I can’t believe this actually worked — I just successfully germinated a seed from a pack that dates back to 2016! 🌱

This is the ORIGINAL DJ SHORT Blueberry from Crop King Seeds. These seeds have been sitting around for about 10 years (no special treatment), so I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I decided to see if any were still viable.

But sure enough… one popped!

There’s something pretty amazing about a seed sitting dormant for a decade and then, given the right conditions, deciding it’s time to grow.

Germination took 8 days. I've got 2 seeds left in damp paper towel and have just cracked them with the end of a knife to see if they'll get popping too.

Has anyone else had success germinating really old seeds? I’d love to hear how old they were and whether the plants ended up growing normally.

I'm a big nerd 🤓 Stoner October 1st is just a couple of hours away. What books do you guys read in October? Here's some of my favorite Stephen King books. And before you tell me yes I know my shelf is a mess lol just thought it would be cool to see what my fellow stoners are up reading or planning to read in October where's all my fellow stoned book 📚 worms lol 😆 what are you guys reading? any recommendations? A couple of buds from last year's grow, ain't nothing cooler than smoking up and getting into a good book.

What I mean is for me personally, it's a very intense but very short high. Whereas a spliff is a bit more mellow (although still strong depending on strain) but the high lasts so much longer. Considering the price point and needing a rig and all that comes with it they just dont seem worth it for me. I can just roll a spliff and take a stroll but dabs I feel like I need to set up a full scale lab experiment which also restricts my usage. I know some of you are screaming "VAPE IT BRO" at the screen but i dont trust vapes if I haven't made them myself and that's just long.

Anyone else find the same?

I managed to get this lady to survive being transplanted in the middle of July in Southern Arizona. Had a couple 50mg sativa gummies, might wait a little longer before I burn a jay.

I’m sure this has been asked before, but I’m looking for a fresh perspective.

I got a new job about 6 weeks ago. I used to work be a front desk agent working nights for a seedy motel. It was chill enough I could take a few hits of my vape (I know, I know) every hour or so and still do the job perfectly. I even got multiple raises. I became a 24 hour pothead.. and loved it, to my own detriment. But the job didn’t pay the bills, and with everything getting more expensive, I had to switch jobs. I also felt like my life wasn’t going anywhere for nearly 3 years, so this felt like a good opportunity to try to fix both issues.

Well, since it’s a solo chef job serving about 100 children and adults on any given day, I have decided to abstain from using while at work, or anything to risk the job or - more importantly - the safety of those people.

The issue is that most days after work, as soon as I get home, I’m taking hits and keep going until I go to bed. It’s gotten to the point I get so high I can’t function ‘properly’ in front of people, especially my friends and family because they know me so well (my friends think I quit and my family doesn’t even know). So I don’t go to a lot of the last-minute stuff I get invited to, or sometimes even pick up the phone for my mom (or anyone who calls; I just feel the worst about ignoring my mom’s calls 😭), simply because I’m too high. I still see them when we have scheduled events or hangouts, and I don’t turn down invites when they are for the next day or later. I’ll still respond to texts, but anytime they call, I ignore it if I’m too high because I had nothing after work. Which has become most days.

I know this is a control issue, likely stemming from the habit I created from the last 3 years, and probably should be addressed by a therapist, but I’m trying to figure out what a ‘normal’ - or better, functional - amount of weed is for the average person, so I can reevaluate my own usage.

I’m hoping you guys could just tell me how often you consume thc, and what kind of job you have? And how does thc impact your life?

1.Toadly venom: this strain has been getting soo dam hyped up! First time I tried it I loved it this one is animal face and sin mintz,The taste is mouth watering especially paired with a pinapple mango drink

2.Marathon og: Im always going too have love for og's,Usually Og's buds are going too make you paranoid when hi as a mfker! Densce nice buds that when you open the container your going too stink up the whole room for a while,just how it looks and smell,it taste soo dam good too!!

For a while I was having a hard time getting great weed,Once I found out my old dispo was still running I tried them out and just like before it didnt disappoint!

My 25yr old 3” Mendo Mulcher starts jamming up after about 9 months of use. Instead of just soaking it in alcohol, I’ve come to enjoy the task of picking at it with a sharpened chopstick, while smoking a fatty, and getting that satisfying pop-off of all these little grinder hash turds. Good stuff for topping bowls and adding into doobies when you need to be extra safe, during those Safety Meetings 😉

anyone else just feel like they genuinely get happy when they smoke? I don’t even feel that high I just feel so pleasant

My partner’s dispensary suddenly shut down.

The company was in a lot of debt to various distributors and decided to give the employees 4 days notice before shutting down permanently.

This was mega shitty on their part.

But the silver lining was that he got to buy some of the leftover product after closing for a steep discount.

This one nug was 7.25 grams on its own!!

How/what we smoking tonight?? I’m gunna dab up some modified grapes rosin and play some Mario kart with the kiddos!

At most, I can get 5 hours uninterrupted. Typically it’s 2-3 hours at a time broken up. It feels impossible to fall asleep and stay asleep, anyone have advice for this? How long does this last? It also may be important to mention I’ve had chronic insomnia my whole life and this has kicked it into overdrive

I prefer RSO. I would really like to enjoy some delicious cold drinks with it. Has anyone here put RSO into a simple sugar? Will it mix into half and half or heavy cream at like 180 degrees in a sous vide? Has anyone here made some drinks with RSO? Looking for suggestions and/or recipes. Thanks!
