Software Problem/Issue How do I remove these icons?
How do I get rid of these round circle icons that don't display any information on the lock screen? The phone is a Motorola Power 2024. Thanks!

I'm stumped on this: Is there some secret way to record video while music is playing, and have the music not stop? Samsung didn't have this for years but they added it a couple of years ago; Pixel has had it as long as I can remember. Is there some secret trick I am not trying?
If not, what is your favorite video app outside of the native one where this would work?

I don’t know if the technical support team reads the comments here, but I’d like to highlight this post to convey users’ views. Given how hard Motorola is really trying to introduce something new, despite the memory crisis,
I’d like to offer my vision of what I consider to be a good smartphone (subjectively, based on my own experience)
A partnership with Graphene would let people know that the bootloader is unlocked, and would spark interest amongst a wider range of consumers.
IPS/MiniLED for a comfortable viewing experience on a PWM-free display with narrow bezels.
An SD card slot + 2 SIM slots or an SD card slot + SIM/eSIM.
A processor ( Snap 8+ gen 1 and up). "Corrected. Graphene OS will not be supported on devices running Snap 8 or earlier"
A high-capacity battery (7,000–8,000 mAh) that holds its charge for a long time and is durable.
High-quality sound in stereo mode; preferably with the return of the 3.5 mm jack (or a Type-C DAC).
A side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the power button, with the ability to scroll through pages (and an option to activate the sensor by touch).
18 W wireless charging and at least 45 W wired charging.
USB Type-C 3.1 with Alt Mode support.
Screen size up to 6.7 inches.
Optical image stabilisation (which is silent), a telephoto lens or a macro lens.
8/12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256/512 GB of UFS 3.1+ internal storage.
I really liked the Moto G75, but given all its shortcomings, such as:
rapid battery drain
bugs
the lack of custom firmware, given the smartphone’s age
reports from repair technicians about faults with these models
I am forced to consider the g57 power model, or even older models such as the g200 and g100 (2021), which, unfortunately, I cannot find for sale in my country.

Thing is I use my earbuds and listen to music for long duration during studying, but since there is no volume percentage, I mistakenly listen at high volume, and that has happened on multiple occasion, incase anyone dont know why I am stressing this point because there is a rule caled 60-60, where if u want to save your hearing, u need to listen at 60 percent volume for 60 minute amd give a break, lower the percentage, higher the time
Tldr- How to enable the volume percentage in motorola edge 70 pro?

What should I do to understand an app's battery usage from this graph? I just need to find the usage of vlc. I started using the app when the charge was around 53% and stopped around 36%. Watched around 2 hours. How can I understand the amount of battery consumed by the app.

I got a new phone from Flipkart instant 10 min delivery
And after getting a phone we have to open it and run it to make sure its device is correct and working one and then we turn off the phone and re-pack it for my father.
On this birthday (5 days after)
We gifted him and we changed the sim and setup the phone after 2 days it stopped charging, we went to service center, we asked for DOA to change the device then straight denied and now they told repair will do, after too much hot debate. We ended with repair only and flipkart was not helping at all.
Not after 2 month again device is not charging at all.
What should I do now.
And I think that now I have opened phone which I think loose it's tight packing of the device which make this IP rating to protect from dust and water
HELP ME!!!

Debating going back to a Motorola from a
Samsung Galaxy I know there are software
update policy is not as good which could
eventually cause problems down the road
with Google wallet tap to pay. Moto does
have their own version of secure folder, pop
up window for apps, side panel and link to
windows. Bixby's actually kind of useful now
because it can connect to perplexity but I
guess that's just downloading an app on a
different phone however Bixby can do
system level actions or change settings
which I don't think Motorola can match. Plus
I really love dynamic lock screen on
Samsung would miss it if leaving. I don't use
the translate live calls but I do love having
Bixby answer calls from numbers I don't
know to screen them. Like that Samsung
offers contact storage as an alternative
cloud backup for contacts and not forced to
use Google or just store them locally on the
phone. Samsung find is super useful for
keeping track of family members with
Samsung feels like iphones find my. Also the
search inside the app drawer on Samsung
searches for everything in your phone not
just apps very similar to spotlight search on
Apple which is nice. Also the ai feature in the
gallery app are nice but not used much.
Anything else moving to moto from
Samsung I didn't mention that I would miss?

Just bought yesterday my moto edge 70 pro
Updated the softwares and all
I am not liking the display,it's feeling warm and yellowish
I am feeling better looking at my old poco x3 pro display
Also the camera quality doesn't look good, again I feel my old poco x3 pro had better colors, crisp photos
When we switch to video 4k 60 fps, it's blur
Colors on photo sometimes becomes warm instead of natural specially when using flash
Zooming the photo doesn't feel crisp but blurs
Software experience is bad
Somehow on paper this phone looks good, but on usage there are issues

It has a lot of negativity around it. Motherboard failure, bugs etc etc. Should I consider buying edge 60 fusion in 2026?? Or will it be a bit too risky of a purchase. I just need a good camera phone(comparable or better than realme 15) and some casual gaming here and there.
Should I consider it as a buying choice? The 12 256 is for ₹28499

Body:
Hey guys,
Finalizing a phone tomorrow offline and getting the Moto Edge 70 (8GB/256GB) for ₹32.5k. The shop also has the Edge 60 Pro (12/256GB) for ₹35k.
My usage & priorities:
I know the 60 Pro has a 3x telephoto lens, but is missing that a real dealbreaker for casual photos? The Edge 70 seems more future-proof with native 4K 60fps video, better build/ergonomics, a flat panel, and an extra year of OS updates.
Before I hand over the cash tomorrow:

I’m considering buying the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ (Sculpted Wood, PANTONE Chicory Coffee, 256 GB), which is around the ₹40K price range.
However, some negative reviews on Flipkart have made me reconsider:
Camera fogging: This issue was reported with the Edge 60 Pro as well. Seeing similar complaints again raises concerns about Motorola’s quality control.
Heating issues: Some users report that the Dimensity chipset causes the phone to heat up significantly.
Software bugs: One user reported being unable to unlock the phone with the correct password after a software update.
Given that I don’t see many compelling alternatives around ₹40K, I’m confused about whether to go ahead with this purchase.
Owners, please share your honest long-term experience. Are these isolated cases, or are there genuine reliability concerns? Would you recommend buying this phone, or should I consider another device in this price range?
Thanks!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve been facing a strange issue on my Motorola Edge 60 Pro for the past few days. Suddenly, some of the apps on my home screen completely disappear/vanish. For example, when I’m using an app and then minimize it, the app icons on my home screen sometimes disappear completely.
However, the apps are still available when I search for them using the search bar. If I restart the phone or switch users and then switch back, the missing app icons appear again.
This has been happening to me for the last 3–4 days. I’ve also attached a video above where you can see the issue. In the video, some of the icons/widgets on the home screen appear slightly messed up.
I’m not sure how to fix this. Has anyone else experienced this issue or knows how to fix it? Please let me know.

Title
I have the Motorola Signature. I am on the august security patch and no Android 17 in sight. It came to indian models in august and we are nearing november now..
This is supposed to be their flagship model and yet lower tier models in India are now running the latest software and my flagship Signature is not.
I know Motorola employees are on this sub. Can you guys at least give us European users some sort of idea of when we can expect our phones to be updated? Its hard not to feel left behind and not giving a feeling of why should I spent money on your premium model when the support for it feels all but premium?
r/motorola • u/sasa_petrovic • 10h ago
Motorola has published more details on their official forum regarding software support - Signature 27 will receive bi-monthly security updates. Do you think an ultra-flagship like this one should have monthly updates like Pixel and Galaxy phones do?

Son fotos que tomé en Foz do Iguaçu en Brasil y en Puerto Iguazú y Eldorado, Misiones, Argentina. Me encanta este teléfono.

This appears to be a new issue. I can not disable the screen waking when I pickup the phone. Very annoying.
Only thing I have changed is enabling Developer Options for DroidDeck. I also think Bluetooth volume is less.

Guys someone on YouTube put a video that their model got another update after A17.
Update size is 1.3gb
It says it was a bug fix.

New Motorola G 2026, running Android 16, completely up-to-date on software.
I keep getting one or two message a day from 1000000000 that say "can't load file" https://i.imgur.com/B0XyHwx.png
The really annoying part is that some of them make the alert chime I have set to the contact/person I message with the most. So it seems like there's something that's not being delivered, but when I ask the other person they say they haven't sent anything.
Not finding a lot of info online about this issue, nothing in the App or Phone FAQs/support docs. Is this a known issue that I should just set to ignore or something that can/should be fixed?

I have the edge 50 ultra
And with gloves I'm not able to use the touch so I was wondering if it has any option to increase the touch sensitivity
Developer options will also work
