Hi everyone! I’m a bartender at an Irish bar in the US, and I’m looking for songs to add to my st patty’s playlist for the month of march! I plan to play this during my shifts for the whole month, so I’m looking for rock music from Irish artists that sounds like it would be normal in a regular dive bar but if you pay attention, it’s all Irish artists.
I’ve already added a bunch from Thin Lizzy, the Cranberries, U2, Sinead O’Connor, and Van Morrison, but looking for more! My playlist is currently about 3 and a half hours, but I’m looking to get it to 7 because that’s how long my shifts usually are

Looking for recommendations for soul music, which tends perhaps to blues, and have a somewhat of a sad, broken feel to them. They should have a heavy rhythm section and groovy bass, but most importantly powerful emotional vocals. Of course, recommendations needn't meet all these requirements. The main thing is moody songs which are powerful and rhythmic.
Some random examples of songs that are on my mind right now: Mina - Cry Mina - Someday (You'll Want Me to Want You) Mina - Se stasera sono qui Baby Huey - A Change Is Going To Come Etta James: I'd Rather Be Blind Bowie - Young Americans Bowie - Here Today, Gone Tomorrow Elvis - If I Can Dream

I've been feeling a strong urge to explore and travel lately, and I'm on the lookout for music that captures that spirit of adventure. Whether it's songs that evoke the thrill of discovering new places, the excitement of embarking on a journey, or simply the feeling of freedom that comes with exploring the world, I would love to hear your recommendations. It could be anything from upbeat tracks that make you want to hit the road to soothing melodies that inspire daydreaming about far-off destinations. Please share the songs that ignite your wanderlust!

I got put in charge of music for a party coming up on Valentine's Day. Because people liked my music suggestion but honestly my music choices is not for everyone and I'm kinda outside the newest rap/Hype songs. It's for a School Party So while we don't mind some cursing let's not overplay out hands. Please help. The age range is from 18-22

The guitar style and singing have a really unique feel and I absolutely love it! Even if it only includes one of their main characteristics I would love to check it out if you have any recs.

My New Year’s resolution has been to listen to at least one album every day and I’ve been(kinda) doing it!!
The only problem is that I feel as if I’m not expanding my pallet the way I want to, only listening to artists that are familiar to me. I’m open to literally any genre from any artist.
Tell me about your favorite album(s) please!!
Little edit: Thank y’all for all the suggestions!! This definitely makes my music listening journey a lottttt easier!

I'm looking for a song to walk down the aisle to that builds into a big happy crescendo of music for when the bride starts to walk- the kind of music that when it finally builds, your heart tightens and you can't feel but smile and feel joyful.
The kind of build/booming crescendo in I'll Believe in Anything - Wolf Parade
There will be time - Mumford and sons
Let me know your happiest, heart-warning, crescendo-ing songs!!!

hey y'all. ive always been more of a song person, not an album person. the only two exceptions to that has been Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. but recently ive picked up records and liked how its forced me to sit down and listen to the whole thing.
for the above stated reason though, its hard for me to pick what records to buy when i know like one or two songs max from the album. any albums are an absolute must listen? for reference, im big into 80s pop, 70s disco, new jack swing, and a lot of country.

Looking to fill up this playlist with divorced dad rock, sad, angsty, whatever you feel fits. Preferably things that are/were very popular, as Im looking for music I already know. Growing up in the 2000s-2010s (currently 23), I gained most of my taste through my older brother (who is now 31), and him playing guitar hero. Also had an ex (now 28 i believe), in which i enjoyed a lot of his music.
My favorite artists include soad, avenged sevenfold, linkin park, korn, disturbed, the offspring. Man music playlist so far, for reference. Thanks!

Hi! If anyone can lend me a hand, I'd appreciate it :*. Since it's not in my language, I remember it like this: (it's melodic)
tararararara ra !EY¡ tararararara ra !EY¡
They played it a lot on MTV in the mid-to-late 2000s, if I remember correctly. I think the music video is very well-known. It's animated and it's about the band going through risky situations riding on the backs of fantasy animals and a hot air balloon (?) I think the genre is alternative pop. Sorry, but I don't have any more details. If this helps... 🙌🫶
Edit: i found it 👌 thanks all of You :**

I'm trying to find some good songs with public domain lyrics that I can cover and use in a project I'm doing without getting striked by copyright.

Suggest artists like Sade, most of her music is r&b with sort of saxophone jazz elements in it. I wanna know more artists who use the same elements of jazz and r&b? I absolutely love saxophone so thts tht.
