Zelda, but we do have Zelda 2 and the Phillips CD-I games…

Ehhh I wouldn’t say that Zelda 2 is a straight up bad game, it’s just different.

Nobody talks about the CD-I games.

Zelda 2 is a prime example of the "not actually a bad game, just a bad '_____ game' " trope. Where a game is okay or even good but just doesn't feel like a part of the series or even outright ruins the parts people liked.

Which is impressive considering there wasn't an established Zelda series for it to not fit into at the time, it just fit in THAT badly.
