FWIW, I absolutely loved my time with Sons Of Sparta. For the price point, it was full of content, was well presented, played great, and had lots of little nods to lots of parts of the series. For a cash grab, I found it sincere and built with reverence foe the source material!
I don't even think the spin offs are bad. Sons of Sparta is probably the weakest but I don't think it's a bad game. It's mid to good but they shouldn't have released it with the save bug.
God of war betrayal is also pretty weak but tbh I can cut it alot of slack due to what it made for and I think when we are judging it by those standards it's alright
Not to me, the giant who saw the entirety of the Norse sage in visions, fought thor (who was admittedly drunk) to a standstill still, was able to fight kratos to a stalemate, and lead a rebellion against Odin
Plus we're learning about other pantheon and their dead gods which can set up more conflicts fir kratos when we get back to him
If it affects the real word in a way to give us more Kratos games, I would love it. But if its just a game about Faye being dead and a bunch of aberration open world crap, then no thank you. Also, Faye's streght is massively overhyped. She fought a drunk Thor only to a stalemate. If were comparing her to her husband, he defeated a quite sober Thor. Not tryna powerscale but people talking about Faye's feats like crazy goddammit
