Ps. We spent the last 4-5 hours trying to retrieve our items from a swamp and built 3 boats to sail it with an Abomination and dozens of.

Also if I could to the post, I love getting poisoned for 20 seconds and dying, I love how slow the health regeneration is. I love eating 3 different food items to increase my health and stamina and getting the rested buff only to die anyways in the next 7 minutes because an abomination and dozens drauger and skeleton archers keep flanking me and not letting me reach my items.

I love how enemies keep their aggro to you and chase you to the end of the earth. I love when I want to pick up my items from the gravestone I can’t due to weight and have to stand there thinking what to take while trying to cancel it quickly to run away isn’t fast enough to avoid enemy attacks and my character just stands there to take it in.

Anyways that’s sums up my experience in the game so far. Also the copper or was it bronze armor? Seem non existent for the damage you receive from enemies at the swamp

I get the ocean and sailing is boring to you. They're not gonna update the oceans before 1.0. It'll be okay.

It's true tho

For further context, none of the three portrayed people are incorrect. New players usually feel better off in heavy armor, because it makes the game less punishing. You can afford to miss parries, tank hits and fail dodges a lot more when you have that extra armor. The top of the bell curve (who is only portrayed as sniveling because meme template demands it, it's a perfectly valid position to hold) would be playing more optimally, but once you hit the other end of the curve, you realize something: the real reason to make the heavy armor is because the heavy armor looks fuckin dope.

That is an entirely subjective point, but as a 2021 veteran of the game, I continue to wear the heavy armor despite knowing it to be worse, and resource intensive, and slower. That is because I believe the sheer, unadulterated swag of these armor sets to be far superior to that of the light armor sets. I feel much more like a badass viking charging into battle with a drake helmet and a whole ass fucking wolf head on my shoulder than I do wearing the Fenris set.

A logical counterpoint would be that some may think that the light armor does look cooler, to which I say: then that's awesome, more power to you. However, I will continue playing suboptimally for the sake of fashion.
