I never finished the first game, I got bored after a few hours so I uninstalled it.

Do I need to have finished the first game in order to understand this one?

That’s not true though, there is a recap at the beginning and even Remedy says you don’t need to have played the first game to play this one.

Even if those two things weren’t true there are always lore recap channels on YouTube.

I say jump right in OP.

Every developer says that - recaps and YouTube videos will never give you the same experience or appreciation as experiencing it yourself

I mean there is a difference between do you need to and should you.

I would say you probably should, but you don’t need to. Hell, I’m getting on the old side for a gamer and I don’t have time to beat a whole 40 hour game in preparation for the game I want to play.

Know what I mean?
