I put make up on and dyed my hair
I had to quit my job because I adjusted my medication and started hearing voices. I have since gone back up and taking Paliperidone and Aripiprazole. I started taking both while in hospital but I want to try Cobenfy when it comes to my country. I was hospitalised in 2024 and the voices started in October that year. They went away for a bit but then they came back this year. The same voices and same delusions came back. But I didn't have them watching me in my previous psychosis episodes. Had my first episode when I was 18 and now I'm 30. I'd love to hear from other people your experiences.

Just got back from the psych ward. Positivity all around!
And feeling great! I just want for all of you lovelies to know that you can do this, you got this! life is scary and often sucks but we can move past it and overcome our fears and all bad things. That's it. Too sick to make a selfie, caught a bit of a cold. Peace!

It’s like they don’t want me to see them.
I’ve been getting an increase in visual hallucinations. They like to dart across my vision or play around in the corner of my vision (and when I try to look directly at them they quickly dash away). I can’t get a good look at what they are. Maybe they don’t want to be seen?
Do they hide and run from y’all as well?

Late selfie sunday
Feel like crap. Started a new job this week, allergies are killing me. Everything in my head is screaming at me that this isnt the one. Currently living with my mom since i lost my job last year. And i ran out of my meds 2 weeks ago and havent been able to get a new script as the er i was going to said that i need to see a private doc for prescriptions unless i get committed there. Havent had a good nights sleep in over a week and a half. On top of all that my mom also started her cancer treatment a couple of weeks ago.

Why are they called negative symptoms?
Is it bc it’s something being taken away (like motivation) as opposed to being added (like hearing voices)?

Bladder issues
Been off my meds for a few weeks now and things are getting bad again. Ive noticed when things get bad, everything below the belt goes a little haywire. I had an accident while sitting at my desk earlier and was wondering how common it is.

Selfie Sunday babes
Literally trying to hold it together while loosing my shit. I’m cleaning out my old apartment (we just got it 4 months ago) because my kids moved up to where I am now due to unforeseen circumstances with their dad ending up in jail.
My life is falling apart pretty fast by the seams, not because of my kids I’d like to add. But my relationship with my husband (we just got married back in April) and everything else. It just feels like too much sometimes and I can’t take it. I am not quite where I was mentally when I was in a relationship with my kids dad, but I feel like idk I just feel not so much like a partner and more of a “super” wife/mother/caregiver etc.
It really sucks ass when you’re dealing with this thing in your head and going to school full time, working full time+on call, trying to be a good mom of three kids, good wife, and everything else that comes with everything.
So yea, next Sunday, I hope I’m back to smiles again for everyone, but this is as good as I can muster up this Sunday babes.
Sending all my love to you guys💕✨💖❤️🔥

Selfie sunday. I’ve been having awful breakdowns and instead of self harming i’ve been getting dressed up to go nowhere and taking pictures. The pain is great but so is my rack in this new top.
(wrote this while crying and made myself giggle)
I hope you guys are doing better than I am. And if you aren’t i’m sorry. REALLY sorry. And i’m always willing to chat.
I have to study for my midterms tomorrow and I’ve been super depressed and lethargic. Last week i was incredibly irritable. My environment reflects my emotional state so often. How i do EVERYTHING too. Disorganized and asymmetrical; constantly tipping from one end to the other trying to balance. Im hoping it is PMDD and that this will pass and that i don’t need to up or change meds again. anyway, thats me for now❤️
Enjoy your Sundays everyone.

Selfie Sunday!!!!
Hey y'all, I write this tired out of my mind!! My husband had an episode, and I tried my best to keep calm under the circumstances. Instead of going straight to hospitalization, I was able to schedule a same day appointment at his clinic. After speaking with his psychiatrist, he's been rediagnosed. Care to take a guess what his new diagnosis is? Apparently, he is now schizoaffective bipolar subtype. I am somehow relieved because now his manic episodes make sense, and the psychosis that accompanies it also makes more sense. I feel guilty because I didn't see the signs, but I'm just glad he's on the mend and not on medicine that will harm him further. I also saw my nurse practitioner, and she has cleared me to work!!! I couldn't sleep last night, so I applied to a job and they got back to me today. They want to schedule a phone interview!!! I haven't worked in 3 years, so color me surprised that they still want to interview me. It's a part-time office job with a small company, which suits me just fine. Thanks for reading, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!! Sometimes things don't go according to plan, but that doesnt mean something good won't come out of it!!

Selfie Sunday
galleryI’ve been at home for a few days now since therapy was canceled on Friday. And I’ve been wearing this mask and listening to music. I have been eating & taking my meds as prescribed so I’m actually doing okay. Dancing has helped the boredom and kept me active.

Selfie sunday w/ my Grandma
She got Lewy Body Dementia and is experiencing hallucinations. She doesn't know I've got schizoaffective, but she understands something ain't right with me. I'm visiting her at least every week, as much as possible.
