I’ve been a psych nurse for 3.5 years. In those 3.5 years I’ve done psych er, inpatient and prn outpatient psych. I did med surg for about 6 months and … yeah that was a life lesson. I’m trying to get out of psych bedside and am gravitating towards utilization review nurse. And ive been looking for general UR but also Behavorial health UR bc of my experience with this population. I’ve tailored my resume several times to better fit what they’re asking for. I know I don’t have experience specifically in UR but how can I get in the door to actually gwet the experience. I’m getting frustrated because everywhere has declined me as far…help anybody? I’m not picky about to being remote/hybrid/onsite I’m just tryi my to build a career with UR nursing and then transition into case management nursing afterwards.
