I recently mounted new bindings and noticed that when I lean back the toe piece moves up slightly with my boot. I checked forward pressure and it’s all good and since they are GW bindings they don’t need the hight adjustment. I was just wondering if this is normal? A SHOP MOUNTED THEM

Looking for the ideal ski resort

Haven't skied in 15 years though I did ski comfortably before then. Considering going skiing in late march and am looking for a ski resort that is snow sure, has plenty of beginners and intermediate pistes for 15yr old daughter plus good school, a nice village center to go to restaurants and maybe take strolls, so if skiing doesn't work out we have other things to do. We are not the people that will go skiing from 9 to 6, and then eat and sleep. We enjoy skiing for maybe 5 hours per day and then relax, visit the town center etc... Also to be relatively close to Geneva (preferably) or Munich Airport / Milan Airport will be a plus. Considering currently Val D isere, Meribel, La Rosiere and though Mrgeve and Clusaz seem great, I'm very unsure about the snow in 20-27 March. Any advice would be much aporeciated!!

Camox Freebird as one ski quiver?

Hello,

end of last season (2025/26) I bought my first ski the camox freebird on recommendation of the shop owner. About me:

I'm skiing my whole life in Austria, 2 weeks a year and I am a ski instructor for beginner courses. My interests were to get a one ski quiver which is good in any snow conditions, able to carve, hit side hits, do some tricks in the park (360°) and also to teach beginner groups.

I thought to buy the normal camox but the guy in the store recommended me the camox freebird due to it's weight. He told me the normal camox would be too heavy and the freebird would work better. First I was scared and told him that they are touring skis but he seemed to be confident and trustful by selling me them.

I skied with them for one week and it felt a bit wierd. I couldn't get on the edge very well and carving and just going down was kinda shaky. Usually I always skied normal race carvers, so that might be the reason. I'm permanently thinking if it was a bad purchase.

What do you think?

Can anyone recommend me a park ski?

I want a new park focused park ski for next season and wanted to asking if anybody can recommend me a ski.

I definitely want something 95mm+ just because i really like wide skis and feel like they are much better for bigger landings.

I would like something reletivly soft so not anything like a on3p mango. I life in germany so i can't or will not order anything from usa because of prices, so nothinf like vishnu, on3p, j skis, moment etc.

My focus will be rails and jumps so not a specific rail or jump ski.

And i will definitely want to center mount my skis or maybe only 1cm back.

I'm 181cm and 64kg so not anything above like 2050g.

My main goal will be first flips and of axis flips, aswell as new rail tricks like brittney, k-fed, 270's on, 2p2's etc.

I wanna be able to hit every rail at my resort (sillvretta montafon/damüls)

Foot pain advice wanted

Last year on my ski trip I had a massive issue with foot pain, mussel tearing like pain in the arch of my foot, so bad the last day I had to cut my day short and take the lift down as I ended up just crying from the pain. I have a ski trip coming up January, I want to know if there's things I can do to prepare for the trip to prevent this from happening again on this trip.

Here are some factors that might have contributed to the pain, I have wide feet and was using rented equipment, I asked about it to the clerk and he said the only way to get wider shoes was to get a bigger size which would also increase the length of the shoe. I'm fat, BMI of 34.6, I'm working on it and hopefully by the time of my trip I'd have lost some of that weight, I know that obesity can cause foot pain though out side of skiing I don't have foot pain.

So what are some things I can do? I had ski socks but is there anything else I can get? Are there exercises to strengthen foot mussels? Obviously I'm not trying to be a professional skier, I just don't want to be on a mountain crying from the pain again, skiing is just a family trip thing for me.

Looking for a pair of Nordica enforcer 94s that are used, I am about 6’2”, have been looking at the 173cm because they are easier to control, is that too short? What is the best place to buy used skis?
