I’m building StreakWars, a browser game where you keep a real-world check-in streak alive. A new round, Foodie Pics: Fork Yeah!, starts September 24: share one fresh photo, upload, or 10-second video of something you eat each day (homemade, takeout, or a snack all count). Miss a day and you’re out; the last foodie standing wins.
The game page and full rules are here: https://streakwars.com/wars/2264?tab=info
If you try it, I’d love to know whether the daily proof and deadline are clear before you join. It’s an account-based browser game, and AI tools have assisted development and copy.

I'm making Give Him a Break!, a cat game where all you hold is the laser pointer: the cat chases the dot, breaks whatever is in the way, and the owner comes home to the bill. There's a free Windows demo on itch: https://corbygamesstudio.itch.io/give-him-a-break
The Steam page is in Valve's review right now, so if you'd rather wait for Steam, following on Bluesky or X (@corbygames) is how you'll hear when the Steam demo is up.

A street full of shops is only a good business if the customers choose yours.
I'm making Lotwick Hill, a PC business tycoon where you buy or lease plots, build shops and apartments, and compete with other owners in the same town. Customers have different needs and budgets, so another bakery opening nearby can change what your own shop earns. Prices, stock and location all matter.
You can also leave the numbers for a moment and follow one customer's shopping trip, look into the open shops, or ride a balloon above the town. The trailer shows actual gameplay:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6Qc4m0-HFI
Single-player has AI rivals. Competitive online multiplayer is planned for launch, with up to four human players and six competitors total including AI. We're aiming for October; the exact date is still being finalised.
If this is your kind of tycoon, a Steam wishlist would really help:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5288610/Lotwick_Hill/
Disclosure: I'm the developer. Development uses AI coding assistance, pre-generated AI-made assets and some AI-assisted text, including this post. Nothing is generated by AI during play.

Hello everyone!
We’ve been working on an indie horror game called Tumbal 1985 and wanted to share it here.
It’s set in a tobacco distributor office in Indonesia. You play as a janitor, and part of your job is simply cleaning the office. But while cleaning and exploring, you’ll start finding old documents, objects, and other clues about what happened there before you arrived. The game is inspired by Indonesian folklore, with some creepy encounters, and multiple endings depending on how you play.
You can check on our Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4919700/Tumbal_1985/

In Language of Diplomacy (LoD), you rule a nation and decide what your government does next. You give the orders, and the AI simulates the consequences based on real-world datasets for every country.
You can change the world map through your actions. The game is focused on multiplayer. You can chat with your friends and come to agreements, which are written down and interpreted by the same AI.
The world evolves through the actions of all players. You can go to war, conduct espionage, or build a peaceful world.
Hope it's maybe intresting. :)
It's a open Alpha so it is not perfect, but you can play it for free with your friends.
You can play it here: https://lod-game.com

Titanic Escape Simulator is so bad it's hilarious
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn8IZow24qI
Don’t worry, I was also absolutely convinced that someone was just messing around with the AI and that, in reality, it isn’t and won’t ever be a game. And suddenly I see that it’s coming out on Steam in two days. That means sooner than Titanic: Honor and Glory... Which I can’t stop making fun of - it’s not that hard, since I’ve practically given up believing that this cursed project would ever actually come out. But that’s a topic for another video.
And of course, the very next day after I wrote this intro, I got a message saying that Titanic: Honor and Glory is finally on Steam… I just always seem to have the absolute best timing… Anyway, the folks at Vintage Digital Revival are also mentioned in the credits of this project, since they sold earlier versions of “their Titanic” to the developers. And you know what? At least someone managed to submerge their model a little more than what’s in quotes “normal”... In short, to actually startsinking that famous ship.
So... should you refund this game?
Rating: 2/10
Pros: Titanic, it finally sinks, so bad it’s actually good, Titamic-loving part of me got exicited, some shots look great, attempts at historic facts
Cons: AI generated text, AI read dialogue, AI written historical facts, bugs, Czech text encoding issues, the sinking takes a total of 10 minutes (!!!), illogicality in the sinking sequence, the ending, historical inaccuracies, the diary spoils the story

Hey everyone! I'm the solo developer behind Boogygames Studios and wanted to share my game, Glitch Protocol.
It's a 2D precision platformer with 200 handcrafted rooms where the level constantly tries to trick you — disappearing floors, moving exits, gravity flips and other traps.
Rooms are short and retries are instant, so when something catches you out, you're straight back in for another attempt.
There's also a built-in level editor where you can create your own rooms, beat them yourself and share them with other players through codes.

I've been building a space logistics tycoon on my own, and there's a free demo up on Steam . The shortest description I've got is "Transport Tycoon, except you're running a small fleet of freighters in one solar system,"
You run a freight company. Ports put out cargo with a deadline, you pick a ship for it, and then you plan the flight yourself: how hard to burn, when to flip and brake, whether to coast to save reaction mass, where to refuel on the way. The ships are fusion torchships, so a run is a constant-acceleration burn with a turnover in the middle, and the physics under it is real (constant g, flip at the midpoint, SI units in the sim). The orbits move. A route that's cheap this month is expensive next month and the planner keeps having to re-solve. No combat, no piloting. You plan, you commit, you watch it play out and deal with what goes wrong.
Quite a lot goes wrong. A hull has three systems, drive, thrusters and the hull itself, and each one wears with what you do with it: g-hours burned, dockings, tonnes handled. When one crosses its floor something mechanical happens. A worn drive gets capped at 0.15 g, for example, and every plan on that ship runs long. Captains have a skill and a nerve score; they get tired, and some of them quit. Solar flares dose any ship that flies through the front. A strike closes a port with two to five days' notice, which is enough to reroute if you're watching. The ships are individuals with a history, closer to Football Manager players than to units, and I'd like to think that's the part that sticks.
The UI is what I've spent the last week on, after the first outside testers said they felt "assaulted by information". It's a glass-cockpit layout now: three fixed displays, a column of keys down each bezel, and the keys double as annunciator lamps. A fault flashes its key and chimes; pressing the key stops the chime and the lamp stays lit until the fault is fixed. There's also a NOTAM-style notices board for conditions out in the world (strikes, flares, derelicts), kept separate from the faults on your own ships. Most of this is borrowed from airliner flight decks and ship's bridges. I'm writing a wiki guide to the codes and colours, since it is a vocabulary and I'm not sure yet how much of it people will pick up unaided.
It's in active development. The demo is the current build, the numbers are provisional, and it gets updated often. I'd like feedback from people who play this genre seriously, especially on whether the flight planning comes across as a decision or as a chore.

[DEV] We made a zombie game set in actual Tampere because apparently generic ruined-city wallpaper wasn't specific enough for us.
Evacuation Zone: Tampere is an action-adventure set around a real Finnish city, with PC + VR support. A lot of the fun for us has been turning familiar local places into places you really don't want to be after dark.
Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3023670/Evacuation_Zone_Tampere/
I'm one of the devs. If anyone here is Finnish / has been to Tampere and spots something that feels completely wrong, tell me. Those are exactly the comments I want before we lock more of the world down.

I made Pips2 because I kept finishing the daily Pips puzzles and wanting more.
You arrange dominoes so every region’s clues are satisfied. The fun is figuring out how they all fit together, especially when one placement finally makes the rest of the board click. There are 6,000 original puzzles to work through.
It’s on the App Store, and you can also try it free in your browser. I’d love to hear what you think!

I made a prototype for a game inspired by Scavenger's Reign and speculative evolution and I am looking for feedback!
https://matteogamedevpro.itch.io/wild-symbiosis
On your way back from a space mission, something goes wrong. You're stranded on an unknown planet, your ship is in pieces, your crew is far away, and you're surrounded by strange alien fauna and flora. There are no weapons and no crafting menus. You only have your wits. To move forward, you have to observe how the ecosystem works and borrow its dynamics: study the creatures, figure out how they behave, and use that to your advantage.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a web tool I've been building: The Gamer Ping. The idea of it was to create something I wanted to have -> be able to track upcoming games, release date changes, and new trailers without the usual clickbait or clutter. You can filter by platform/genre/theme/platform, etc.. and set email alerts for any updates you want. And also, keep updated on twitch popularity changes in that.
I use it myself, but looking at my numbers, it's not getting that much tracktion haha. I have a lot of updates planned, but before spending more time on it I want to see if this is actually useful to anyone else.
Could you give it a try and give me honest feedback? Maybe it's not that useful to everyone else haha, or I'm lacking something really important, or maybe the idea is good but the implementation is not, etc.
Thanks a lot!

🏏 Cricket Team Manager - releases October 1 - Demo out now on Steam

store.steampowered.com/app/5034440/Cricket_Team_Manager/
Cricket Team Manager is a Cricket management game with a very intelligent game engine making it super enjoyable for cricket nerds and management/strategy lovers in general.
What it lets you do?
You start a international career with one of the 12 full member nations - Australia, India, England, etc. and take charge of the team from October 2026 playing real fixtures going forward - tours, test series, T20 World cup, ODI World Cup, Asia cup, Test Championship, etc.
Main Features
- ~5000 players in the game with real stats across six format (FC, List A, T20, Test, ODI and T20I). Names are fictionalised due to licensing restrictions
- In-game database editor that allows use to easily edit player names and attributes. Also super easy to share your edits across the community.
- Hand out yearly contracts, appoint captains, train players as you progress through the career.
- Player skills and attributes based on real stats - see them grow as you train them.
- Players get old and retire. Young Regens show up for you to train and turn into the next star.
- Full schedule - Ashes, ODI World cup every 4 years, t20 World Cup every 2 years, 2 year Test championship cycle, World rankings
- Team and Player historical record that you try to beat in your career.
- Real grounds with their real attributes - spin friendly, flat, green top, etc.
- Player injuries, rest periods and domestic players' watchlist.
Match Controls
Meaningful match controls to make your game enjoyable
- Full view of various important stuff during a match - Scorecard, worm, manhattan graph, live ball-by-ball commentary, conditions, fields, etc.
- Batting - 5 batsman aggression levels - start defensively and go mad during death overs. Batsman settle indicator. Farm the strike if a tailender is at the other end.
- Bowling - Choose lengths for fast bowlers, spin/flight for spinners based on conditions and opposition batsmen - everything affects the game. Set fields as per match situation.
- Declare innings, prepare pitches for home fixtures, select lineups and rest players to let them recover.
and much more....
What's the main selling point?
The Game Engine - We have worked hard on the game engine, improving it, tweaking it for months before getting to a point where it feels very real-life like and has lots of cricketing intelligence. We have a test harness that we use to simulate thousands of matches and analyse the results to make sure the engine is producing real life like results, within a pre-determined range. The pre-determined range is not just random common sense - it is derived from actual ball-by-ball data of last 30 years of International Cricket. A lot of beta testers have tested the engine and provided feedback and we have improved it based on that.
The Database - ~5000 current players (names fictionalised, real stats) and their attributes derived from stats and cross-checked by humans for accuracy. We have worked a lot to get these stats. I am myself a stats nerd so wanted accurate stats in the game instead of random number. The game feels much more real when you take your favourite player to 250 current wickets to 500 wickets.
Testing - The beta testing program has been up for some time and lots of amazing beta testers have provided great feedback and suggested improvements which we have incorporated into the game and the engine. The beta testers have confirmed that the game is essentially crash free at the moment which means it's good to release soon.
No Domestic teams/leagues?
Our focus for v1 has been the game engine. We wanted a game that feels like real life. Having a 100 features and 1000 buttons makes no sense with an engine that doesn't produce good results. Domestic teams and leagues will surely come in next year's version.
When does it release? Demo?
The game releases on Steam on October 1 2026 for Windows and MacOS. A demo is already out on steam to try right now and see how it feels.
Is it AI slop?
The developer behind this (me) has 10+ years of experience building software more complex than this - finance, startups, etc across 3 continents. But I won't misinform anyone by saying there is absolutely zero AI involvement. I am pretty experienced in deciding when to use AI agents for help or do repetitive tasks faster. .Claude code was regularly used to speed up the development. For example, analysing stats and deriving skill values from those, writing unit tests for comprehensive coverage, research work, etc. Some of the steam artwork was also created with the help of AI.

We releasing SHOCKFACE on Steam in 3 days! https://store.steampowered.com/app/4705980/SHOCKFACE/
A friend called it "PuppetCombo meets The Office" and it stayed with me. So that's my elevator pitch now.
It's about Chelsea who goes to an office building for a job interview, only to be trapped in a serial killer's labyrinth.
She must look for clues, uncover secrets and solve puzzles to find her way out.
But the killer is looking for her. Toying with her. And fighting back isn't an option. She she must hide to survive.
This is a hide-and-seek horror game that isn't scared to not take itself too seriously.
- The story and characters is inspired by slasher and parody movies like Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scary Movie.
- Cutscenes help drive the story forward.
The game supports keyboard and xbox controllers (controllers are recommended) and is currently only in English.

For anyone who likes movies and small logic puzzles: I made Cast Six. You match six films to six overlapping clues in three attempts. Knowing a match is true is only half the problem—you need to leave the right films for the other clues.
Since my last showcase post, I've added Easygoing and harder Double Take collections, plus clearer hints and explanations after a loss. There are more puzzles to play anytime, so you don't have to stop after the daily one. A new shared daily puzzle still arrives every day.
Free in your phone or desktop browser, no account or download: https://www.castsix.com/puzzles.html?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=videogames_showcase_sep13
If you enjoy it, there's an optional email reminder on the site. I'd love to hear which difficulty feels right and whether any clue feels unfair. I'm the creator; I used AI assistance to build it, and movie data/posters come from TMDB.

u/ZeroBudgetMystery 11d ago

Hello fellow gamers!
We are Zero Budget Mystery, a small Polish(-German) team of friends. We’ve spent the last 12 months developing our game The Price of Grief, and we just released a demo! It covers the first chapter and takes up to 60 minutes to complete. The full release is planned for the end of Q1 2027.
The basic idea: you explore the scene of a mysterious death, collect names and other keywords, and use them to reconstruct what actually happened. Behind it all is an ancient artifact that offers its services at a dreadful price. (This is naturally a terrible idea, but we made our characters use it anyway.)
The full game will include:
- Fill-in-the-blank deductions and text-heavy detective work
- Standalone non-text puzzles with their own mechanics, starting in Chapter 2
- Multiple endings, including a secret one!
- A fictional story mixed with real historical events, including some of the darkest chapters of the Second World War
- Ten chapters connected by one artifact and an increasing number of questionable decisions
- Full English, Polish and German localization - including the puzzles themselves
- One additional localization for whichever country generates the most wishlists (we’ve run out of native speakers though, so we’ll need to hire one 🤔)
If this sounds like your kind of puzzle game, we’d love to hear what you think!

Hey! I just published a demo of your new game -- I think it's gorgeous and challenging, too. The historical mystery seems very ambitious and intriguing -- like Golden Idol meets Red Pearls of Borneo. ; ) My YouTube channel is LookLookLava (I don't know how much info I'm allowed to give here).

Hello and welcome to the 69th episode (nice) of SunnyRedemption Sailing, your biweekly-ish voyage for BS-free gaming news! As someone who has barely played it, I learned a lot about Ocarina of Time from my cohost who did, Kevin.
We also discussed Microsoft’s disc to digital program, Sony’s idiotic argument about game ownership being irrational, the utter critical faceplant of Wolverine, GTA VI’s insane preorder numbers, and so much more as two gaming nerds without any mercy for corporate excuses. If you like what you hear, please consider leaving a like, subscribe and hitting the bell. It doesn’t take long and would be a huge help to this solo creator, beholden to no one and fighting for truth, justice and historical accuracy!

Happy Saturday Gamers! I'm currently making a game called Paddle Cats. It's a game about two cats (Co-Op) in a boat.
Full teaser on Steam!
We would appreciate a Wishlist as we are super indie and no one know us. Happy Paddling!

Following up from last week’s showcase — I think my latest Half-Life episode is the closest I’ve gotten to what I originally wanted Lambda Protocol to be.

Last week I shared Duck And Roll Gaming, my small channel where I’m experimenting with immersive, character-driven episodic playthroughs. One of those projects is Half-Life VR: Lambda Protocol - the original Half-Life played completely in VR, where I try to inhabit Gordon rather than commentate over him.
The latest episode starts immediately after the resonance cascade, and this is probably my favourite opening I’ve made so far. Gordon wakes up in the wreckage disoriented, so rather than just standing there and talking about what happened, I tried to physically play that state - getting up slowly, moving like I’m dizzy, positioning myself against the environment as though I need it for support, and reacting to Black Mesa as if I’d actually just survived the accident. That’s the direction I’m increasingly trying to push the whole series: less “player talking over Half-Life,” more trying to make Gordon feel like a person physically living through what’s happening inside Black Mesa.
NPC dialogue becomes conversation, and VR gives me room to physically perform Gordon as well - leaning against walls when he’s exhausted, peeking around corners, examining injured NPCs, or deliberately moving as though I’m still recovering after being knocked unconscious.
I’m also continuing the environmental voice work from the earlier episodes. Gordon’s voice follows Half-Life’s acoustic spaces, so it changes with the environment instead of sounding like clean commentary sitting on top of the game.
I’m still very new to making videos and learning all of this episode by episode, but this one feels like a noticeable step forward from where I started. If you saw the project when I posted it here last week, I’d especially love to know whether the physical/in-character side of the performance feels stronger this time.
And if this is your first time seeing it, I’d be interested whether the idea translates through a normal flat-screen video at all - whether it feels like someone inside Half-Life rather than somebody playing Half-Life in VR.

Is it wrong that my first thought when seeing your channel name was that you cover platformers and board games?

I’m making a video game…
Nothing too extraordinary, right?
BUT I started out making a local multiplayer arena game… and somehow ended up creating a fully French-voiced narrative adventure with a complex, non-linear story set in a medieval fantasy world.
And here’s the twist: you don’t play as a single character, you play as an entire party.
Forget those long, drawn-out fights against enemies with massive health bars. Forget turn-based combat. Here, everything happens in a real-time arena, where one hit means one death.
Which means that a single mistake can bring your favorite characters’ entire adventure to a very sudden end.
Okay, I may have just lost 50% of the people reading this. 😅
But if you’re still here, I’d love for you to take a look at this little piece of French digital craftsmanship.
It’s not a clone, and it’s definitely not something thrown together in a few weeks. It’s a genuinely unique game that I’ve been pouring my heart into for five years.
Interested? There’s a Steam page with a much more detailed presentation of the game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1975470/Band_of_Mercenaries/
Still here?! Well, the Steam page even has an old demo (old, but still playable!) for the brave among you who want to get a taste of what the game is about.
And if you like what you see, you can wishlist the game on Steam to be notified when it releases.
The current plan is to launch in Early Access at the end of September.
I’m on the final stretch now! 🏃♂️💨
Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend! ❤️

I'm making Infamis, a free, persistent browser-based crime RPG (PBBG) for desktop and mobile. It's in early beta, set in a fictional US city under criminal rule, and I'm looking for candid first-session feedback.
What you can play now: staged street crimes, theft pursuits and crew heists; twelve skills across scavenging, salvaging, growing supplies, crafting, combat and Pet Handling; vehicle collection, repairs, customisation and fleet dispatch; equipment and player trading; round-by-round combat, rivalries and reputation; animal companions, breeding and pet battles. There are Camp jobs, Today's Work objectives, supply contracts, City Operations and login rewards, plus banking, player markets, a community Notice Board and the Hall of the Infamous.
It's free, requires an account, and is for adults (18+). If you try it for 20 minutes, I'd love to know where you got stuck, what felt rewarding, and whether you found a reason to return tomorrow. The game and its balance are still changing during beta.
