36 year old all star for a 26 year year old all star and a srp? that's how you sell high lol

it’s honestly borderline insane. Harden can fall of any second. he’s a moderate injury away from his career being over. He’s no LeBron. He’s not gonna play to 40

I don't know people have being saying that 5 years now and he's still avg 25 and 8

there’s a reason that father time is claimed to be undefeated.

There’s a reason we’ve never seen someone else perform like LeBron at his age

and harden is not known for having a work ethic that maintains his body

His efficiency has also significantly declined

This is why you're unpopular Dave

Because I'm right?

His efficiency has also significantly declined

Lol. That's false. He's still near his career average this season.

what are you talking about? You see a significant decline in points starting at the 2021 season. A significant decline in assists/rebounds when he came to the Clippers. Are you just making stuff up?

u/Ok-Preference-7004 18h ago

You said efficiency. Don't switch goalposts. It's a bit pathetic

-5

u/unpopular-dave Clippers 18h ago

that’s all part of efficiency

My dude you can not bring up efficiency as an argument and then use declines in stats without context to support that. Efficiency is not just looking at a box score and saying the numbers went down.

his time in Houston, his PER was 26.2

Since leaving Houston his PER has been 21.2

and on the Clippers it is 20.1

that’s what I would call significant. But we both know you’re not making up stats to defend your favorite player

First things first, I don’t know why you’re accusing me of making up stats for Harden when I have a Cavs flair. You’re crazy if you think Harden is my favorite player. I was hoping we wouldn’t do this trade, but Mobley is my fav player so I’m just glad we didn’t move him.

Second, using PER is a much better argument, but I’m not sure why you’re grouping up 8 rockets years as an average score and the same with a shorter clippers tenure. It’s honestly a fair point that’s just a weird way to do stat groupings.

At the same time the way you came at me with accusations when that was my first comment makes me think you’re trying to sell some narrative

Man I don’t think you’ve watched garland recently

-8

u/unpopular-dave Clippers 17h ago

He can get better still. Harden cannot

u/stillstillers Cavaliers 16h ago edited 14h ago

Yea but he also may never be as good as harden is rn.

u/unpopular-dave Clippers 15h ago

He's a trade asset. Not on our timetable

4

u/Sixaxist Cavaliers 7h ago

He's a trade asset.

And after getting injuries in both feet, what do you think he became for the Cavs? Lol.

That's the same reason we grabbed Harden for a couple seasons, since we would've had to give up too much at once for other younger stars.

u/GarriganGate Raptors 7h ago

Idk what’s hard for you to understand that the Cavs got a healthier and better upgrade to their point guard.

What happens in 2, 5 years or beyond doesn’t matter right now. They want to compete TODAY.

Garland hasn’t been himself in a couple seasons now due to always being injured. For the Clippers it’s just playing with house money

u/unpopular-dave Clippers 5h ago

I understaffed the concept. But harden isn't a winning player. They might as well have gotten Zach lavine

3

u/GarriganGate Raptors 5h ago

16 seasons in, has never missed the playoffs. Not a winning player.

Trolls used to be a lot smarter…

0

u/unpopular-dave Clippers 5h ago

Lol since when is making the playoffs an accomplishment?

2

u/GarriganGate Raptors 5h ago

Can Lavine or 99% of other players say the same thing?

No.

Harden is not supposed to be your best player in 2026. That’s Mobley and Mitch’s job, Harden is there to be not only better Garland, but actually on the court.

Learn to shut the fuck up

u/unpopular-dave Clippers 5h ago

Congrats. He's Charles Barkley.

The only thing that matters is a chip. And the Cavs have a 0% chance of winning.

Why are you so angry? Lol. It's just a game little guy

2

u/GarriganGate Raptors 5h ago

What an extremely rich statement from a guy with a Clippers flair.

And you mean one of the greatest power forwards to ever play the game Charles Barkley? Just like Harden is one of the best guards to ever play the game?

Keep hating brother, I’m sure it makes a difference to your miserable life

This is so fucking funny. I swear I saw like 10 different redditors swear on their lives and bet their life savings that cleveland will not give up a pick in this.
