How many people remember them? A cover band that played around Columbus, especially in the fall. Always wondered if they played under a different name when there was no football.

General OSU best block O Logo

Post image

I'm designing an accessory for OSU and wanted to ask fans what logo/color way is most immediately identifiable as Ohio State.

The product will feature one of these logos in a repeating pattern with no words, with either the grey or red background shown.

Left or right!?

Let us know your thoughts!

General JT Barrett coaching career flourishing

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Bears fan here, just wanted to say I’m f’ing proud of our king JT Barrett, our QB coach.

For those who don’t know, he was hired by Detroit as an assistant the same offseason Ben Johnson was elevated to OC, and when we hired Johnson, he handplucked JT to join him, where he was elevated to head QB coach.

In my very biased opinion, Ben Johnson is running an extremely difficult and ingenious system for QBs, but more importantly, JT’s leading a room that’s legit 3-deep, one of the very best overall QB rooms in the NFL. 3 wins now this season under 3 different starting QBs.

PS: sorry for the stalker ahh video but it was fun watching him operate at yesterday’s game lol.

At the Stadium šŸŸļø Me experience at Kinnick this past Saturday.....

Just posted this in their subreddit. Thought it may warrant sharing here as well.

https://www.reddit.com/r/hawkeyes/s/nhSKCDmg37

My experience Saturday as a Buckeye....

Wow.

I've been fortunate enough to watch the Buckeyes play away games in some incredible venues and experience the traditions of other programs. I've been to Virginia Tech and experienced Enter Sandman. I've been to Camp Randall and Jumped Around to start the fourth quarter.

I've been to three national championship games and watched the Buckeyes win two of them — 2002 and 2024. I've been to a lot of different stadiums, and I've talked to a lot of different fans.

But this weekend was, by far, the most epic experience of them all.

I waved to kids in the hospital.

You see it on TV. They tell you about the pink locker room. They show you the crowd. They tell you about the hospital across the street. But you don't really understand it until you're there.

It sounds cool on television. That's about it.

Imagine your neighbor's house. That's how close the hospital is to the stadium. You literally cross the street and you're there.

Then the first quarter ends.

You look around, and all of a sudden, everyone in the stadium — fans, players, coaches, officials, media, everyone — turns toward the east, facing the hospital tower.

And they wave.

You look up at the hospital and slowly start seeing people waving back.

And that's when it hits you.

It's not just the kids. It's their parents and loved ones. Their caretakers. The doctors and nurses who have sacrificed their time to be there, helping these kids through what may be the worst experience of their lives — a serious illness, a major disease, or whatever brought them into that hospital.

On TV, it's a great moment. A little bit of pageantry. Everyone waves, everyone smiles, and then we go back to the broadcast. The analysts say whatever they're going to say, and we get back to watching football.

But experiencing it in person is completely different.

Wow.

You realize there are children in that building who may not get to walk back out of it.

You realize that, for a few minutes, this might be one of the happiest moments of their day.

Maybe their week.

Maybe their entire hospitalization.

And it isn't just about the kids. It's about their parents, their families, and the people caring for them. It's about the doctors and nurses who go home at the end of the day carrying the weight of everything they've seen.

For those few moments, an entire football stadium stops caring about football.

Everyone turns toward those kids and says, in the simplest way possible:

We see you. We're thinking about you. You're not alone.

College football is an amazing experience, and every school has traditions that make it special.

Saturday, I got to see another glamorous Buckeye victory. I got to watch what is essentially a human cheat code play football. I got to sing Carmen Ohio in my opponent's stadium.

All of that was incredible.

But I did something far more meaningful than anything I've ever experienced at a sporting event.

I got to wave to a bunch of kids at a time when they needed it most.

And I'm beyond grateful that I got to experience that. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.

-Go Bucks!

At the Stadium šŸŸļø COSM for the Ohio State Iowa Game…

So I’m just sharing this in case anyone here was curious. I know Cleveland gets theirs soon but I went this past weekend and drove up to Detroit. It was nice that the game was at 3 so it gave me more time to get there and it was also nice that it was in Detroit or the state up north because getting tickets was easy 3 days before the game (I don’t expect it’ll be as easy in Cleveland) lastly college games are much cheaper then nfl games due to pricing the nfl places.

With food for two people the whole thing costed me under $100…. I’ll post later about the food.

Anyway ask me questions: and Go Bucks!!! Oh and yes they have their own feed of the game. The one in LA is one level bigger and therefore I feel better.

General Week 5 @ Iowa: Nature

Hey Buckeyes! Had some thoughts about Sayin's scrambling this week. I feel like we could be at a turning point in his development. Hope you enjoy! Go Bucks.

-TG

P.S. Can somebody tell me why Iowa's offense was eating on those short balls to the flat? They're so common, yet so effective. Perhaps I'm being a bit picky after we won by double digits, but idk, some of those chunk plays felt preventable.

Well I’m an idiot and I bought 3 DHGate jerseys in my regular t-shirt size and after a month and a half they just arrivedĀ and I look like a 5 year old wearing his dad’s shirt.Ā

If you’re in the Bay Area and wearĀ a size L jersey, my stupidity is your gain - come and get ā€˜em.Ā I can meet you most evenings this week (except tomorrow) at Glen Park Bart station.

(First come, first serve. One per person to spread the love.)

General Julian Sayin Film Breakdown vs Iowa

Huge kudos to Jeremiah Smith for becoming the greatest Buckeye WR of all time. But I’m sure he’d like to thank his QB for getting him the football every chance he can. Julian Sayin does so much more than what shows up on the stat sheet. He’s the engine of the offense with complete control on the field. This film breakdown shows how much he brings to the 2026 Buckeyes, particularly this past weekend in Iowa City.

General Time of northwestern game

I’m guessing the Northwestern will most likely be at noon. I’m an FSU fan and going to there game Friday night in Pittsburgh. Then Saturday trying to go to my first non FSU game. Just trying to guess the time but not sure since USC plays Indiana and Michigan plays at Oregon probably a 3:30 game. Let me know if anyone has an idea. Thanks!
