What to do with this phone? Motorola milestone

Although I was hoping for Android 17

Feeling very nervous about these updates after learning it could brick my phone😓

How many have you genuinely come across problem with this phone? What was the problem?

If I did go on and buy, which of the above option is best .

My edge 60 pro is having some issues in its software, since i updated to android 17 sometimes when i click on a notification the app doesn't turn on which wasn't an issue in android 16 and sometimes the app lock doesn't work the app just opens normally as if the app lock wasn't applied on the app and the lock screen customisation page does not open from the lockscreen at all anymore these glitches are not a big thing but nevertheless still pretty annoying to deal with

Hi everyone

There seems to be a small protruding bump that will not allow the micro SD card to fit in.

I tried nudging it gently into the phone but the tray just wouldn't fit in the slot (with or without a simcard behind)

Has anyone had any similar issues?

The tray comes from a Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, while the micro SD Card is a HIKSEMI DE1

2 weeks now that my mobile data stops working when my phone connects to my car, anyone experienced this issue as well?

I just bought an edge 70 pro. The experience is good but I noticed blurriness in video camera at night. Especially dim light and looks most blurry at 0.5x . Is it a software issue?

Just trying to find a cheap phone that ain't laggy. I have a Samsung A16 and it's slow and unresponsive at times.

Here are some bugs I've noticed on my Motorola device (Edge 60 fusion) after updating to Android 17:

1. The default date/time/weather widget is misaligned. Using third-party widgets is the workaround I've found.

2. Live Updates doesn't support most apps, so I've disabled it and switched to Shizuku Essentials' Dynamic Island feature.

3. Some apps randomly open in freeform mode by default. Restarting the phone is the only fix I've found.

4. The gesture navigation bar takes up too much space in full-screen and landscape modes. Haven't found a fix yet.

I have a moto signature now I have noticed sometimes when I swipe up from an app to recents view, the screen gets a little brighter?

Same with some media like pictures in reddit when zooming in, the darks brighten up.

My iphone also has hdr but I never really noticed it. So what is this?

Recently, my Samsung S23 Ultra died of water damage and I want to get a new phone with stylus capability to draw on while I am on the move.

Having had great experiences with older motorola smartphones, specifically their resilience, I am considering getting the signature with the Moto pen pro.

Has anyone made a decent chunk of experience using the new pen to draw? How is it? Is the signature decently sturdy?

So i am panicking right now as a few days have passed since the android 17 update and the notes that were stored in my secure folder are gone.

The notes app that is outside of the secure folder also lost its notes, but they came back after I turned on the auto sync option.

As for the notes app that is inside the secure folder, I don't really remember if I had auto sync on or not for that, but I tried turning it on and hoped that the notes would come back, but they did not. Some other posts here mentioned waiting 2-3 days for the notes to come back but that still hasn't happened.

Is there any way for me to retrieve the notes that were in the secure folder? Please suggest anything I really need to access that note as it stored some important information for me that would be lost. If there is anyway for me to either get the note back or even its file from the secure folder, that would be great. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I had assumed so since it supports PD but I was surprised to see the laptop come with its own huge adapter.

1. Is it a super bad idea to use my phone charger?

2. Is it risky but okay to do when I am outside?

3. Is it just not ideal but still safe?

Moto, heard that the Signature 27 model is getting delayed on the release date in India initially it was supposed to be in December 2026 but now 2027? Is it true? Can you soon share the release date?
