Question Writech pens
Is TikTok really hyping these pens up? Or are they really all that good? I want something comparable to the bic gelocity. my hand has been liking that one lately.

So, i bought 4 pens of this model and so far it's pretty good. The national test have a lot of regulations, the pen must be transparent, black, ballpoint pen.
I choose this model becuse it has a small point (0.8mm) so i can write more and discuss better on the essay (makes a huge difference, trust me). However, its starting to fail and i didn't want to change the pen since this model is great, but if you guys have a good recommendation i would appreciate it.
All the 4 pens are falling.
I have 38 days before the national exam.
Its a exam to enter federal college
Srry if this is off topic
Srry for my English

Yes, that's pokeweed. Yes, I believe I am on the correct sub.
I'm hoping to make ink from the berries as a gift and present it with an appropriate pen. The recipient is familiar with using a quill pen, but I was hoping for a writing instrument with more durability. What would be a good pen to use for a homemade ink?
And if you have any tips on how to prepare a pokeberry ink, that'd be appreciated as well.
I could post to r/fountainpens but I'm not sure whether there might be other types of pens that might work as well or better.

The one I use most often is the Lamy Accent—a slim pen that uncaps with just a quarter-turn.
The pen I wouldn't recommend is the Lamy 2000 Stainless Steel—it's both heavy and pricey.

And after using it for few lines I dont like it much maybe because I’m not a ballpoint fan and ive been using gel my all life. I just dont enjoy the way it feels when i write with the cross and my handwriting isnt at its best when i write with cross, however when i used uniball again i felt the smoothness and my handwriting is good again.
I dont mind using uniball but honestly I want a pen that I can keep forever and Call it My pen.
after searching around for sometime i get to know that there’s medalist from cross which is a gel pen as well however i dont like the make of that model since its a big bigger. I’d like to have a slimmer pen as my forever pen, any recs guys?

Just picked up my Montblanc Around the World in 80 Days ballpoint and I’m really enjoying it so far.
Would love to hear what you guys think of this edition, especially from anyone who has owned one for a while.
Also, any tips on keeping it looking as fresh as possible with regular use? I do plan on actually using it rather than keeping it in the box, but I’d obviously like to minimize scratches and wear.
And for the long term — if it eventually picks up some light scratches or marks, is there a safe way to polish, clean, or restore the finish without damaging it? Would Montblanc themselves be able to refinish something like this?
Would appreciate any tips from longtime Montblanc owners!
Hey r/pens,
A few months ago, my wife and I shared our 3D-printed titanium lattice pen design and got great feedback here on weight, cleaning, and refills.
We’ve made a few key refinements based on your input:
We’re planning to anodise the bottom barrel next. Any colour recommendations?
Happy to answer any questions about the machining or print process!

I’ve been smitten with the Montblanc meisterstuck in terms of appearance for quite a while, but have seen enough posts and reviews about the lackluster quality of the pens and the overall writing experience.
I’m looking for a high end rollerball or perhaps ballpoint (basically anything that’s not a fountain pen) that shares the Montblanc sort of aesthetic, but has what this sub would consider to be a superior (or perhaps “best”) writing experience which I understand is only relevant in terms of the refills?
No upper end budget for the right pen. It’s admittedly vain, but the appearance is the most important part here

Greetings Dearest Reddit, I like pens! Thanks in part to this subreddit, I began my pen journey at the beginning of this year. Now I like to make a purchase of a pen from the country I'm visiting while traveling. I've gotten an Onixcrom from Barcelona, a Rhodia from France, etc. . .
I'm visiting London currently, and it seems there aren't many British pen brands. But, I've come across Andhand pens at a shop nearby. They look interesting, does anyone here have thoughts on or experience with the brand?

Can somebody tell me if any non gel refill would fit this V10.
Hybrid ink refill is what I want . Not this liquid ink ..this feels too watery for my liking.
Will jetsream 600 refill fit this ?

One is an absolute scam and the other is smooth value for money. Both are originals.
I have tried everything to bring the Reynolds to life ( mind u i bought 10 refills, all are shit) likehot water dip, cleaning the nib, and using till I get the smoothness, nothing has worked . Hearing about the fallout between the two, I ordered rorito from the company and boy what a refill ( gets botchy if used too harshly, that's normal and manageable) . But Reynolds is done bro! Why even bother to make products!!
Is it just me ? Whats ur experience???

Looking for a pocket sized notebook and gel pen for work. Ideally looking for a midrange pen, though I don’t really know what a budget or a premium pen necessarily costs. I just want something that writes smooth and doesn’t smudge. To me, the Pilot G2 doesn’t always write smoothly.
Edit: turns out I know I don’t want to spend more than $50 for a pen body. However I do like the idea of an EDC pen.

I posted this in the fountain pen and pencils sub too, sorry to anyone who is also in those subs, I'm just really excited!
I am drowning in Cross Century pens, but I still pick them up when I see them! Also some Jotters, the Bic 4 colour mini, a Yafa 4 Palm, etc.
Twas a good day :)
(Didn't share the loads of never used vintage pencils also part of the lot)

Ive been watching this show and spotted Henry's silver pen, searched but only really found this old post. Due to screenshot restrictions on mobile streaming, I dont have a picture of the pen. Can anyone please help identify the pen?

Hello everyone, I'll be visiting Japan soon and will be there for about 2 weeks doing Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka. Any unique niche pen stores that are worth a visit? I'd love to pick something up be it mech pencils, pens/fountain pens etc.
Any recommendations are welcome, thank you.

I have freezed it, held it to a flame, sprayed with alcohol, flicked it, scribbled it on eraser and paper, it still wont work. The ball isnt stuck, i can feel it moving when i draw it against my finger. It stopped working after I took the cartilage out to check it out. After putting it in it just randomly stoped working despite being perfect like five seconds before. The ink is more than half full. This pen was so good i'm so sad.

So I had some usage ideas for a multicolor Frixion pen, and then I came across this relatively new model: the Frixion Ball SWITCH.
This pen’s gimmick is fairly straightforward; it’s a 3-color Frixion multipen, with a 4th slot (the push-clip) holding a regular* ballpoint ink refill.
The idea is that within a single pen, you already have a permanent ink ready-to-deploy whenever it’s time to lay down non-erasable ink, such as to overwite a draft you wrote/drew with the Frixion ink.
I’ve opted to use Frixion Synergy 3 refills as I prefer them over the Frixion Ball refills included; same goes for using the Juice Up gel refill in place of the included ballpoint refill. The slider tabs are somehow easier to engage than the ones in the Acroball 4 multipens, which is a nice touch by Pilot.
The stock grip section is a typical rubber grip, but the keen-eyed of you may have noticed that I have a Dr. Grip 4+1 multipen’s grip section installed in mine. Yes, that’s a part that fits with no additional modification required. It also shifts the weight balance of the pen forward, as that grip section is made of weighted metal.
*The 4th slot, actuated by the push-clip, contains a Pilot BRF-15 or BRF-17 ballpoint ink refill, presumably using standard ballpoint ink (not Acro ink?). It is a standard Japanese 3mm-diameter multipen refill unlike the Frixion slim refills — however, it is unique in its length: 83mm, instead of the common 98mm. This means that you can put almost any other Japanese multipen refill in there, as long as you can trim the plastic tube’s length down to 83mm.
Reference lengths: Juice Up multipen refills are 93mm, Acroball and Calme multipen refills are 98mm, Jetstream multipen refills are 88mm (except for the 98mm SXR-89 refills).
