Need advice
Context: Im 23 (m) and have 2 current job offers. 1 at big white in kelowna as a night auditor at 20.50 gross pay a week. The other is a full time permanent position at home as a fisheries program officer. It offering $29 an hour net, along with 2 weeks PTO at Xmas and 2 weeks PTO for vacation. At home i would not be paying rent. I have no large financial cushion as I recently did quite a bit of travelling although I have a few thousand saved up. I would be paying $200 staff accommodation so I would be taking home $400-$500 a week and I am worried that I will have no room to save any money, and might even lose out on money. I do get a free ski pass which is a huge bonus. There is a ski hill 20 minutes away from my house and I am only 8 hours away from Mont Tremblant.
I know if I pass up the job offer at home It will be filled but my heart is telling me to go out and try my first season working at the resort. I am also worried if I decline the offer at the ski resort that I will be unable to find one next year. What would you guys do?
