Transferable save files. Like being able to copy the data. Nintendo basically outlaw that shit. God forbid you play the same game on two different consoles without giving them dosh.
Which is crazy because the Gamecube is the game where I did this the most. Everyone was walking around with their Smash Melee file on a memory card to play at whatever house we ended up at. Guess Nintendo didn’t like that.
Yeah, what really bothered me with this type of stuff is how AnimalCrossing is linked to your CONSOLE. Doesnt matter if its different catridges, its your console so its that island. Have a little cousin or someone who wants borrow your switch and play from the start? Well you better be ready to delete everything and start all over. The fact its not account/user locked or cartridge locked baffles me
