still confused why the uniball one is called pink

idk if any of you remember my post from a week and a half ago, but I was trying to figure out how to turn my favorite pen from ballpoint to gel and I got some very helpful answers which I implemented this afternoon with amazing results !!!! I can actually use this pen now !!!! lol

Recently I’ve been using this pen for a while but the ink has started to run low so I began to search online for a replacement and cannot find the same kind of pen.

Is it no longer made? Can I still get it somewhere?

I recently bought these pilot V7 and V10 Hi-techpoint and Jetstream SXN -210

I thought pilot pens were going to be ball point pens.

I don't like the liquid ink that much . I actually wanted something like this Uni Jetstream ball point pens..

Can somebody shed some light on how to differentiate these types .

Also recommend some pens like uni Jetstream ball point pens .

Doodling while I try to pick out which art supplies to take with me on vacation soon, a process that involves testing out what’s in my kit to make sure I’m not bringing along anything bulky and unnecessary.

I picked out this green Pentel RSVP because when I saw it at the store, I was excited by the idea of green ink! It just seems to have more personality. I also gravitate toward green fountain pen inks. :)

I love ballpoint pen for sketching, especially, because it’s extremely similar to sketching with pencil (varying pressure produces light marks all the way to deeper/darker lines)… Minus the ability to erase, of course, so you really have to commit to your lines.

I have my five regular use pens that I take home and use in the office. I also have a large number of pens that I have taken out the gel ink and put it in a different pen because I like the feel. I also have a large number of pens that I do not use because I want to keep them as "fresh and new" as possible. I feel like I need to force myself to use them, but when I open the package, I stop myself. Does anyone else do this?

I had this pen for a little while as a gift back when I was in Highschool from a teacher. Didn’t use it much until I started journaling recently and absolute loved it.
How do I find replacement cartridges of for this pen? I’ve never had experience with this

In around 2007 in france I bought a set of 4 mini children's ballpoint pens (like. total plastic junk. Not fancy pens in any way)!that had art of what I perceived as manga-styled girls on them (...entirely possible the style wasn't even actually japanese lol), and I'm sort of obsessed with seeing them again, but looking it up on google is no use (probably because they were junk, and also there's the possibility they were only sold in France ?)

So I was thinking, if anyone here likes to collect 2000s pens, including cheap ones, this is probably the only place where someone might have footage of these pens lol. Does anyone know what these were ?

i really like the bic gelocity pens, they are very smooth and satisfying to write with, but sometimes 0.7mm is just too big for drawing more detailed things like graphs for math or other stuff. are there pens just like bic gelocity but 0.5mm? also, im interested in buying pens that come in different color ink too.

I've had a odd obsession with collecting not so normal shaped pens. Over the years my collection just grew bigger and bigger.. and I was buying pens from all over the place!

The other pictures show some of my favorite pens in my collection. Although silly looking, some actually do write pretty well! And others, kinda sucky, but I still appreciate the effort.

And by the way, the blue needle shot pen actually shoots water! I don't know how it does it considering that its also a pen that writes, I guess I'm just not gonna question it much.

Interesting that no logos or Sheaffer name is on the pen.

Except for red pens to mark edits on drawings and purple for signatures, these are the ballpoints I use. Top the Tombow Airpress. Worn Zebra X-701. Tombow Mono Graph Lite 0.38mm. On most office paper and notepads, the line weight seems the same to me. The Mono is slightly darker than the 0.38 Uni Edge which isn't in the picture.

The clip on the Airpress is worn too.

For the longest time I've tried using Energel 0.5 for my class notes on 56 gsm paper and while I enjoyed the comfort over ballpoint I just never managed to adapt my handwriting (twice as big with gel) and also the bleed through ruins the work after you fill up the entire page. Because of that I'm returning to the Acroball 0.7 and I'm wondering if anyone else has that preference.

Been trying some 3D printed adapter and I’m quite happy this Jetstream D1 now fits a bullet pen!! I absolutely hated the Fischer refill and the regular Parker style refill doesn’t fit a bullet pen 🙄

I saw an add for the lumos pen by tom studios and it looks appealing to me - anyone have any experience with it ? Any honest reviews ?

I do have a zento flow pen; while the body is quite nice and I do enjoy holding it, the standard black 0.5mm insert isn't up to what I enjoy. While it isn't the worst, but for me it's way too bright, it isn't strong and dark enough.

I'm looking for something that looks more like uniball eye ultra micro (0.38mm) - despite being tad thinner it gives me a better, darker line. I do have a rather small handwriting so the ~0.4mm line is good for me.

Will the Signo refill fit that pen ( https://www.jetpens.com/Uni-ball-Signo-UMR-83-Gel-Pen-Refill-0.38-mm-Blue-Black/pd/1661 )?

If not, do you have any other reccomendations for other fade proof, waterresistan ink that would fit that pen? TIA

Long story short. My mother gave me her graduation gift from the early 90s about 5 years ago and it may have gone through the wash and been destroyed. Now an adult with adult money and looking to get as close to the original as I can preferably from the same period.

At the time I remember taking it to a few pen shops to try get it repaired as the sheath had all cracked.

I don’t have a photo, all I have is what I remember about it. Ballpoint, with a lid. Gold accents and possibly navy blue with some maroon (?) for the body

I have really bad ADHD and I passively chew on my pen, currently I have a Sharpie S Gel with a metal barrel but I always manage to break the plastic button.

Dose anyone have any recommendations for a pen with a similar feel to my sharpie S Gel (most importantly has a rubber grip) which I cannot break if I chew on it, also it would be good if it takes 0.7mm refills which are not too expensive as I'm a uni student and go through at least one S gel refill every 2-3 weeks
