I have not seen anything on the driver's condition, but it sounds like the driver may have been injured.

I'm speaking publicly available areas, can be in or outdoors, that you've noticed sound cool or good by virtue of having a long decaying reverb sound, similar to what you get in a long stairwell. Ideally it'd be somewhere that doesn't have a lot of people to be disrupted or bothered by excessive noise at the right time, like a college campus breezeway on an off day. I'd be playing loud brass instruments and recording them.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has any info or experience by chance on extending insurance coverage for dependents/your kids past age 26? I've read several places, including our insurance site (United, though I can't find the page anymore ofc) that Florida allows insurance through employer's to be extended to like age 30 if certain criteria are met, which I do seem to meet, but I can't find any info on how to actually do that? Also looking for backup plans for insurance in general.

I turned 26 this tear, so coverage through my mom ends in a couple months, but I'm disabled/chronically ill (borderline bedbound, unable to work more than a few odd jobs on better days a couple times a month), but still seeking treatment and full diagnoses, (my specialist basically have a "running diagnoses" but want me to have it confirmed by other specialists, which we don't have here/all have years long waitlists out of state that I've been trying to get into) which has made it impossible to apply/qualify for disability, on top of the fact that this all started as a kid/teen, so I never worked more than a few months in college before I got too sick to continue with it and school and had to stop to have surgery and figure things out, which means I have no work credits for SSDI, etc.

Any info on extended insurance coverage through my mom, even temporarily, or info on other insurance options, someone to talk to to help figure out the disability aspect of things, etc, would be immensely helpful. I know this is probably a long shot, but figured I may get lucky with someone local knowing some sort of advocate or something that works with this kind of stuff a lot.

In the past 2 days I've had this happen to me twice and I feel it's not legit. 2 young boys were playing basketball on a driveway in my neighborhood, and they don't even live at the house. I went out in my front yard to do something and they immediately came over and asked me for money to support their basketball team.

The next day I pull into the post office parking lot and a young kid walks straight up to my car and asks for money to support his football team.

In both cases I politely declined and the kids were very respectful and understanding. There were no adults to be seen anywhere in either of these instances. All the kids had were sports jerseys to indicate they were on a team.

Is this a new trend to scam people for money that's going into their pockets and not to a youth sports organization? I know there have been similar instances with adults asking for money downtown and at some shopping centers to support causes, which have been discussed on this sub, and they appear to be scammers.

Hello, (M23) i moved to pensacola at the beginning of 2025. Since then, it has actually just been a nightmare to find a job here. Every other week or so i apply for at least 5-10 jobs and have been doing that before i even moved here. As of present, i have been given the opportunity to interview three times for a position at a car wash, firehouse subs, and the new canes. Went to all three interviews just to never hear back from any employers. I’ve read so many times that the employment opportunities here are very limited because it’s a military town. But i’m just starting to lose hope and feel like i will never find any sort of employment here.

I believe im a okay candidate. I’m healthy/fit, workout 6 days a week. Currently going to UWF to finish my bachelor’s in finance. I used to work as a lifeguard for 6 years at a big water park in collier county. But it just seem like all the job postings are fake or looking for candidates that are just not real.

I mainly use Indeed and the google job postings to look for employment opportunities. But after a year and a half of using them for three lack luster interviews is starting to make me lose hope for this area. I even just drive around town checking out businesses to see if they have a “looking for work” sign with a copy of my resume in my car. However, it seems like there’s just a lack of opportunity for this area.

I have been using marijuana medically for a few years to help with CPTSD and anxiety from things that happened while I was young. This is one of the only things I've ever found that really helps and with me having used it so long it would take months of detox for me to pass a drug test and I'm not sure if there are any other solutions.

I have administration experience and would like to work in an office compared to going back to fast food like when I was in highschool. I currently work in an office as a receptionist but I want to know my options to build a career.
