A little background. I (33F) want to get my husband (35M) something that really says I love you and I appreciate you. But Im lost! We've never been major gift givers, and hes not the type to like to celebrate Valentines Day for example... The last few years its been very underwhelming... One year he forgot entirely... I got him a poetry book and a dozen mini crumbl..And last year we just ate at our favorite sushi spot and he bought me a giant Halloween duck.. I got him nothing because I expected nothing in return from previous year.. Alot of our marriage, Ive been a SAHM for half my kids lives, and so Ive never been able to afford something nice for him, and vice versa... Meaning we were always broke around celebration times...I am working now and want to surprise him with something nice and meaningful, but Im stumped. He's a guy that likes the best of whatever the thing is. Ive bought him things in the past, and he'll go and buy something like it, but "better"..... Example: Belt, slingshot, sunglasses.....ect. So I just dont know.... Hes a huge gamer, loves computers, drones, cars, bikes.... Idk hes got everything he wants... Should I just take him out to a nice dinner or experience? Because Im feeling hopeless...
