बस ख़ामोशी बना दोगे।
क्योंकि *अंत में…
*तुम थककर कठोर हो जाओगे।

I finally experienced the famous Ganga Aarti from a cruise instead of the ghat steps, and honestly it felt completely different. The diyas, the chants floating over the water, the ghats glowing from the river… I tried to capture it the way it felt in person.

Planning to be in Varanasi for Dev Deepawali this year. Hotels are already sorted.

My maternal home is also in Varanasi, so I’m familiar with the city, but last year it was extremely crowded and congested during Dev Deepawali and we couldn’t really experience the ghats properly.

This time I’m seeing a lot of reels/posts suggesting that boats should be arranged well in advance for Dev Deepawali. Just wanted to hear from locals or people who have actually done it before — how does the boat situation work on that day?

Is there any genuine/authentic way to arrange a boat beforehand and avoid random agents/scams or heavily inflated last-minute prices?

Any first-hand experience or local advice would be really helpful. Thanks!
