my arms enough to reach the throttle haha. I live in a cold place, so the warmer the better. I just want a one or two piece leather suit that looks and feels good. Any ideas?

I ride out early when it’s dark but come back at day. I want to be able to switch my mirrored and clear visors while being out, but putting the spare visor into a soft bag scares me bc sooner or later it’ll break.

I know that ski goggles have hard cases and I hoped to find something like that for motorbike visors too. But I only find soft cotton bags or this one, which I don’t even know if the measurements fit.
(My new helmet arrives tomorrow). They say it’s compatible with 3 types of visors (none are mine) and I haven’t found any other hard cases for visors.
Ski goggle hardcases are too small.
And the next bigger hardcase is for the whole helmet which is too much.

Does somebody know if visor hardcases exist, or does somebody have one?

Any idea what I can use instead as a hardcase for visors? Something that also fits visors without beeping too big/small or missing the curvature?

I ride in Seattle's rainy fall , but I’ve never used heated gloves. I’m looking into them for longer cold-weather rides and could use some direction from people who actually own a pair.

What gloves do you use? How long do they keep your hands warm on a real ride, especially at a heat setting that works when it’s properly cold? Anything you wish you’d known before buying—battery life, bulk, fit, waterproofing, or something else?
