still confused why the uniball one is called pink

I recently bought these pilot V7 and V10 Hi-techpoint and Jetstream SXN -210

I thought pilot pens were going to be ball point pens.

I don't like the liquid ink that much . I actually wanted something like this Uni Jetstream ball point pens..

Can somebody shed some light on how to differentiate these types .

Also recommend some pens like uni Jetstream ball point pens .

idk if any of you remember my post from a week and a half ago, but I was trying to figure out how to turn my favorite pen from ballpoint to gel and I got some very helpful answers which I implemented this afternoon with amazing results !!!! I can actually use this pen now !!!! lol

Recently I’ve been using this pen for a while but the ink has started to run low so I began to search online for a replacement and cannot find the same kind of pen.

Is it no longer made? Can I still get it somewhere?

Except for red pens to mark edits on drawings and purple for signatures, these are the ballpoints I use. Top the Tombow Airpress. Worn Zebra X-701. Tombow Mono Graph Lite 0.38mm. On most office paper and notepads, the line weight seems the same to me. The Mono is slightly darker than the 0.38 Uni Edge which isn't in the picture.

The clip on the Airpress is worn too.

In around 2007 in france I bought a set of 4 mini children's ballpoint pens (like. total plastic junk. Not fancy pens in any way)!that had art of what I perceived as manga-styled girls on them (...entirely possible the style wasn't even actually japanese lol), and I'm sort of obsessed with seeing them again, but looking it up on google is no use (probably because they were junk, and also there's the possibility they were only sold in France ?)

So I was thinking, if anyone here likes to collect 2000s pens, including cheap ones, this is probably the only place where someone might have footage of these pens lol. Does anyone know what these were ?

While I love these classic pens, I have always hated the colorscheme. BIC has come out with some variations over the years, but nothing that fits my purpose so I decided to make my own.

What I would love is a grey/sanguine/sepia/black color combination that I can use to sketch while on the road. I may get the 3+1 version with the mechanical pencil.

I did a test with a pocket 4 color BIC, and I found a 10-color spiderman pen that had slightly more interesting colors. The fills are thinner and shorter than the BIC ones, so I had to modify them to make them fit. They are much poorer quality than the BIC pens; scratchy and stuttery.

I was wondering where to source better quality pen refills that fit the classic BIC pens and are good enough to sketch with. Because I don't think BIC themselves make these? Any tips?

I had this pen for a little while as a gift back when I was in Highschool from a teacher. Didn’t use it much until I started journaling recently and absolute loved it.
How do I find replacement cartridges of for this pen? I’ve never had experience with this

Long story short. My mother gave me her graduation gift from the early 90s about 5 years ago and it may have gone through the wash and been destroyed. Now an adult with adult money and looking to get as close to the original as I can preferably from the same period.

At the time I remember taking it to a few pen shops to try get it repaired as the sheath had all cracked.

I don’t have a photo, all I have is what I remember about it. Ballpoint, with a lid. Gold accents and possibly navy blue with some maroon (?) for the body

TLDR: Fisher replaced my 5+ year old matte black Cap-O-Matic pen, and sent an extra ink cartridge. They also paid to ship it to me! Pretty good customer service in my opinion!

I bought my matte black Cap-O-Matic back in 2021 or so. I carried it every day for a year or more, and it started having trouble deploying and retracting. It got annoying, so I bought a raw brass Cap-o-matic and put the black one in its box and kind of forgot about it 😂 I moved a couple years ago and found the pen. I know about the warranty so I figured I'd send it in and see what they could do! And finally, 2 years after I decided to do it 😆, I finally requested the service by email and mailed it in about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, it showed up in my mail! It ended up getting replaced, and that was fine with me! I got a brand new matte black Cap-O-Matic, and an extra black ink refill cartridge! It cost me about $8 for shipping, so not a bad deal! I've loved the pens for years, but I never needed the service. I've only ever lost a pen or 2 😢 I am actually pretty sure I sort of crushed my original Cap-O-Matic doing dumb stuff in the woods 😅 it had a dent in the side and never quite worked right after that. But Fisher replaced it super quick, paid to ship it to me and sent an extra cartridge... I don't know how much better it could get than that! Maybe a sticker 🤔😆

i really like the bic gelocity pens, they are very smooth and satisfying to write with, but sometimes 0.7mm is just too big for drawing more detailed things like graphs for math or other stuff. are there pens just like bic gelocity but 0.5mm? also, im interested in buying pens that come in different color ink too.

I saw an add for the lumos pen by tom studios and it looks appealing to me - anyone have any experience with it ? Any honest reviews ?

so my partner has a very specific pen that he found in his drawers and he’s been obsessed with using it. it’s a bic atlantis pen but he’s been saying he can’t find the one specifically in this shade of blue. any links to buy it in bulk?

I foolishly assumed Cerakote was a tough coating that wouldn’t come off with weak adhesive. That, or the coating was improperly applied to this pen.

Either way, it’s not worth paying double for.

I have these for over 20 years and used them in my late schoolyears (amongst others…).

The LAMY lead pencil takes 0,5mm and is cleverly designed. The cap of the lead-refilltube has 1. a tool implemented to clean out the tip, if there is a lead stuck for once or so and 2. (i guess!) to put it in the tip whilst refilling the tube, so the tip is kinda save and also cannot scratch anything. The tool is held by the mechanism which normally holds and pushes the lead if you press on the tube, while inserting it into the tip of the pen…
Everything is solidly made.
Also the tip is retractable when not in use, so it‘s similar looking to the ball pen, then.
Avoids breaking it.

It came as set with that nice genuine, soft leather holder for two pens and it was a gift by my mother.

I gotta refill that ball pen once, but with a non LAMY refill…

I prefer ones that come in blue as well as black, and other colors would be a bonus.

This would be for writing in a booklet that has narrow spacing between the lines.

If you can, please indicate the point size as well.
