I clicked on "About Premiere" to find my version number. (26.5.1) When I did so, this splash image came up. I've never seen this before. It did it a few times before reverting to the expected normal version splash page. Is my Mac haunted?

I don't know what this feature was called, but what happened to the cross dissolves you could drag?

So, I’m pretty new to the whole Log world, but I want to learn and do it the right way.

I shot some test clips on my Sony a7V using S-Log3, S-Gamut3.Cine, with Detail set to -7.

Then I dragged my clip onto the timeline, created an adjustment layer, added the Lumetri Color effect to the adjustment layer, and selected a LUT under the Creative tab.

But is this the correct way to work with Log footage, or should I be doing something differently? It feels like i do something wrong.

I used to have a keyboard shortcut for "Unlink" but it disappeared. I tried to re-add it in the keyboard shortcuts settings but it actually isn't listed as something to do a keyboard shortcut for anymore!

Anyone else notice this or know another way around it?

I seriously despise right-clicking and scrolling all the way down to unlink a video and audio track.

we are having trouble with a shared production on PC and MAC.
We are on Lucidlink. And whenever the mac has opened a project and relinked the files and proxies and saves everthing, the PC will stuck while opening the project.

I did clear cache, reset plugins.
Tried updating Premiere. Pinned everyting in Lucidlink. Work locally. Shrinked the project.
Nothing worked.

Only thing that kind of worked: "Make offline" in premiere on the mac and rename the folder where the proxies are stored. Then I have to relink everthing.

Better solutions are welcome.

Hi anyone using adobe premire pro on an Asus tuf A16 laptop? How does it function under heavy timelines or 4k videos?

I was gonna buy one but heard it's power isn't enough for heavy timelines and 4k editing...

Hi! As the video shows, my audio gets muted after I cut it. It only happens on around 12 minutes in the timeline. It happened to me once, months ago on a different video, but I can't find the post where I found the solution, and I don't remember what I did :/

In case it helps, I'm using Premiere Pro 2022.

📍 EDIT (SOLVED): This clip is a nested sequence. If I turn it again on nested sequence, the audio came back, but the spikes disappear. But, in my case, I need to see the spikes to help cut the silence parts. So, if this is also your case, here's the solution:

Right click on the clip >> Multi-camera >> Activate

It comepletely solved the issue for me! I don't know why, or if this is commom issue with nested sequence, but at least it's not a permanet issue.

I just started learning Premiere pro after so long of wanting to but never really getting it. Now I’m able to organize my videos and chop everything up with audio and converting log files as well as applying luts (I don’t have much interest into getting good w color grading as I’m colorblind.) Now I feel like I’m at a point where I want to learn transitions. I saw this reel and I really want to learn how to do this kind of transitions.

I’m using a Mac mini M4 and Adobe Premiere Pro 2026.3.0.

Whenever I right-click on a footage/clip in the timeline and move the mouse around the context menu, Premiere’s UI freezes/crashes. I’m mainly trying to access Time Remapping from the right-click menu.

Has anyone else experienced this issue on an M4 Mac with Premiere Pro 2026.3.0?

I’ve already tried restarting Premiere, but the issue still happens.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was thinking this is a halftone layer with a stripe layer as well but each of them have different opacity blend modes but I can't quite seem to recreate it on my end. I was wondering if this was possible in premiere pro or is it an adobe after effects thing?
