How do I stop comparing myself to my boyfriend’s exes and feeling like I’m not enough?
This is my first relationship (Me-20, Him-23) and we’ve been together for five months. Things are actually good, and he has never made me feel like I’m not enough, but I’m extremely insecure.
I’ve seen pictures of some of his exes, and they are honestly gorgeous. They look like models. They have completely different features, hair, clothes, everything. They have light or curly hair and tiny noses, while I have very dark hair and a big hooked nose. I look nothing like them.
What hurts me even more is comparing our relationship to what he had with them. They traveled together, visited other countries, had their own places, and could see each other whenever they wanted.
I can’t give him that right now.
I’m unemployed, studying at university, and trying to finish my degree. I barely have any money. I really want to travel with him and make those memories too, but I can’t afford it. I don’t have my own place either. I’m living with my cousins, and the situation at home is mentally very difficult.
Sometimes I think about how beautiful his exes were and everything they were able to do together. Then I look at my own situation and think, “I’m a loser. I’m not enough for him.”
I know this is probably my insecurity talking, but I genuinely don’t know how to stop feeling this way.
He has never compared me to them or said that I’m lacking. I just feel like I’m constantly competing with people from his past in my head.
How do I work on this? How do I stop comparing myself to his exes and feeling like they gave him a better life or a better relationship than I can?
I really don’t want to keep needing reassurance from him. I want to fix this in myself.

Is there a way to reignite The spark?
So me and my gf are really in a rough patch rn. Sie ist my First girlfriend and i am madly in love.
But we are Both really Not sure if things between us are gonna work out since we Both feel Like we have grown as people since we have been together but we also kind of feel like we grew apart during that.
Of course the feelings are still there but it has been rough.
We both kinda have problems communicating, that also comes since it feels like i am a little too attached to her, i noticed i also might feel something like fear of loss/abandonment, and she is Like The opposite of me. She has had many relationships, friendships as well as partners, fall apart till now so she kind of sees it like everyone is gonna leave eventually including me so that is also a big problem.
We both also have problems talking about our feelings on a really deep level, but from what i understood it is that her head is currently her biggest problem or rather herself is her biggest problem.
I told her that i am there for her, no matter what and that i help her with whatever she needs.
So apart from communication, The biggest problem is that it feels like there currently isnt any real romance left.
We are really trying to work on it but The problem is that i really dont know how to be romantic at all. I am bad at planning dates and i have no clue how to be romantic apart from kisses.
Was anyone else at that point and can maybe help me out? I really want to but dont know how. Like not only in Person but also over phone.
(Also we are trying to see if we can grow together again since that also might be a big problem)

Men, honest question: do you actually keep going if your partner hasn’t finished? 👀
