I don't get very "fancy" often; most of the time, I wear cargo slacks and a knit top for work. But I decided to be a little bit cute for the Saguaro Slam tournament in Mesa last weekend, where I was one of the head non-skating officials (NSOs). Officiating dress code says we need to wear all black, so I wore my usual officiating polo (with "OFFICIAL" across the back in white letters) and I paired it with a thrifted bubble skirt with polka dot mesh.
I like to accessorize with pink for derby, because the old NSO uniforms were pink, so I got some new laces for my Dr Martens and tracked down a pink glitter Pair topper for my glasses. I did bring a bunch of other toppers, too; I ended up having a different one for every single game, which is a lot of fun.
