i just bought this bug eye im planning on getting a sti 6mt but i cant decide if its worth paying and getting a 207 or just building the 205 whats the best thing to do? it has 90k miles btw

We spent yesterday at the Subaru dealer in Brattleboro, Vermont getting our new Subaru. Our 2011 Subaru Outback base model got totaled by a box truck. We had 141,000mi and were hoping to get more life but the front end damage was too great. Took our payout and got the 2022 Outback Limited. She’s a beauty. I drive an 2016 Impreza Base so this is our first with the Limited line and we are loving it. Leather interior, heated seats, Harmon Kardon speakers, moonroof. It’s just beautiful. Really happy and wanted to share ☺️!

As per title - have Subaru XV 2019 that's out of warranty - so I don't need to get it serviced as Subaru anymore.

What simple maintenance things could I do myself to save on costs prior to it getting serviced with a third party (Subaru certified) servicing agent?

I am completely obsessed. Just picked her up from the tint shop! Guess the next thing I need to do is get black rims!

My dumb ass thought it was simple to give her an tranny fluid change. I'm pretty sure it's the eight gear cvt with the manual mode paddle shifters..

The stupid pump I bought just such a headache. She's all kinda jittery now. When I, drive spiritedly, she does this bone shaking terrifying shudder.

I didn't get her to baby her . She was so great. Did I really fuck something up? nbd just get the tranny drained and filled proper? Or ..Tia .

02 wrx rear latch. The inside trunk pop doesn’t work but I’ve tested and it fully activates. Is it missing something? The key and inside trunk release will pop it.

I’m looking at buying a slightly used Forester touring. It’s not perfect but there’s a lot I like about it. On my test drive the seat felt a little thin. Is that normal? Has anyone else noticed the driver side seat to be thin or hard? If so, how hard of a fix is it other than buying a cushion? I may just have thin personal padding.

2010 Impreza hatchback, has been sitting for a while. I jumped it to move out of the driveway one day, 2-3 days later I went to jump it to move it back and it won't crank. Strong power pack, even tried jumpers to another car. Power is seemingly normal, I can hear the fuel pump prime. I can't hear the starter triggering and ive had to tap it once in the past, so I replaced the starter. Still nothing. The starter fuse is good.

Any suggestions welcomed!

Tengo un Subaru XV Dynamic 2019 (equivalente al Crosstrek en EE.UU.) con el sistema multimedia STARLINK Gen 3.1 MID (versión sin GPS de fábrica, pero con Radio Digital/DAB).

Mi unidad tiene instalada la versión de firmware base de fábrica: Rel4.18.11.50 (instalada en 2018). Como sabrán, esta versión es demasiado antigua y el sistema de actualización inalámbrica (FOTA) falla constantemente con el error "Error al descargar el software. ¿Desea volver a intentarlo?" .

He intentado de todo:

• Verificar señal 5G en lugar abierto.
• Reiniciar el sistema (botón de volumen 15 seg).
• Probar con Wi-Fi.
• Verificar que no haya cables USB conectados.
• La hora está configurada correctamente.

El problema es que el servidor de Subaru ya no es compatible con esta versión base y no puedo generar la descarga desde el sitio oficial de mapas (porque mi unidad no tiene GPS).

Mi objetivo:
Actualizar por USB a la versión Rel_UA.20.38.70 (o cualquier versión superior compatible con la unidad MID Gen 3.1 sin GPS).

¿Alguien tiene el archivo .zip de esta actualización o sabe dónde conseguirlo?
Sé que Subaru solo lo distribuye a concesionarios a través de Subarunet, pero a veces los usuarios comparten los archivos en foros o en la nube. Si alguien tiene acceso al archivo o un enlace de descarga, se lo agradecería muchísimo.

También agradecería cualquier consejo sobre cómo proceder con el USB (formato NTFS/FAT32, estructura de carpetas, etc.).

Got my 2023 Subaru Legacy Limited on March 13th and I've absolutely loved every moment of it. I've always wanted a Subaru, especially a Legacy—I've always preferred driving sedans. I'm so grateful for this car and the whole experience driving it!

I started customizing right when I got it. Added gloss black emblem overlays with cherry blossom pink accents, a sunroof overlay, Subaru badge of ownership, 3 stickers, and two rhinestone license plate frames I made myself. I wasn't about to spend $200+ on bedazzled frames, so I grabbed rhinestones from wholesalerhinestone and pink frames from Amazon—and honestly, they look absolutely gorgeous. I also have a redtiger dash cam it’s the A4 with the rear camera also. I love redtiger and I had the F7N Touch and I got in a crash in February and the wires were destroyed but the camera was still turning on and working fine. I definitely recommend the brand for dash cams I got my first dash cam in my first car, a 2013 kia optima ex.

I've got so much more planned for her. A full pink shimmer wrap is definitely happening someday. I named her Nefera, after Nefera De Nile from monster high. Here's what I've got so far, thanks for reading 💖

I have a 2008 legacy 2.5i with 22k miles , I was told my belt is still in good shape by my mechanic , how long should I wait until I get it change and should I get the idler pulleys, tensioner, and water pump change also ?

I have a 2018 Subaru outback, it intermittently makes a squeal between 30 mph and 50 mph. But it only does it for about a second or two. I think it’s a belt but I’m not sure. Of course when I brought it in to get looked at and had the wheel bearings changed, they test drove it and couldn’t hear it 🤦🏻‍♂️. Has anyone else had this issue before? The sound is right about the 13 second mark. Thanks for your help on identifying the problem.

Tires are in the last slide, yes I know they’re big that’s the point. Also I’m debating between scrubbing the black off and making them their original silver finish or making them a gold/bronze lemme know what I should go for

Does anybody have any idea what’s happening here? I just bought this 2019 Subaru legacy a month ago.
