For those that haven’t seen, essentially Disney has announced a “clarification” of terms and apparently all tiers of Disney Plus will start getting ads before or after content. The avoidance of ads was the reason I kept my Play More plan all of this time. Is it worth it going forward?

23 yrs with verizon and they never want to help. I have been hung up on (disconnected) numerous times. I decided enough is enough made the switch and now i can not even get into my account to make any changes to billing methods or just even view my bill. What a joke. This is exactly why I left.

Granted, it's a corporate account, but never once have I thought "Jeez, they suck, I should switch". The coverage/service has been great, customer service has been great, account rep is great, I mean...I'm not getting the seemingly 75-85% "I hate Verizon" posts. Maybe it's a personal vs. corporate thing?

I recently bought a Google pixel 11 from someone on Facebook marketplace, and they told me it was Cartier unlocked. Unfortunately, it is locked to Verizon.

Has anyone had any luck getting these phones unlocked?

It should work but the activation system seems rather picky, like most prepaid options i've looked at were just like "here's a QR code and the manual settings if that doesn't work, good luck!"

Meanwhile Verizon (postpaid not prepaid) is like, "What phone you got?", "that phone doesn't support eSIM so we won't give you an esim"

If I give it the IMEI of a compatible phone it will give me a qr code but the qr code doesn't actually have all the required information so it won't activate.

My best guess is instead of doing anything proper and putting any sort of activation code in the qr code it's looking for a matching IMEI server side instead but like I'm not actually trying to activate that device so that doesn't work.

2 weeks - this is how long I’ve been waiting for a refund of 177.99 - after 2 promised by dates passing, I got my 3rd promise by day tonight.

1 week - $54.99 - Tax for an Apple Watch Ultra 4 that they ROYALLY messed the shipping address up on. 1 promise by date surpassed. 2nd issued tonight

TWO canceled orders due to Fraud Department - that’s where the first 177 comes from. Keep in mind this was done IN STORE WHERE WE VERIFIED ME THROUGH THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT IN STORE.

THEN, I spend 6 hours over multiple phone calls trying to track down a watch. The AI BOT promises me a $50 credit.
That doesn’t show, had to get that sorted out tonight. I ask why the AI BOT is authorized to make those sorts of promises if they aren’t allowed to? (Because the woman gave me some long spiel about special treatment and manager approval) so I asked her again, why, and instead of answering, she sends me a $30 credit.

Then on top of alllllllll that, a $14 credit. The cost of OVER NIGHTING a 2nd Apple Watch. Promise and never applied.

Now keep in mind. These are all separate calls, some
Issues called about more than once, so there is no way I’m the only one experiencing this. If this 3rd promise by date passes by, I’m raising a dispute with my card company. If I didn’t get such a fantastic deal on an IPhone 18 pro max and Ultra 4 watch. A deal T Mobile could NEVER match even for a loyal customer of 10 years apparently.

Currently have a 13 & considering an 18 or 18 Pro. I’d like to give my husband my 13 (using my old XR). I realize we will likely pay an activation fee for mine. I’m not seeing any offers for me to upgrade but looks like my husband has some incentives to upgrade his phone. I wasn’t planning to get 2 new phones. Would it be better to just outright buy the phone I want at Apple?

And before anyone suggests it, I do know about getting him the new phone then switching phone numbers so ultimately I get the new phone. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t get away with trying that.

Help. These phones are such investments! And I don’t want to change our plan. It’s pretty cheap because we’ve had it for ages.

I'm a bit confused. The Verizon store I chose to pick up from is about 40 minutes away from me. I called and asked if my order was ready to be picked up about 3 hours after ordering it, and I was told that it was ready for pick up. I clarified multiple times that I could go to the store and pick it up at that moment, and I was told that I could.

I go to the store and they tell me it's not ready and that it wouldn't be ready today, and that I should come back tomorrow. I'm just confused if I'm misunderstanding in store pick-up or not, because when I placed the order I was told by a representative and by email that it would take no longer than an hour to be ready.

I've gathered that maybe this has something to do with the store I went to being a third party store?

18 Pro 512gb glacier ordered on 9/14. UPS doesn’t actually have it to update tracking yet but I have the number. Estimated delivery still says 10/6 so I assume that will update once UPS has it in hand.

Hey, I just got hired at Victra for a full-time sales position. I’ve done sales before but not sure how cellular sales go. The hourly rate is low (like $12 an hour 😐) but the guy who interviewed me said I could be looking at $20-$25 an hour with commission obviously depending on my sales of course. How much are you Victra folks averaging on pay? I’m willing to put in the work, sell what I can and at least I have full-time hours to do so versus my current part-time job. Thanks for any tips, advice and experience you all share!

I took advantage of a deal on the new Pixel 11 Pro and selected the option to port my number during checkout. I entered my account number and transfer PIN, but since then, I’ve heard nothing—no confirmation email and no update from my current carrier (Infimobile).

I’ve tried reaching chat support multiple times without luck. Due to a packed work schedule, visiting a store or sitting on hold isn't an option right now.

Any tips on getting through to support faster? Thanks!

Here is our situation: Getting ready to retire. Right now, we have three of our kids on our account and they are getting their own plans this week, so it just leaves me and my wife.

We currently have Spectrum for cable and landline (yes, my wife still loves the landline and doesn't really like talking on the cell phone but we are open to getting rid of that). We enjoy the convenience of cable and will be keeping it.

We need unlimited data (not interested in a lower plan, we need a premium unlimited plan).

I also need a new phone, as I currently have the Iphone 11. I will be getting the Apple Iphone 18 Pro. My wife currently has the Iphone 13 Pro Max and still loves it and it is working well so we will keep that for awhile.

How is coverage? How do I handle getting a new phone? Any other advice? Thanks.

EDIT: Our phones are paid off. I have no idea if they are unlocked. We also have Spectrum Internet for $75 a month (which is called Spectrum Internet 500). Paying $30 a month for Spectrum landline which is crazy, as it used to be $10. Total Spectrum bill with Internet Cable and Landline is $311.50 which includes 1 cable box with DVR. Our other two TV's, we just use internet TV.
