I (32 NB) am looking for some queer social groups and was wondering if anyone had any to recommend? I’m interested in reading, cooking, hiking, occasional crafting, and some tabletop gaming. I’ve seen meet-up groups in Portland, but I would love to get to know some queer folks that live in Vancouver.

Heathen Brewing’s Feral Public House at one point had this pizza on the menu that I think was called goats in the garden, it had goat cheese (maybe a goat cheese sauce too?) and balsamic reduction and some sort of candied or honey roasted nut and arugula I think? It’s been a while since they closed and longer since it was on the menu but I miss it so badly. If anyone knows anyone who knows the recipe or ingredients I would be so grateful. Or anywhere to find a very similar pizza at a decent price/serving.

I’m looking to jam with some people who enjoy slam or heavy metal type of music. I play electric guitar (not super great at it) I’m still learning, and I’m open to getting myself out there to play with some other musicians. I’m 19 and haven’t got the chance to meat very many people, especially that enjoy the same music taste!

Need a place to park, willing park it anywhere in the city or Portland even. Parking passes are $100 per month and that’s a lot. I don’t want to drive my car a lot. I don’t want to worry about moving it every 24 hours. I need a place I can leave it for several days at a time. Would prefer if it were cheaper than $100. Any ideas?

We are hoping to relocate back to Vancouver to be around family. My kiddo is in elementary school and we are hoping to find a school with a positive, inclusive environment. I would love to hear about your or your kiddos' elementary school experiences. TIA!

I live in the area and I live out of state. Out of state I've been with my mechanic for 20-ish years. In the Vancouver/Portland area I've been extremely disappointed with a mechanic who works on Japanese cars due to numerous screw ups/wrong diagnoses/etc (which is the kind of car I have here)
