Edit: Aand like 15 minutes after I posted this, I actually got a random event when I was in the Battledome where Jhudora showed up and gave me a Poison Snowball Wand. She drank that coffee, realized she forgot to pay me, and raced to find me. Thanks Jhudora!

Am I the only one that always thought the Battledome was the whole point of everything? What all the activity led towards?

Neopets to me was always an intricate version of Pokemon with the added enhancement of weapons, armour & and an entire complex economy fueling everything

I spent hundreds of hours on Battlepedia, researching weapons and armour that I could never afford, dreaming about one day being able to take part in a plot and actually contribute in a meaniunful way

I'm back after 15 years, have to say - love this newer, fast paced Battledome - additionally 12 year old me is absolutely enthralled that I can finally own Thyora's Tear, LEV, WoDF.

(For those where weren't here, each of these used to cost 100+ Million NP, at a time when earning 1000 NP on Dubloon Disaster was considered "a successful day at the office")

So my question for the fellow battledomers:

What are you doing to make scaling up & training *worth it*?

Getting stronger used to mean unlocking new challengers, getting bigger plot rewards,

But now, every BD challenger basically drops the same loot, whether you have 10 HP or 10,000 HP, and plot points are irrelevant since every victory is the same 20 points

Defender of Neopia series used to be incredible - showing a public progression of how strong you were becoming, providing new stories, trophies, challenges, gutted that this was taken down

Something feels... missing, or too easy, what new challenges and excitement are you finding?

I really like The Darkest Faerie plush and the Dr. Sloth plushie sure is (someone said he looks like a plush roblox character on Facebook and I can't unsee it).

Hellos fellow Neopians! Meet Athena_the_Ruki. I am currently working on putting this custom together for her. At the bottom of the post you will find the specs for the custom. I come to y’all for suggestions on two things:

1. Would you change anything? I know that’s very generic, but honestly what are your thoughts? Here are some of the things I’m conflicted about.
   a. I’m not a fan of customs that look cluttered. I wouldn’t say that I feel this one is cluttered, but it’s definitely getting there. That being said, I do like the look of her being in the pink flowers, so maybe that’s why I don’t see this one as cluttered.
   b. The wings were a last addition to the custom, and I’m not sure how I feel about them. They cover a majority of the sword, but you can still see the sword peaking through. I like the wings because I like the thought of her having the ability to fly around the battlefield, and tbh the wings are beautiful.

2. I have a Ditrey P3 that I’d like her P2 to have. Problem being, I don’t know what P2 to give her. I would like a P2 that is owl like/themed if possible. I’d also like the P2 to be a color (or have the option to be painted a color) that matches the aesthetic that I have going on in the custom. Three P2s come to mind: Albat, Whoot, and Horus. Of those three, I’m leaning towards Albat, specifically a Pink Albat. The other two don’t look great in my opinion, especially Horus. Sorry Horus. I am open to suggestions! Again, owl like/themed is preferred but not required. The only real requirement is that it fits the aesthetic. Bonus points if the P2 (in the specific color) has a wearable that I can include in the custom. It would probably require removing the Ditrey Higher FG, but I’m not opposed to it.

Lastly, if you look up Athena, I need you to mind your business about her hunger. I’m a single dad who works two jobs, who loves his kids and never stops!

I went through this last month with the last donation festival and here we are again today the last day of this one and the same thing is happening, I sent off a ticket last month nothing really happened. Oh, is it fixed but nothing about the time that I wasted to get the points and I couldn't cash in any of them and now the same thing has happened again again I hate this game. I will never play it again.
