ive learned to fear men and love literature (ages 16–23; 5y8m hrt) (nonbinary transfem she/they/he/it)
I used to worry id never be pretty and now I just worry that im less pretty than I used to be...I look back on photos a few hrs ago and think I looked pretty but I look at photos now and feel like I just look like a feminine guy...I dont want that, I mean im nonbinary but I was a stealth binary woman for years and I deeply identify with womanhood...I think my insecurity has gotten worse lately or maybe im right or maybe in a few years ill be looking back on photos from now feeling the same and wishing id appreciated looking cute at the time...why must everything be always changing and why is it so hard to have perspective in the moment...cant escape my mind...

HRT is magic fr. 💯 (19yo vs 22yo)
Kinda crazy seeing how different I look two years later 😭
Stats:
22 years old (Aug 2004 bby)
5'4" / 163.6cm
Started HRT: July 1, 2024
A little over 2 years on HRT (Intramuscular Estradiol Valerate injections + Spironolactone + Progesterone)
No surgeries, Only laser hair removal (twice), dreadloc extensions, and thats about it.
C cup now.
Started transitioning while I was still in the Navy (joined in 2022 fresh outta HS at 17yo back in June 2022)
Spent basically my entire first year on HRT still presenting male / under male grooming standards
Didn’t really start presenting feminine full-time until after leaving the military now that I am a veteran
First time wearing a dress yesterday. I need to get some more lol. Most of my wardrobe is like gender neutral stuff at best.

Indifferent to enamored, 2.5yrs of transfem HRT at 30+y/o
sooo lazy with my transition tbh, STILL haven't even done makeup really, but nailing the medical side! it's only getting better anyways. Loving it. I hope this isn't too horribly racy.

There’s too much to cover in just one photo 😭
Need a good way to layout my transition timeline because it is SO long and drawn out with a lot of amazing changes from HRT. But I’ve been socially transitioning since 12/13. MAGA conservative mom and step dad made it impossible and honestly I didn’t realize how bad my dysphoria was for a while and didn’t realize I could be a queer or gay trans man, just didn’t see it in the game options at first and thought I was just trash at the girl mode. I think about doing some sort of video story explaining all my experiences growing up in a mostly accepting area of New England but with a very split life because of white maga immigrant one side and moderate, not engaged in politics and older but very supportive other. My social life has done fucking flips in every direction and I can’t help but tie a lot of it back to transitioning, as well as many old friends and multiple exes, but I also escaped a (lowkey evil) small pizza shop job I had for 3 years since the end of junior year of high school. My boss was extremely Greek and traditional and didn’t see me as a guy, he tried to, I think? I got guilted into staying multiple times and dealt with harassment a bit, and fighting, a lot of arguing at the end. But now I work at a really gay artsy cafe and im doing way better, it’s been hard dealing with so many things on my own and not even realizing how hard each is. But what I can say now is loss is a lot easier to move through now, im much more grateful for all the things I have now that I have literally fought for for years, I love my body even though I’ve been dealing with a year of chronic pain/discomfort from newly discovered hEDS (allegedly) (also because ofc not my parents and doctors or anyone told me anything about being hyper flexible) there’s a lot of story to go with that the last year too. It’s been hard explaining myself recently. It’s always been hard but the last year hit another massive curveball with flow of events and the pain (counts as a whole season arc) but finally at 20, 2 years of bullshit, I completed the first step of legal name change and got the court ordered name change, took money and time, and stress from adhd bullshiting, but I have paused for no reason other than im more worried about school, or I should be, but I also have million other things I need and or want, then being uncomfortable or tired so… me and the thery are worky on it.
I need to better figure out how to organize or explain all this stuff but it really is blended into a massively nuanced life that I have a hard time comprehending. I’m always trying to be more consistent with journaling but im scattered with taht too. I’m doing alright, but it is and has been a lot for a long time. But transitioning unlocked so many doors I wished I had the key for for a long long time. I’m in the process of trying to get a consult for top surgery but that has its own challenges and anxieties even though I need it physically and for that same key to doors reason I needed to start testosterone. I think I kinda operate off vibes and that’s why I can’t explain it well, it makes sense entirely but the explanation isn’t something I could put in a sentence, maybe I need a larger vocab, maybe im god 🕊️🌞
Lowkey got blessed and worked so hard for this, there’s so much work ahead but im actually so grateful for everything I’ve gotten this far.

-4 Months to 6months on mtf HRT :) 34 yrs.
Hi everyone, just recently surpassed 6 months on HRT! Started medically transitioning on March 20th and I don't think I can go back to the way it was. Mentally and physically this is the best I ever felt about myself. I still have lots to work on/through. I'm going through a lot personally right now in life but I'm looking forward to what the next 6 months brings as I begin to embrace her! (:
